Interlocking Job - Back Patio
I have a really hard time trusting people and in saying that I was unsure if I wanted to go ahead in even getting any quotes for a Back Patio. My biggest concern was that they would go and take my money and do a crappy job. But that was definitely not the case here. Pro-Loc truly takes pride in their work. My first encounter was with the Salesman (Paul S), and he was extremely pleasant, and didn't try just to sell me the job, but took pride in the quality of work that Pro-Loc does, and assisted well with the picking of the brick right down to the Garden that I was looking to add to the Back Patio he was great! After the job was signed, they showed up a couple weeks later, which would be expected as the Summer is busy, and can be unpredictable for weather, especially here in Canada. Alex & Bill came in, and not only did they do a fantastic job and it looked exactly how I wanted it to look. I happened to be home the day that they did the job, and they even asked if everything looked great. In which I replied yes! I couldn't be happier in choosing Pro-Loc to do my Back Patio, and I will be definitely be calling them again in the near future to do my front porch. I would definitely recommend them to all my friends & family. Thanks again. Bianca.

Interlocking
Wednesday September 3, 2014 Myself and Wife were planning on doing Interlocking since last year and were determined that we will do it this year. So i started looking for someone via Google/Kijiji and Personal References. With the amount of money i was spending and doing it first time I wanted to make sure i was right in picking up someone doing front of my house. I got 4 contractors came by including Paul S. from Pro-Loc. Out of 4 Paul S. appealed both of us so much and just due to the fact that unlike others who just did the measurement and gave pricing he involved himself so much in outlining the design, how things would look and explaining us different options that can give different looks etc etc.. No Rush - Not confused - and Knows his job. Excellent Marketer. The initial Meet was about roughly 11/2 hrs but we were sold. We asked him to let us think, he didn't push us at all for hiring them and only focussed on the work and making sure we were clear n comfortable and understood the whole thing. A week later we called Paul again with having some changes in mind and lot of other questions as we saw some jobs done in our area and other areas (as we drove around). I spend another hour with Paul changing the original design etc. and finally we asked him to set up a date. The work started as expected and Alex was in the front yard 7 am with his crew and machinery. Did excellent job and finished it next day before noon. Alex and the crew, the first impression you get is that they know their job and that was true when they were done. The job was done very well. They give 2 years warranty for the workmanship. Dealing with Alex was excellent. Overall I would say Pro-Loc with the People (Paul/Alex) working for it are great to deal with. Their quote was expensive than others for sure But, Service and Quality comes for a Price.

Backyard Patio
I had a difficult time deciding how to rate Pro-Loc. Overall we are very happy with the quality of work provided. However, the customer service that we received was pretty poor. For this reason I have not continued the trend of perfect 10 star ratings for Pro-Loc. Our patio was a small job. I suspect that this is why we were treated like a less important customer than some of the reviews that we have read. When we first booked the job, we were told that our patio would be installed in the first week of July. Obviously weather, add-ons to earlier jobs, etc could push this out, so we expected a 1-2 week delay. The first week of July came and went with no contact from Pro-Loc. After two weeks, I contacted the rep that we had signed with (Paul) and was told that our job was delayed another 1-2 weeks. This time frame came and went as well. I found that I had to contact Pro-Loc for updates, they did not contact me proactively to let me know what was going on. After 6 weeks, I contacted the company directly and got in touch with Alex. He told me that the delay would be another 1-2 weeks and reminded me that he was losing money on the delays and assured me that my job was not the only delayed job. Looking at the 10/10 ratings they have been getting all summer on larger jobs, I would be surprised if that were actually the case. Within a few days, Alex contacted me to tell me they would be starting the job that week. I was thrilled and stayed home from work to be available. No one showed up and no one called. The next day, same thing. After getting in touch with him, Alex told me that they'd start the next day (Saturday). I woke up to find Alex hard at work with 3 young guys in the backyard. This was nice to see, obviously he was working a weekend so we appreciated that. Monday came, some bricks were missing so the job was delayed again. On Weds when they were able to get back to work, 3 guys showed up - Not Alex or Bill. At the end of the day, one of the guys came to the door to collect our payment. We did not see or hear from Alex or Bill again, or anyone at Pro-Loc for that matter. I was expecting maybe a follow up call or something, after all of that delay and after handing our money over to some random employee, but nothing. So overall, yes we're happy with the job, but no we're not happy with the experience.

