    Condo & Building Inspection

    Chris at Haystack Inspections is awesome. He fit us in for an inspection the next day. He was professional and did an amazing job of informing us on the home before we made our purchase. We received a 55 page report on the home after the inspection and Chis sat down with us at the end of the inspection and went over his findings. He also pointed out numerous safety concerns for us to look at since we have 3 children. We are so glad we went with Chris and feel we made a better informed decision to purchase our new home. I will recommend him to all my family and friends and will for sure use him again in the future. Wayne

    Home inspection

    Chris inspected a home we had an offer on. He was amazing, nothing was missed, and he let us tag along through the entire inspection. His report after was very detailed and helpful. I would recommend him 110%!

    home inspection

    We HIGHLY recommend Chris Thompson at Haystack Home Inspection to take care of your home inspection needs. We are first time home buyers which entailed a lot of stressful situations. With Chris’ mastery of his craft, knowledge and thoroughness, he removed a lot of the burdens off our shoulder. He covered all the bases (from crawl space to skylight) He also answered all the questions we asked him. His detailed, easy to read and very thorough report was received in less than a day. We ended up purchasing the house after a little re-negotiation about a couple of items that came out from the report. Home inspection is one of the most important variable when buying a house. You want to get the best person for the job. Chris is your man!

    Home inspection

    We needed a home inspection within the week, and after seeing the reviews on this site I had decided to try Chris from Haystack Home Inspections. The inspection was fantastic! I followed Chris around all day with my dad and wife asking him questions about all the items he was pointing out. He was happy to answer all of our questions throughout the day, giving us an excellent summary of everything to be aware of. Chris later provided us the report by email that is full of pictures and detailed descriptions with suggestions. I was not expecting such a complete and detailed report, and I must admit to having shown it off to friends and family boasting about how excellent a job Chris had done. Chris has made it very clear that we can call him in the future with any questions about our house or his report. He has even called to follow up with us if we ended up purchasing the house and to wish us his congratulations. Thank you Chris!

When you ask questions you get to know your property better and that is the whole purpose of an inspection.     Home Inspection

    I work in commercial construction however residential construction is not my strongpoint. I needed to hire someone with the technical ability and knowledge to give me solid information on my biggest investment. If your looking to hire a home inspector I highly recommend Chris Thompson as he is very thorough and will give you the information you need on your investment.

    inspection

    Chris was able to fit us in on short notice and still had our report to us early the next morning. He took the time to walk us around the entire place both inside and outside to show us first hand the issues we were dealing with. Having a home inspection was the best money we had ever spent. Chris saved us from purchasing a home which looked fine at first but was riddled with more issues than we were willing to take on. Since we are continuing our search we will be calling you again soon Chris!

    Home Inspection

    We needed a home inspection on short notice and our realtors highly recommended Chris from Haystack Home Inspections. Chris was more than willing to complete an inspection for us with only a few hours notice (on a long weekend, no less)! Very kind of him to squeeze us in. The inspection itself was impeccable and very thorough. At the end, Chris provided an excellent summary of his findings, starting with major/deal-breaker items. After that, Chris walked us from room to room and went through all of the minor issues with the property. Later in the day Chris sent us a report that provides a written summary of the inspection. This report was packed with pictures, which is definitely a strength of Chris’s work. Perhaps most importantly is that we really got the sense that Chris was sincerely concerned with helping us make a correct and informed decision about the property we were considering. Chris was more than happy to talk further about the inspection when we called him a couple days later to ask a few more questions. The cherry on top was when Chris sent us an email to check in and see if we had ended up purchasing the place. The fact that Chris remembered when we were making our offer and was willing to take time out of his day to check in to see how things had went really spoke volumes about how considerate and thoughtful he is. If you need a home inspector, look no further than Chris. We would strongly recommend him to anyone.

    Home Inspection

    We were very much happy about the Chris's inspection and his report. It was very clear and tips to help. Its definitely useful report to get the things sorted out. I would highly recommend Chris and his company.

    Pre-purchase home inspection

    We were very happy with the home inspection conducted by Chris at Haystack Home Inspections. Despite the miserably rainy day, Chris did a very thorough inspection and took the time to explain everything well when he was done. His written report was also detailed and provided a great reference for us when deciding which reno projects to tackle first. He was very pleasant to work with and happy to answer questions.     Home Inspection

    We hired chris on recommendation from our realtors to do a home inspection at a house in surrey. He is obviously very experienced, and his goal is to inform you of the ins and outs of your prospective property. His inspection was very thorough and I must say his written report is the best you can get with details of everything about the house which can help you in making an informed decision about the prospective property. Home inspections can be overwhelming, but Chris really helped us understand, invited us to ask questions, did not make us feel stupid, and took his time with us to explain whole report.
