    Combi-boiler installation

    A large part of why I went with Tempasure is Len, who spent a lot of time on the phone with me (more than one call) going over the installation, the choice of boiler, extending the life of the boiler, etc.. I felt after our conversations - and after reading the many glowing reviews - that if something went wrong, he'd be there to take care of it. The guys who did the actual installation were friendly and hard-working, and when they hit a couple snags in the exterior ducting they walked me through it, and while I was a little alarmed at some of the (de)construction that needed to be done, they cleaned up and repaired it. I hadn't understood that there was a whole other element to this boiler that I didn't have with the previous one, which involved a separate machine which pumps out the water condensation from the boiler (at least I think that's what it does.) That required drywalling after the installation, which is a separate cost ( Len had mentioned the drywalling, what I don't recall is whether this extra machine was mentioned.) I mention it just so that you know you might end up with one more element than you expect. Len takes pride in his work and his word and I have spoken with him since posting my initial review; I have since edited the review and rating.

In regards to the thermostat, like you said above we spoke at great length. At that time, I advised you that it is not a good idea to use a smart (programable) thermostat on this type of (boiler) system. You then explained to me what you wanted to use it for and therefore I understood and was working with you to get this done. I explained at that same time that you would require an electrician to do some wiring work in order for us to install the smart thermostat you wanted installed. The thermostat that we installed was just for now - it was only a temporary as your current thermostat wasn't working. It was installed for the time being so your heat would be working properly until you were able to get the electrician in to do the wiring that your home requires for the thermostat you wanted to use. Once that was completed, and you purchased your programmable thermostat, we were going to come back to connect it for you. This of course was included in the installation of the entire job you hired us to do. I have been available every time you have reached out. As for the condensate pump all high efficiency appliances produce water and we have to remove that condensation mechanically unless there is a floor drain close by - this is standard.     Furnance fix

    When our furnace broke, Len didn't hesitate to come take a look after-hours. He was upfront with all possible costs to fix it, and ordered the part and installed as soon as possible. He offered to lend us space heaters until we had heat again, and after fixing the furnace he followed up to make sure everything was good, and that we were happy with the result.

    Furnace Replacement

    Len and his team were great...as always. We have multiple properties and Tempasure handles all our HVAC needs. Trustworthy and dependable...always happy to deal with Tempasure.

    Gas line for stove and dryer

    The Tempasure team was very professional and a pleasure to work with. The quote details were sent to us very quickly and our questions were answered with the same speed. The technician did a beautiful job with the lines and dryer vent. We are very pleased with our interaction with the team as well as the service, and would highly recommend Tempasure.

    Replace water heater tank

    We were very pleased with our decision of calling on Tempasure to replace our water heater tank. Their rating on HomeStars was excellent and Len was ready to come to our house to sort out what we needed. Then Adam came to install the heater. He did a very good and clean job. He answered all our questions and more. We highly recommend Tempasure.

    Furnace replacement

    I want to thank Len for his excellent service. My new furnace is nice and quiet and I am warm. Adam did an absolutely stellar job - he came up with an innovative solution to a difficult problem - I couldn't believe it. He was amazing. And he worked straight through. Everything was left neat and tidy. I definitely recommend this service to others.

    Furnace and Water Heater replacements.

    Len and his team did a great job from first contact to implementation. Our furnace had died and Len returned our call immediately. We had also been thinking about replacing our old water tank with a tankless water heater and Len suggested we get an energy audit of our home to take advantage of any rebates that might be available since we were going to replace two items prior to purchasing anything. It was great advice. The team came twice to the house to ensure they knew our layout and needs to recommend the best equipment to install, showed up on the day on time and professionally deployed our new furnace and tank. Both work like a charm. Thanks Len and Adam!

    Fixing a broken A/C & Furnace

    VERY impressed and so thankful for Tempasure!! I had been dealing with a dysfunctional A/C / Furnace for almost a year; 5 different companies previously could not figure out what the problem was and I was about to buy a whole new unit out of pure frustration. As a last ditch effort I posted on Homestars and Tempasure was the only company to respond to my plea. They diagnosed the problem on a Monday and had everything working back to 100% by Thursday. Great customer service in an industry severely lacking in customer service skills!! I will be recommending their services to anyone needing work done!!

    New Furnace and Air Conditioner

    Very pleased with the service from everyone at Temp-a-sure. Len was very helpful outlining the options and giving his recommendations. I am confident the American Standard products we went with are the right choice; finally a whisper quiet furnace! Adam and Anthony easily completed the installation of both units on the day, despite having to fix some awful plenum and ducting work done by previous trades. They were friendly and knowledgeable, didn't at all mind me hanging around answering my questions, took care to protect our home and cleaned up everything afterwards. I was especially impressed they took extra time and materials to change the routing of the gas pipe to make everything neater and more compact. I didn't ask for this and would not have faulted them if they had not done it, but I can tell Adam does things as if it were his own home. Thanks again to everyone at Temp-a-sure.