Driveway and Retaining Wall
One is always skeptical to believe on-line reviews, especially when they are so numerous! But I have to say, Pro-Loc deserves every one. We were very happy we choose them from Home stars. Our neighbours and we decided on a joint project - one large driveway with pavers and two curving retaining walls. We couldn't be more happier. Alex, Bill and their teams of hard, meticulous workers completed a beautiful project in only 2 days! The prices were reasonable, the workmanship excellent, and the overall experience - extremely positive. I wish all contractors fostered such work ethic and client satisfaction. Thanks for everything guys!!

Surrounding Pool Patio
Bill, Alex in the team did an excellent job on this project. They went out of their way to meet my tight timelines and were valid collaborators when we evaluated the progress as the project needed a tweak. And Bill is has a killer shoulder-shrugging dance move! Professional and trustworthy and Pride-driven with their work.

Interlocking - walkway and backyard patio
The Pro-Loc team is definitely one of the best companies out there. On top of quality workmanship, they also have a friendly, knowledgeable and professional manner that makes all the difference. Bill, Alex and their team completed their work in a span of three days. Afterwards, all of our neighbours marvelled not only at the final product, but the speed at which they worked and the cleanliness of the worksite thereafter. Tyler from the Pro-Loc team came by to do some additional work for us and though he's a young guy, he exhibited the same professionalism as we saw with Bill and Alex. It's obvious that the team is very well run and you can tell everyone takes pride in their work. Thank you Pro-Loc for a job well done.

Patio / Walkway / Sitting Area
Let me start by saying that we are not the easiest people to please. We are very meticulous and what a pleasure it was to find a company that shared our passion for perfection. We called a few companies for quotes and after not too much debate we chose Pro-Loc. Price-wise Pro-Loc was very competitive and we believe that we received great value for the price we paid. The crew even helped us dismantle and remount our fountain. These guys are very professional and know exactly what to do when it comes to stone work. Our property offered some interesting challenges and Bill, Alex and the boys handled it with ease. Bill and Alex are very easy to talk to and a pleasure to work with. They listened to what we wanted to achieve and then surpassed our expectations. All their employees are equally professional , very pleasant and courteous. They all seem to enjoy what they do very much. What these artisans can do with a diamond blade will amaze you. Look closely at the pictures we posted ... pay special attention to the curves and notice how perfectly cut the stone is. Another observation that we made was that after the work was completed there was absolutely NO property damage anywhere...they cleaned up after themselves.and left the property in much better condition than they found it.We trusted Pro-Loc with this work and are glad we did. Thank You very much to Bill, Alex and their crew......all we have gotten so far is compliments.....Please see pictures Keep up the good work guys !! Big thanks to Alex and the entire Pro-loc team for their beautiful work on our entire landscape project. Alex went above and beyond to ensure that we were involved throughout the entire project, communicating every step of the way. Alex was able to satisfy our needs while working within our budget. Backyard Patio
I called 6 different landscaping companies for estimates. Pro-Loc was not the cheapest but I trusted Bill and Alex after contacting their references and seeing some of their beautiful landscaping work first hand. In the end, it turns out they gave me a great deal and upon completion I probably would have had to pay much more for similar quality work from another company. I had an ugly wooden deck that I wanted removed, and they had that torn out and replaced with a beautiful patio in less than 3 days. Other companies said 1-2 weeks and Pro-Loc was able to complete it in less than half that time minimizing any noise and road inconvenience to my neighbours. I was home during most of the job and as such, was able to make some important changes to my design during the building process which Alex accommodated at a very reasonable cost. The before and after shots shows how much of a difference stone patio can make to opening a back yard and Pro-loc did an excellent job, very quickly at a very reasonable price. Alex and Bill drew upon their years and years of experience to make some great design and colour recommendations that worked out perfectly for us. I have been getting compliments all the time on how beautiful my patio looks and couldn’t be more satisfied. I highly recommend Pro-Loc for your landscaping needs.

Interlock
We are extremely pleased with work Alex, Billy and crew did at our home. They had a crew of 6-8 guys at site everyday and completed the work ahead of schedule. Alex called several times as the job progressed to make sure the smallest details were looked after. They were respectful of neighbors property and cleaned up at job end. There was never any hassle with minor changes once they were underway. I have no hesitation recommending Pro-Loc. Thanks for a great job guys!
