Green Side Up is great full service lawn care provider. I started using them last year for snow removal and ended signing a year contract for lawn care, spring and fall clean up and snow removal for this year. Jay also did some landscaping work, he was fast and did a beautiful job. They offer great communication and I highly recommend them.

After buying a new house the backyard grass was left a disaster by the previous owner. Jay was easy to get a hold of, came by quickly to give a fair quote and completed the work professionally and in a timely manner. He made sure to follow up to make sure the grass was taking root and the pictures show a great final product. I will be using his services to maintain my amazing new lawn next year!

We originally used Jay for snow removal only for the winter of 2013, probably the worst winter in along time. His promptness an constant updates as to his status, prompted is to also sign up for property maintenance as well. Again constant updates when it rained so you new what was happening. There attention to detail and any concerns is unmatched. The snow removal was done sometimes two and three times in a day and I have even seen his truck drive by even after doing the windrow in case the plow came a second time, just to check. If you want caring service and feel you are in the loop as to the status of there rounds you have to hire this company. I believe he even has a GPS monitor in the trucks that you can go on line and see where he is and then get s feel for when they will arrive at your place.

In the past I have had my driveway plowed by a few different contractors. Most of them did an okay job WHEN THEY SHOWED UP! When I initially met with Jay I let him know that other than timely clearing I was concerned about the windrows left by the street plow and the snow left by the sidewalk plows. The driveway was always cleared beyond my expectations, the windrow was removed usually shortly after the street was plowed and if the snow from the sidewalk plow required to be removed he said "just call me". For the few times I had to call him, he was usually there in less than 30 minutes! Whenever a larger than normal snow storm was expected, Jay would communicate by email his plan of action well in advance. Given the severity of last years winter including the ice storm, the performance of Jay and his team was excellent. I highly recommend Green Side Up for your snow removal needs. I signed up for another year.

My experience with Green Side Up started when I signed a contract for snow removal in the late fall of 2013. I have always looked after snow removal myself and after speaking with neighbours about their experiences with other companies I was very leery about using any snow removal company. Needless to say the 2013-2014 winter was one of the worst that I have ever experienced and thank goodness Jay and his crew were there. Our driveway was always one of the first cleared on the street. This always included the shovelling of the front and side walks. To me the most important feature of Green Side Up is the communication link that they have with their customers. Whenever a storm was forecasted I received communication via email advising that Jay and his staff were monitoring the storm . He continually kept me informed as to when we could expect him to come by and he never let us down. I would be remiss if I did not mention that the fee for Green Side Up services were more than reasonable. I will recommend him every chance that I get.

I have used Greenside Up for the past 4 years and am very pleased with the service they provide. They do what they say they will do and if there is a problem they will rectify it. We needed to have our backyard fixed up in time for my son's first birthday, and we had left it to the very, very end. We called around, couldn't get anyone. Finally, we decided to try the bit and piece approach and started to rip out stuff on the right side flower bed. Well, that just looked horrible, as you can see in the "before" picture. We were not happy. This is when my wife called Jay from Green Side Up. Telling him our story, Jay was very sympathetic. He made time in his busy schedule to squeeze us in. His team found us the largest and most beautiful Red Japanese Maple that he could find (at a decent price too) along with other choice plants. They graded and re-sodded the lawn. They put a covering over and mulched both side beds, looking very sharp. All this time, Jay was very personable and sensitive to our wishes. They completely transformed what looked horrible into something beautiful and easy to maintain, as you can see in the "after" picture. And check out the gorgeous red maple on the right! Now the backyard is ready for my son's first birthday, just in time. Thanks a million to Jay and the team from Green Side Up!

This spring we contracted Jay and Green Side Up for lawn care,and having neglected our eves troughs for a year, asked if he would be able to clean our eves and at what price. Jay said "no problem, no charge " - and as you can see from the photos, they really were an awful mess. It's the little extras like this that make us extremely satisfied with Jay and his crew.

Urgently needed some redo to our front walkway ! Searching reviews on HomeStars I came across Green Side Up. We gave them a call and Jay promptly got back to us and came to our house to see what our needs were. He asked us to go and pick out what patio stones we liked and was soon on site to do the job. Jay and Mel turned a disaster into an amazing area ! It was a pleasure to have Jay and Mel around and new friendships were formed along with one fantastic front walkway ! Great Job Green Side Up !

We have recently had a new fence/gate built by Green Side Up Landscaping and as well, they replaced a small patio and a larger one. We are very pleased with the outcome and find these patios are now a great enhancement to our home. Jay ensured they were built with attention to detail and at the same time focused on proper drainage away from the house. We enjoyed having the Green Side Up team working on our property and doing such a professional job in a very timely manner. All their efforts, the satisfactory pricing along with the high quality of workmanship is very much appreciated. We will definitely recommend Green Side Up anytime.
