Dan and the DTM team took a tiny, outdated bathroom and turned it into a larger, modern bathroom. Dan runs a well oiled machine. Everything was done on time, on budget and to the highest standards. Could not be happier with Dan and the outcome.

Dan and the DTM team just finished a big kitchen reno for us. We were blown away as were all of our neighbours, family and friends. We can't believe it's the same space. We went from older and dated to "Designer" kitchen. The quality of Dan's work is top notch, perfect (we are very picky so for us to call it "perfect" really says a lot) and Dan is very creative. As an example we had 2 different hardwood floors from the hall and dining room entering our kitchen. He managed to save the hardwood from the area where our peninsula went and re-used it in the transition area so it looks PERFECT - and at no extra cost to us. Dan and his team were professional, friendly and respectful to our family, pets and home. They always showed up when they said would and left their work area clean every night. Perfect quality work done on time and on budget. We would highly recommend Dan and the DTM team to anyone without hesitation.

Dan and team are excellent! From the time I called him to him coming out to quote, Dan was very personable, professional and so knowledgable. What was a very stressful unknown for us, to him was easy. He came in exactly when he said he would, brought all the materials and got started right away. He gave us a time frame in advance and finished earlier. I am so so happy with the end result, I highly recommend DTM - great job guys!

DTM recently completed a bathroom renovation for me. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company. I was very pleased with the quality of the work. Dan and his crew started the job on time, finished on time, and the job came in on budget. Dan was very easy to work with, and went the extra mile to ensure I was pleased. Dan made a few suggestions which were helpful and improved the overall look of the bathroom. Overall extremely pleased with DTM Construction.

We have lived in our mid-town home for almost 20 years and resisted doing a Kitchen reno because of the perceived pain and suffering. Working with the DTM team was my dream come true. Dan had great design ideas from the outset, and we worked together to get the most from my budget. Whenever I expressed concerns or had questions, Dan and his guys had solutions. They showed up on time, finished on time and left my house spotless every evening. Their workmanship is superb, attention to detail is impeccable and they aim to please in every area. As others have said - Dan takes a personal interest and his attitude is refreshing. My new kitchen is gorgeous and I have already recommended him and his team to friends and colleagues.

We hired Dan to renovate our basement after it flooded in the storm of 2012. Dan was a great contractor! He started the job when he said he would. The quality of his work was of high quality as we would expect. He and his crew were neat, friendly and easy to have around. We were so pleased with the work that a few months later, we asked him to come back and relocate and create a new laundry space for us. The space he was given in our old house had it's issues and limitations. He successfully problem solved for these issues and created a beautiful laundry space that exceeded our expectations. We would hire him again for future renovations and would not hesitate to recommend him.

What we appreciated most about working with Dan Shallow on a basement renovation was how he made it so easy for us to deal with him and his DTM Construction team. He had the ability to keep us happy all through the project, and deliver the expected results and then some, very close to budget. The three most important things to me about a contractor are attitude, attitude and attitude. Dan’s attitude is “what can I do to solve this problem for you? What are your expectations? We bought an older home and wanted to do some major upgrades before we moved in: paint the entire house, redo most of the electrical wiring and change the fixtures, put in new hardwood floors throughout, redo a bathroom, install a new banister and railing and a few other smaller items. Dan was great! From the first meeting with him I knew we were in good hands. He took the time to explain everything that we needed to have done to meet our goals and the different price points for the different options/finishes. (He also He did an incredible job of sticking to the budget we had set and the quote he provided us. He was also able to deliver the completed project on time. As we only had a few weeks between when we took ownership of the home and when we had to move in, it was crucial that he organize all of the trades people to coordinate their efforts and achieve the results in a short period of time. Despite a few surprises our house had along the way-he delivered everything as promised. Dan was very easy to work with along the journey and he made sure we were happy with all of the results. We couldnt be happier with the outstanding quality of his work and would recommend him to anyone without hesitation. We also have and will continue to engage his services for other projects as they come up.

We bought a 12 yo house and Dan and his crew fixed all the key issues raised by the home inspector. They did a complete master bathroom reno, back to the studs and also bullt a fantastic 500 sq ft plus deck, replacing an old flagstone patio and decrepit pergola. All the work was done to an excellent standard , on time and within budget. Would recommend Dan to anyone as a really first class craftsman, also the people he uses are terrific. Importantly, they also did a good job of cleaning up after themselves.
