    best of the best!

Movers were on time, were very respectful and knowledgeable. They used mats to protect our floors, knew exactly how to wrap/blanket our furniture to best protect it. We were very impressed with their level of service. As well, the office staff was ALWAYS very easy to reach (Francine) and helpful on clarifying and explaining information. The gal who did our estimate was also on time, efficient and clearly very experienced in estimating. Super job from all at Canadian Moving Services. Thank you so much.”

    Edmonton Move

Polite, punctual and extremely hard working crew of 3 (Eric, Jeremy and Curtis). Moved a 2 bedroom apartment as well as a storage locker in just over 4 hours. Worked non-stop and very careful with items. Reasonable price as quoted. My wife and I would recommend them to anybody without hesitation. Pleasure to be around.

    Moving Service

I am writing this review on behalf of my 74 year old mother. She recently contracted this outfit to move her small seniors apartment to another small senior apartment. One small living room and one small bedroom and no boxes. They charged her 5 hours for two hours of real work. They refused to use the lock out key for the elevator, so they could rack up more time, the elevator is very busy in a retirement home, but there are many of them. There was plenty of damage on her possessions. One hour travel time was charged to travel 1 kilometer. If you want to hire an outfit that damages your possessions, and has the moral indecency to take advantage of a 74 year old woman, this is the out fit for you.

I would like to offer our sincere apologies to your mother. We would like to offer a free move or delivery up to $250 to your mother with an efficient crew. Thank you for your comprehension!

    Moving

After a number of emails back and forth I had decided to book with this company to move our relatives in Edmonton. My grandmother was moving from her 1 bedroom apartment into a 2 bedroom at a different location, and we were supposed to pick up another relatives things from a storage unit as well as they were moving in together. I was assured in the emails that the truck would be large enough for a packed 8X10 storage unit-equal to a one bedroom apartment, as well as another 1 bedroom apartment (2 -1 bedroom apartments). I was very clear, as to the amount of things needed to be moved. I even went as far as to list each piece of furniture and the amount of boxes in the email! However, after all that they did not send a truck big enough. We had to load up from the storage unit- go to the 2 bedroom to unload-then go back to the apartment to load up again- and back to unload. The girl on the phone -at first said it was my fault and that I wasn't clear in the emails- Then after calling her back and reading the emails word for word back to her she realized her mistake- but still was not apologetic at all. Still saying it was my fault and I should have booked a bigger truck. She also said I was welcome to choose another company to move the rest of our things if I was unhappy! who am I going to get on moving day! I was never told the different truck sizes in the beginning- Just was assured the truck they were sending would be big enough. This caused me to have to pay extra time for the movers- and so much hassle and frustration. The movers were great, pleasant young men and I felt bad for them being in the middle of my phone disputes with this receptionist lady who was very rude. I feel I was definitely led to believe they could handle my move, but in fact if they knew they would have to take 2 trips and told me- I would have chosen a different company had I known they couldn't move everything in one trip. Definitely ripped off. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and after 2 months I received a refund for $100. At least that was nice of them, but a hassle, and waste of time for sure.
