Toronto Comfort Zone sold and installed our Capella 33 fireplace insert. Sonny went through all of our different options in detail, making our decision easy. He also did a site visit to ensure all the installation requirements had been met. The installers also did a great job and left no mess behind. I would definitely recommend Toronto Comfort Zone.

We had an old insert gas fireplace surrounded by a wall of brick and very large hearth made of bricks. Once we removed all the bricks we were left with an off-centre non-symmetrical firebox hole in our basement wall. We had a vision of what we wanted and were very nervous that we could find someone that could execute it all. We did our research on HomeStars and were impressed with the reviews for Sonny. We called Sonny and setup a visit to our home. From the moment we met Sonny we knew we were in good hands. Sonny is very patient and expertly answered all of our many questions. He is a wonderful professional to work with. We explained what we wanted which was not a very straightforward job and Sonny brainstormed with us on how to achieve it. After a few weeks of discussions via phone and emails (sending pictures back and forth) we settled on a design which included: a new zero clearance fireplace vented through the chimney with an approved adapter, framing around the fireplace creating a new 12 foot insulated wall with symmetrical recessed panels on each side, plus a custom molded cast stone mantel. Sonny spoke to his team to determine the final pricing. The quotes for the jobs were very competitive and we decided to proceed with Sonny and his team to do the work. Sonny co-ordinated with his team and us and everything proceeded smoothly. The gas fireplace installers were efficient, clean and did a great job. The framer was excellent and was able to transform the space into a wonderful new wall area. He was very knowledgeable and answered any questions asked and made sure the job was proceeding as we expected. His attention to detail and neatness were very much appreciated. The mantel creator/installer did an amazing job at creating the custom mantel that we asked for. The mantel installation was done perfectly and neatly and put the final touches on a beautiful new fireplace area! We highly recommend Sonny and his team to take care of your fireplace projects. We needed to replace our old gas fireplace. Sonny at Toronto Comfort Zone explained the options and answered all my questions. He quickly followed up and the installer showed up on time on the appointed day. The installer did a great job of removing the old gas fireplace and installing the new one, even managing to preserve the existing mantle. I highly recommend Toronto Comfort Zone for your fireplace needs.

After getting led astray by my contractor on another type of fireplace. Visited Sonny at his store and he was able to suggest a solution to our problem. His installers were clean and professional and showed up on time. At Sonny's suggestion we also used Luigi to finish the surround around the fireplace. Turned out great and we are very happy with the overall experience.

I provided him the dimensions of my fireplace opening and he quickly recommended several models that were suitable for me. He worked with my budget and we arrived at the Napoleon GI3600. The installers arrived and were knowledgeable and professional. I'm now enjoying the comfort and beauty of my new fireplace. I moved last year and wanted to add a dimplex unit to my living room. Thanks to Toronto Comfort Zone my dream came true. Like so many people these days I was able to do all my research and decide exactly what I wanted online. However the "challenges" of ordering online made me realize that my needs would be much better served by finding a local retailer. Easier said than done... and I was really disappointed with the first few stores I called because they were charging significantly more for the unit that 4 online websites that deliver in Toronto. Ultimately I called the Dimplex head office and they referred me to Toronto Comfort Zone. I called Sonny and then went to visit his beautiful shop. He offered me a competitive price and also answered all of my questions regarding assembly and installation. I am so glad we connected. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for this type of product. Ticked all the boxes.... excellent customer service AND competitive pricing. Very glad I was able to support this local businessman.

So I emailed Toronto Comfort Zone with an inquiry about the price and availability of a Napoleon Linear fireplace. Sonny responded very quickly and provided me with the MSRP and a discounted price he would sell it to me for. The product was back ordered a week longer than what he said it would be, but emailed me to let me know . A great experience dealing with Sonny. A very friendly and knowledgeable man. Toronto Comfort Zone replaced an old wood-burning builder-installed fireplace with a new zero clearance direct vent gas fireplace. From start to finish it was a pleasant experience. Sonny explained everything in full when he came to assess the project. He patiently answered all our questions. On the install day, Arek arrived exactly on time and executed the job quickly and efficiently. When he had finished there was no sign that major construction had occurred. The room was as clean as a whistle. Most importantly, the service and the end-product were exactly as promised.

Highly recommended. Decided to go with the option to have a specialist hand lay the brick and was very pleased with the result and exceptional attention to detail. Note: Procured my own hearth and live edge reclaimed wood mantel. Over a year later, I had a minor item that had to be cleaned up and Sonny sent his crew to address. Good customer service.
