Front Yard Renovation
We began using Green Side Up for lawn maintenance last year, and after receiving great service, we decided to use them for a huge makeover of our front porch, steps and garden wall. The transformation was incredible! Jay is extremely personable and easy to work with. He consulted with us and kept us informed and included for every step of the process. He was always available and responsive to any request or question we had. And he worked within our budget outlining exactly what could be done without pressuring us in directions we weren’t able to go. The work itself was done by Jordan and his crew. They did outstanding work! Hard working, respectable and tidy young men who were very knowledgeable and took pride in their work. We are extremely happy with the end result and will definitely use them again and recommend them to others. Jay clearly enjoys what he does and is honest and straightforward. His enthusiasm and promptness made it a pleasure to take on this large project and he has an excellent crew that pays attention to quality and detail, while making every effort to create as little disruption as possible. We look forward to having them do more projects for us in the future.

Snow removal and landscaping
I have been doing business with Jay and team for three years now. They take care of a three acre property for me. I couldn't be happier with their service. Their level of professionalism and honesty always impresses. I never worry about being overcharged or left in the cold. It is a great feeling having this level of trust with a vendor - it is hard to find in this business and Jay and team really do deliver and stand behind their work. Totally satisfied and highly recommended.

Property maintenance
We have been using Green Side Up To maintain our property for a few years, and have been more than happy with their services. Green Side Up takes pride in the work they do, and Jay is always available when we need him. In fact, during the recent ice storm on Good Friday,we had a large limb crash down on our driveway, blocking us in. We reached out to Jay, and he was here, chainsaw in hand, within 30 minutes. Being seniors, we are on a fixed income,and when we asked Jay how much we owed him, he said nothing, it's all part of our service. We are also really pleased with the snow clearing and the GPS that notifies us when the trucks are in our area. They do a great job! This, combined with the annual food drive, along with the quality of work that they do, is a true reflection on the company.

Snow removal
I was in need of snow removal services this year so, I called Jay Savell, after reading great reviews about his services. We hired Green Side Up. Even though the winter season has not yet left us, I had to write a review about my experience. I love the notification email that I get when Green Side is in my area and ready to plow, the courtesy plows ahead of heavy rain and subsequent freeze. Green Side Up also has a facebook page and sends courtesy emails when we are dealing with crazy weather and offers recommendations to help ease the aftermath. All these services and they do a great thorough job clearing the drive and walk ways.

Great results and fantastic service
We absolutely loved all our interactions with Jay. He is super responsive and listen to our needs and ideas. He has great professionals working for him who helped us crystalize our vision. The service we received after the job was complete was second to none. Jay was super quick to respond to us when we had a question or needed help or changed our minds about what we would like to see. I would highly reccomed Jay and his company to anyone who is looking to do landscaping work and would absolutely use him again as we settle in our new home and are ready to take on new projects.

Planted a Cedar Hedge
Planted a 30 foot cedar hedge down our fence line. Arrived as scheduled for estimate and planting, and completed right on budget. Quick, clean, professional company. Jay is quick to return phone calls and emails and happy to answer any questions. Cedars are thriving.

Snow Removal and Lawn Care Services
From the very first meeting Jay has been friendly, courteous, and willing to work around our schedule and needs. He has gone out of his way to accommodate special requests and has shown that there are still companies like his whose 'word' and 'handshake' are just as trustworthy as a signed contract. Jay has been very understanding and was willing to work with us to accommodate special circumstances when other companies might have been reluctant to do so. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Property Maintenance
I have been using Green Side Up for property maintenance and highly recommend this company for your lawncare and snow removal needs. Jay, the owner, is very passionate about delivering exceptional customer service - he is always prompt to respond to calls and is a pleasure to deal with. He makes sure to communicate with his customers regularly, especially in the winter months with weather/storm updates. Grant and his crew have done an awesome job this summer with the grass maintenance and they always leave with the property looking clean and well manicured. In the fall, I needed the top of my spruce tree pruned but Grant exceeded my expectations by giving the tree a really good shaping overall! Last but not least, Jay gives back to the community by supporting the local food bank each year and has also responded to charitable and community causes, which is highly commendable. I have seen some of Green Side Up's great landscape construction work and will definitely consider them for a future patio project.

Storage Shed - Design And Build
I contacted Green Side in June after being quite happy with work they did at our home in 2013. Jay was very responsive on initial contact. He came back to me within his committed time line of two weeks with a design, along with an estimate. Together we made some changes to what was proposed. I provided the go-ahead. I wasn't in a rush to have this done. The project was booked for the fall. Fall came and I received a call to inform me of the proposed start date. They were slightly delayed do to the weather. Green Side executed just as I knew they would. A deep foundation was dug. I was actually at work when this happened and Jay had sent me several pictures to show how deep they dug. Jay brought in his electrician who was brilliant, the carpentry work done by Jordan and team, was great and Grant did a fantastic job painting and finessing the final touches. Slightly over budget, however I did make some last minutes changes which Jay was really quite accommodating (and patient!
