I am so enjoying the new look to my front yard and it makes such a pleasure to come home. The crew were very professional and very polite. They cleaned up after themselves each day and especially at the end of construction my yard was neat and tidy. If any changes needed to be made I was consulted immediately. I would be very proud to have this crew work for me. Even my neighbour commented positively about the crew. I also cannot say enough good words about the owner of Green Side Up. He came everyday to see the site and how it was progressing, definitely showing pride in his work. No hesitation on my part to hire Green Side Up again and in fact I look forward to help with my back yard in the near future.

Jay and his team helped us with our front yard and backyard makeover which has received many compliments from others in the neighbourhood. Jordan the foreman is a master craftsman who helped direct the team of skilled workers to complete the makeover efficiently within one week. I was looking for someone who is honest and does good quality work without cutting corners, and that's exactly what I got with Green Side Up. Their pricing was reasonable for the quality of work done, and we were able to stay on budget from the free quote that was provided. It's best to contact them by phone rather than e-mail for quicker responses to inquiries.

We found Jay through HomeStars while we were looking for someone to complete our front landscaping. Luckily we found Jay and his team! From start to finish, we could not be more happy with how everything turned out. Even though I can scrutinize and overanalyze my selections, Jay was more than patient and didn't apply any pressure for us to make a decision. He was always quick to answer any questions, calls and texts we had. We had our front portico floor and concrete steps refaced with flagstone and added an interlocked patio, substantial garden retaining wall and greenery. What we achieved was absolutely what we envisioned! Thank you so much again.

A couple years back Jay made some suggestions for some improvements I could make to my terrace. This year I decided to act on the ideas that Jay had suggested. The end result was amazing ... everything that Jay had recommended fit so well with on my terrace. As a plus, I had a short timeline that I was hoping to achieve and Jay was extremely flexible and delivered everything in the timeline I required. Could not say anything better about this experience! Very happy with my new planters and tree.

When I wanted to landscape my front and back yard, Green Side Up caught my attention with many favorable reviews. As I called Jay, he responded quickly. His quote was 50% lower than another garden builder, based on the same building specifications. Besides, he gave me a few constructive suggestions. The job was done in 10 days by his professional and amiable team led by Jordon, a responsive and flexible fellow with artistic touch. These guys are equipped with right tools and know well what they are doing. The quality and the look of the yard, especially the natural stone stairs and retaining wall have earned me many compliments. I am 100 percent satisfied, as Jay promised to guarantee.

We needed to get some Fence posts replaced (original builder installation was sub-par) as they had rotted. Also, was looking for some recommendations to add to the aesthetic of our small backyard. Upon Home Stars review decided to contact Green Side Up and coordinated a site visit/consult. EVERY part of engagement with every resource (Sonja, Jay, Jordon, Josh) was fantastic. Sonja arranged the visit and Jay and his four-legged "consultant" popped by and quickly assessed the requirements, provided options as well as some great suggestions to maximize curb appeal for a more than fair price. Date was set for work and Jordan and Josh arrived bright and early and got right to work after being kind enough to explain the process. Fence posts (with one of the originals requiring out of the box thinking to remove), Planter borders, Fence skirting, and deck/riser repairs were finished professionally, efficiently with great results. The team was even so kind as to replace some boards on the deck riser that were in a bad state with pieces of the remaining boards. The service area was then cleaned to better than its pre-work state. It was a pleasure to work with an entire crew and I will being using GSU as my go to for this kind of work. Green Side Up did an amazing job creating a live privacy screen with cedar trees against my low fence. I was impressed with Jay's knowledge and vast experience with landscaping and he had a number of suggestions, based on budget. He has an amazing and dedicated crew and Jordan was an excellent leader making sure everything went well. The team bent over backwards to please me, was very patient, asking me for my approval before they did the final planting. The cedar trees in my backyard make the place refreshing and soothing and they beautifully blend with the environment. True Canadian evergreen landscape. I like the height of the trees towering to the sky...

We found Greenside Up through home stars because we were looking for a reputable company to redo our fence. Jay is very impressionable and immediately put us at ease by putting together a quote that was tailored to our needs while offering his expertise on how to do it right. He and his team are the real deal!! Jay's crew are some of the hardest working (and kind hearted) people you will ever meet! They repeatedly thought about our needs including helping with our yard clean up, and great suggestions for building a spot for our firewood storage and a slew of other things that they were just knowledgeable about (from electrical to botany!). I have bought and lived in 3 different houses over the last 10 years and I always look for the pros to do the work. This is the hands down best company that I have had experience with and I would do business with them again in a heartbeat! Jay and the team at Green Side Up were professional and could be counted on to do the job and more. Jay rescued our lawn 3 years ago and we could not be more pleased with his work. I would highly recommend Jay for your summer and winter needs.

Jay came to the rescue one miserable winter day a few years ago when I was trying to shovel a foot of snow and ice from the driveway. It was already mid-season and he was at the maximum number for clients but took us on anyway! This year we hired them to do property maintenance as well and so glad we did. Spring clean up is already done and it looks great! Jay and his crews are always very professional and friendly.
