Remember to have the Garage Door Geeks carefully explain the limitations of its warranty before you use its services. In June 2019 Garage Door Geeks installed a new garage door opener, including new safety sensors. Owner Nadar and a new technician were very helpful and professional. Three months later the opener stopped working. According to its Home Stars statement, Garage Door Geeks offer “warranty on all work our qualified technicians perform on your garage door …. Our warranty is unbeatable.” So, I optimistically called the company to fix the problem. This time owner Oleh told me he suspected that the safety sensors were not aligned correctly, but he also informed me that the company's warranty did NOT cover realigning sensors, even though Garage Door Geeks had installed them only three months ago. I would have to pay for a technician's visit. Oleh also advised me to contact the garage door opener manufacturer to learn what to do. After I protested a lot, Oleh stated that the “conversation was going nowhere.” (Who talks to customers like that?) So, he agreed to inspect the problem later in the day. Through a very time-consuming Google search and calls to my technically-oriented friends, I miraculously fixed the problem on my own, even though I did not have a clue about what safety sensors were and how to adjust them. (What is wrong with this picture?) I expected much better follow-up customer service from Garage Door Geeks.

Called on Tuesday evening after my extension cables gave out on my garage door. Nazar booked me in for the next afternoon. He arrived, assessed the job, and got to work right away. He replaced all rusty parts and lubricated all joints (also on my other garage door). He was in and out in about 30 minutes. Very happy with the service and that it is covered under a 1 year warranty. Don't think twice - book Garage Door Geeks for any job related to your garage doors. Definitely a satisfied customer.

The torsion spring on my garage door broke and the garage door would not go up. I called three companies who said that the earliest they could schedule a service call was in three days. I the called the Garage Door Geeks who said they would have a service tech out the next morning. Sure enough Pavel arrived right on time the following day. He quickly assessed the situation and replaced the spring in about 30 minutes. In addition he replaced a roller that was missing and adjusted the garage door opener and oiled the chain and rollers. Finally he replaced the worn out rubber weather stripping at the bottom of the door. He took away all the debris and was done in an hour. A great experience all round. I would definitely recommend them for any garage door repair. Brian Toronto

Nazar came out to look at the job within 2 days of postings. He gave professional advice and let me know the timeline for delivery. He deliver a finish product as promised. He completed a after sales run through with me and made I knew if there were any problems he was available. Very pleased with the results of the project. The appearance of the front of the house is vastly improved

We have a very old garage door that has given us trouble in the past. It finally stopped working after years of being finicky and the cable that attached the door to the ancient springs gave. We could still open the door but without the spring ballast, the door was very, very heavy and awkward to open. Oleg arrived exactly on time. He communicated and presented very well and after a few minutes of being shown the problem he got to work. Within an hour he had fixed the problem and given all of the parts of the garage an overall maintenance check and lubrication. Now our garage door is working better than it ever has in the 8 years we have owned this property even though we have other people work on the garage door in the past. Great service. We needed a garage door motor replaced. First email contact was monday, they came on wednesday as agreed and right on time. The technician doing the install was polite and worked quickly and everything is working great. It's a very small job but they did it very well. Highly recommended.

Amazing service! I called up Garage Door Geeks to repair a garage door. He was very kind and courteous on the phone, and in-person he was even more professional. The repair was done quickly, but with quality and care. Highly recommend them for garage repairs and will be my go to for future garage door repairs/replacement.

Awesome company!!! One of my best experiences, from start to finish, with any company. Great work, friendly and very reasonable. A pleasure to deal with over the phone and in person. My garage door suddenly wouldn’t close. I called late afternoon and, after suggesting and ensuring that I was able to close it manually for the night, arranged to come out the next day. They fixed the problem, adjusted and better secured the sensors and lubricated the system. They also replaced the battery in the remote and re-programmed it as it hadn’t worked in years. I then mentioned I didn’t have a key for the manual lock/opener and they were able to install a new one. Everything was done quickly and efficiently and they took the time to go over how the system works and how to best maintain it. It’s obvious they know their business and take pride in their work.

The customer service was above and beyond excellence, from start to finish. The team was professional, efficient, and very friendly. An outstanding team with quality workmanship, and an end result that is absolutely beautiful. A big thank you to Oleh, Nazar, and Oleh, the installer, for such a great job.
