The sprocket on my garage door opener broke and I was debating whether to try to fix it myself or call professionals for help. After watching Youtube videos, I figured that the job was too complex and I'd be better off by leaving it to the professionals...and boy I'm glad I did. Based on the great reviews here, I contacted Garage Door Geeks and obtained a quote through their website. The price seemed reasonable, based on the research that I've done, so I decided to go with them and we arranged a time that worked best for both of us. Nazar came by did an inspection and confirmed that aside from the sprocket everything else was ok. He replaced the sprocket, performed lubrication and tune-up work on the door all the while providing me with some maintenance tips and explaining how the various mechanisms on the door operate. This is the second time i have worked with Garage door Geeks. First time they replaced one panel on bottom. This time a it was time for a new system. I had a 20 year Old Lynx 1/2hp chain system. Was very loud. my remote would not work anymore and keypad was shot. Was not worth trying to fix. They put in a new Chamberlain 1.25 hp belt drive system. WOW..what a difference. So quiet. As always they do great work...fast..reliable and reasonable. Don't waste your time doing yourself. Spend a little and get it done right the first time. I highly recommend them. ($160 for the installation. New Garage door opener Separate. Depends what you buy.

Excellent service from Pavel. The garage door was broken, and opener would sometimes fail to work. He installed the new opener and fixed the door, all in less than an hour. He explained how the new opener functions very clearly and was friendly. Highly recommended.

Oleh and his brother were a pleasure to work with. Oleh showed up within the week for a free in person quote when many other companies would have charged for this. Next he walked my family and I through all of the possible options while providing his personal opinion and not being pushy. We chose to follow his advice in terms of the style and insulation level he recommended to suit our needs. He even recommended for us to pick up a particular motor on sale from Canadian Tire ourselves to save $100 or so. Many other companies would have opted to pocket this extra $100. Their company is very professional not only in their installation but also in the way they conduct their business. Several electronic invoices were sent to confirm the quote, the initial deposit as well as the final payment. Go with Garage Door Geeks, you will not be disappointed!
