The kitchen is the heart of the home. Good food means good times, happy faces and a showcase of pride in the home. My wife being a chef, it was all the more important that the kitchen be not just beautiful but functional. So, when we started looking around for someone to do our kitchen, it was a long process. I wrote emails to at least 20 places before finally deciding in Magnum. And I was not disappointed.
Avtar took a full 2 hours to take me through all possible materials and options in their showroom, just so I could decide. Then they made sure to always answer my questions, the very same day. So many emails from me, but they always patiently replied, setting my mind at ease. I must have asked for at least 10 quotes from them with all kinds of permutations and combinations, before finally settling on exactly what we wanted. They gave all 10 quotes, with all information in detail.
In terms of the work itself, I just gave them a key to the house and came back from work every day to see the kitchen transform every day, bit by bit. We have a floor to ceiling built in pantry on one side where there was just dead space before. There is a gleaming quartz countertop and soft close cabinets where there were narrow drawers before. The kitchen is functional, it is inviting. The workers all cleaned up after the work, carted away the old kitchen, retained exactly what I wanted to keep and in general, were excellent through what can be a very difficult time.
