Panel upgrade and aluminum remediation
A great experience. Paul came around a day or so after I requested an estimate, had a good but brief look around, outlined the potential scope of the job and various options, and emailed the estimate right away. A few questions were answered promptly and in detail. On the day the work was to start, they arrived exactly on time, got right to it, and finished well within the estimated three days. While they were here, they were pleasant, answered all sorts of questions from this curious homeowner but otherwise tried to be unobtrusive. They cleaned up well after they were done, and even helped move some of the furniture back. And the final invoice was pretty much exactly what was on the original estimate. Hiring a contractor should always be this good.

Panel breakers installed
I’ve been doing my own basement renovation, and recently had a failed inspection because I didn’t put in arc fault breakers on the panel. Being a plumber by trade I’m not very good at electrical. Well fast Forward Our family brought a new baby into the world and haven’t had the time to get to the breakers. So today was the last day that my permit was still good, so panicking I called Paul last night and he graciously fit me into his schedual, he sent out Hayden this morning and had the whole job done before the inspector got here to inspect all my deficiencies. I can’t thank the team at Panel Upgrade Experts enough! They are true professionals!

Panel Replacement
Paul and Jill are fantastic. Paul took charge of the situation. Our property is undergoing secondary suite approval process. Paul is knowledgeable about the bylaws, the permit process and how to meet the requirements in cost effective manner. His price is very competitive. Between myself and my brothers, we have 10 properties in Calgary and Paul will always be our go-to electrician. We will spread the news further about one of the best electricians in town.

Chandelier installation
The work by Panel Upgrade Experts was done efficiently and expertly. We had a heavy (80 pound) chandelier that wouldn't hang safely from the existing electrical box. Paul's solution was to reinforce the electrical box by installing a block between the ceiling beams. We highly recommend Panel Upgrade Experts.

Garage Heater Wiring & Installation
I got a few quotes on a small job that i had wanted done, wiring a 220v line into the garage for a electric heater. I wasn't in a hurry though as this was a want type of job as opposed to a need type & Jill was very accommodating on this front. Paul came in and gave a quote for the wiring plus a heater unit, he was very friendly and easily knew what i wanted. The pricing was competitive with the other quotes and i ended going with Panel Upgrade Experts due to their professionalism answering any questions i had, friendly disposition and overall good feeling and i wasn't disappointed. I never felt any pressure to speed up my decision on when or if i was going to do the job. When Paul came to the installation he was friendly, quick and did a great job including the cleanup. I would totally use them again for any electrical work and would recommend them to friends or anyone else needing an electrician. Thanks for the great job and sorry for the delay in providing this review.

Electrical- Hot Tub
We have made use Panel Upgrade Experts services for a number of projects and they have always been excellent. Paul is a well experienced electrician who is always prepared to go the extra mile. Jill is on the ball in scheduling and sending reminders. We will continue to use Panel Upgrade Experts and confident in referring them to our family and friends.

New Electrical Panel & Alumiconn
Had Paul from Panel Upgrade Experts Replace my electrical panel,Upgraded my aluminum wire with Alumiconn connectors, replace my outside outlets, installed a bathroom fan, & installed 5 ceiling lights. I called Panel Upgrade Experts because of the reviews on home stars, in fact all work I get done around my house or yard I always go to home stars,has never failed me yet. Paul did an excellent job was at my house over 3 days & always showed up at 8:30am sharp each day as he said he would. There was a few issues with some of the wiring , & was fixed by Paul. Paul is an excellent electician & is very knowledgeable with all things electrical.I would not hesitate to call Panel Upgrade Experts If I ever need any electrical work done again.In fact any family or friends that need electrical work I would tell them to call Panel Upgrade Experts, & have Paul do the work. I feel a lot safer with the Alumiconn that was done & the panel upgrade as the old electrical panel was no longer up to code. The new LED ceiling lights look so nice, glad I had Paul put them up. I was given a letter for my insurance company, saying my aluninum wiring is fixed with the alumiconn connectors. As for the pricing it was Excellent, less than I thought it would be for all the work that was done. If you are in need of any electrical work you can't go wrong giving Panel Upgrade Experts a call.

Kitchen Lighting
From the quote to installation, Paul and his team was a pleasure to deal with. All questions were answered quickly, and we couldn’t be happier with the finished product. We wanted to change out ugly kitchen track lighting to replace with some recessed LEDs and add a new circuit for a series of pendants over our kitchen island. We had received several quotes from other electricians and/or general contractors who emphasized there would be a significant amount of damage to the ceiling and surrounding drywall which quickly ate up our project budget. Paul and Katelyn did an outstanding job. They showed up on time, stepped through all the changes they were going to make, laid out the lighting, and upon our approval got to work. Experts is not even an exaggeration – the professionalism and quality of work that was completed was awesome. I would recommend Panel Upgrade Experts to anyone looking to have any electrical work completed.

Tesla wall charger
Found Panel Upgrade Experts on Tesla's recommended electrician webpage. Company did a spectacular job installing a Tesla wall charger in my garage. Paul was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. Provided a prompt quote and had me scheduled within a week. Am happy with the results and highly recommend Panel Upgrade Experts for your electrical needs.

Electrical work
We had Paul and Jake mitigate some aluminum wire problems. We are very happy with the service from them and the rest of the team. They are very professional, friendly and put in the extra effort to explain what they are doing and why. we have recommended them to friends and family and will continue to do so.
