Our garage door spring snapped in the middle of the night. We heard a loud noise but didn't realize it was the spring until the next morning when we went to open the garage door and well it wouldn't open. I called around to several companies to get quotes for its replacement. Nazar offered a very competitive and informative quote, was friendly and had same day availability. A few hours after my call, Oleg was at my door. He was professional, courteous, informative and friendly. He quickly got my garage door working and gave us some tips to maintain the life of the spring. Overall, great service couldn't be happier with the results.

I came home on a Friday evening to find out that the spring on my garage door had broken and my car was stuck inside. My teenage daughter needed the car for the evening so it was a panic. I checked HomeStars and found Garage Door Geeks. I gave them a call at 5:20 p.m. (on a Friday!) and received service by 6:00 p.m. with no premium charge for rush service. The first time I came across Garage Door Geeks was in June of 2016, when my tenants reported the garage door was broken. Oleg fixed the issue with the cable on the same day that I called, and the fee was reasonable. Two days ago, there was another problem, so I decided to call Garage Door Geeks again. Just as before, Oleg came to rescue immediately and repaired the issue (faulty motor). I really appreciate that he communicated with me prior to the repair and after, as I was out of the country. Got a call from my tenants that the garage door was not opening. Was not sure on who to call, while checking out companies online came across Garage Door Geeks. Nazar was polite and was able to provide same day service. Once he was at the site he called me and provided a detailed explanation of what had happened, what needed to be fixed, and the costs to do so. Being a math and science geek, I'll admit that I was a little biased in choosing Garage Door Geeks from the list of qualified service providers on Homestars. However, based on the service that I got from Nazar, I am absolutely glad that I called GDG. Nazar came to my home on the date and time that we had agreed upon over the phone, which was within two days of calling him (of which he informed me that he would have come the day I called if I was in a dire situation but it wasn't an emergency). What I really liked about Nazar was that he took the time to explain to me the whole process, over the phone, of the pros and cons of repairing the gears on my already 15 year old opener to replacing the whole thing. I had chosen to replace and considering that I had purchased the opener at Lowes, I knew that I was getting a professional, unbiased comparison of the 2 options (repair or replace); as never did he offer to sell me an opener. His work was impeccable! All electrical wires were neatly set and all mechanical components on my door were checked for proper function and were lubed. All in all, I would gladly call Nazar at GDG again for any future work, and I have already passed on his contact info to my colleagues. Thanks Nazar!

Called Nazar for repairing because of unprofessional job left by previous garage door service company. Very bad snowing weather, but he showed on time. After examing the problem, Nazar knew exactly what the problem was and got the door fix in 10 min, which was declared by the previous company as 'nothing we can do'. Highly recommend to people in need for garage door works. His rate is also unbeatable.

Nazar and Olig (I think) were great with the work they performed. They actually fixed the garage door for the reason other then their contract on a subsequent visist, and were kind enough to oil the adjacent garage door, replaced the battery of the garage opener. Great hard working brothers team.
