    The work the Rock Bottom team did far exceeded our expectations. They're solution focused and have an established methodology allowing them to execute seamlessly and on time but also be agile when there's changes to the original plan. Our original quote (above) was for only underpinning ( 4ft deep / 25x45 area) but the project grew to heated floors, a walk out and, an extension. When we realized we wanted to do all the additional items, the Rock Bottom team had no hesitation about doing the additional work. In fact they were able to provide us additional input on design and structure and their pricing was fair. We really felt they were invested in the work they were doing and our ultimate goals for optimizing our space. Professional, organized, transparent, subject matter experts and again solution- oriented. They managed the process from start to finish and were reachable at all times. They were excellent at working with other trades in the house and coordinting inpections with the city inpectors and respectful of neighbours property. Very important!! We were grateful for their ability to breakdown and simplify complicated construction issues around method and application. We were given options to help us make decisions based on budget and overall goals. Very inclusive, responsive, and transparent. We received 4 quotes and their pricing was competitive but the main reason we selected them was their immediate and consistent client engagement at the beginning of the process. From first conversation to the very end, always buttoned up ready. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and plan on working with them again. An absolute pleasure to work with and wish them continued success!

    Basement underpinning

    Underpinning and foundation

    Jamie was the project manger on my site and was great to work with. Him and the owner Dion were very communicative and helpful throughout the whole project. Sergio the foreman was the star of the show. I really enjoyed having him on my site and he and his team made the work seem effortless and we’re always happy to keep the site clean. Overall the entire operation was very professional and I would definitely recommend them to other general contractors like myself.

    Underpinning and excavation

    RockBottom is professional! They were fast and efficient and work with us for any concernes we brought up. All of our neighbours even commented on how nice all the crew are. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have them do work them.

    Basement Underpinning

    Very impressed with the speed and quality Rock Bottom provided for our basement underpin. The crew led by Sergio and Quim were very professional and everyone was great to work with. Would highly recommend Rock Bottom to anyone looking to underpin their basement.

    Underpinning and Excavation

    Jamie and the crew did an amazing job underpinning the basement and excavating/building the foundation for the addition. The job was completed ahead of schedule and all ready for framing. Can't wait to have the guys over for the next project - Garage!

    Basement Underpinning

    I had a good and pleasant experience hiring this company to lower my basement’s floor, had a very hard working crew working at my house from start to finish with no delays along the way. I would defiantly recommend this company to others. Jamie, Deon. Frank and the crew were all awesome.

    Basement Underpinning

    If you want the best underpinners out there, look no further! Rock Bottom's professionalism was impressive from the very first day, Jamie kept us up to date through the entire process and ensured all customer expectations were met. The site crew was absolutely outstanding and very skilled. They dealt with issues quickly and efficiently and were always happy to show you the progress first hand. Wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Rock Bottom to anyone that want's to tackle any kind of underpinning project, of any size and any complexity.

    Basement Underpinning and Excavation

    Quality results, timely delivery, competitive pricing - well deserving of 10 stars. Highly recommend! Special thanks to Jamie for being so patient with me throughout every step of this project. Having no prior background on basement excavations or underpinning, Jamie shared tons of valuable knowledge and always provided prompt responses to my questions every step of the way. I also really appreciated how Dion demonstrated he was invested in our project, as though it was his own basement!

    Underpinning

    Underpinning being a major undertaking, I wanted to feel comfortable with who the people doing the work. From the beginning, the team at Rock Bottom made me feel the most comfortable. There was a lot of water during the underpinning and the crew kept us informed the whole time. Sam and his crew are great. Suggest people get to know these guys if you have them. Through all the water, hand mixing the concrete (due to the amount of water and need to do less sections at a time), there was never a mention of any extras and the job was complete on time and as quoted. The guys at Rock Bottom are great, professional and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to underpin.
