    Furnace replacement

    My furnace was red tagged and the gas was shut off on the coldest day in December. Len showed up that night with heaters in tow. They were fully booked for the next day so I waited 2 days to have the work done. Adam showed up between 9-10am as scheduled. The furnace was suppose to arrive between the same hours but the delivery arrived at 715am! Adam rolled out floor mats and wore boot covers which was appreciated. Adam was polite and efficient, and was able to explain what failed on my old furnace. Adam even took out my furnace humidifier that I no longer wanted. The entire job took about 4.5hrs. Len followed up after the job was done to ensure satisfaction and clarified an issue with parts. I would use them again if need be.

    Furnace Replacement

    Our furnace stopped working and searched HomeStars for reputable repair/replacement contractors. After reading the positive reviews for Temp-a-sure, I sent an email to the contractor at midnight. By 7am the next morning I received a text from Len (owner) at Temp-a-sure noting that he would call me within the hour. Our phone conversation was brief and he gave me the standard costing for inspection and ballpark costs for repair or replacement. Before noon that same day Len was at my home and he provided his opinion. Not once did I feel like he was trying to sell me something that I didn't need and ultimately the choice was mine to repair or replace. In addition, I had a few questions with regards to a few things in furnace room (e.g., Cap on a Pipe, Cap on Drain Pipe). Len said that since the issues were small, he would fix them without an additional costs. I also had a question regarding the code for an orphaned hot water tank and the required diameter for the chimney liner. Len called his technician and Adam confirmed that my chimney liner was to current code. After deciding to install a new furnace, Len arranged for the delivery for the next morning (1 hour window). Deliver arrived earlier than expected, but I was home so it was not an issue. The following morning (2 days after Len's initial assessment) Adam came to install the unit. He arrived at 8:45am and was out of the house at 1:45pm (5 hours). Adam was very professional, courteous and patient. For example, I have a small children and Adam he made sure he closed the safety gate each time he went downstairs. As other reviewers have commented, Adam ensures that he cleans up (e.g., sweeps) before leaving. He also took time explaining everything he has done (inside and outside of the house) and answers any questions. Adam also noted that my Humidifier was disconnected and was missing a Humidistat. He assured me that he would speak with Len and that they would arrange of a time to complete the job (even though this was not in their original scope of work). I have used HomeStar for other work in my house. Temp-a-sure exceeds all other service suppliers that I have worked with. Other Things to Interest: Primary furnace supplier is American Standard Does not accept Credit Card payment Invoice provided in PDF format Full payment due at the time of installation 5 year labour warranty 10 year parts warranty

    Furnace, Humidifier, Hepa Filter Maintenance

    Very professional, highly responsive, and downright honest. A pleasure to work with in an industry where I was getting used to being neglected and taken advantage of. Go Len! Highly recommend, loves his work, passionate about helping people, patience to answer all my questions.

    Replaced Furnace - 80,000 BTU American Standard/Trane

    No Heat. Carrier furnace went into shut down mode. The heat ex-changer failed. Len was quick to come to the home and diagnose the failure. A replacement furnace was required..lasted only 19 years. New furnace was delivered and installed the next evening. No issues with the the installation by Adam. He was efficient, very professional, and left the job site spotless. He showed me the reason for the failure and explained in great detail what had gone wrong over time. Very happy with the result but the inflexibility on the price prevented me from rating 5's

    New boiler installation

    We had a new boiler installed recently by TEMPASURE as our old boiler failed to work. Technicians were nice and professional. We are very pleased with their hard work to complete the installation. The new system is working as expected: quietly and beautifully ! Thank you Len

    Heating needed fixing

    Our heating broke and Tempasure came right away and fixed our heating. While waiting for a special part that needed to be ordered they lent us space heaters and then came back right away to fix it. We are very grateful!

    New furnace

    Great job! From the initial service call to the installation of a new furnace, everything was done timely. The installation was clean and neat with very curteous staff. Would highly recommend for any heating or cooling issues.

    Furnace installation

    The team at TEMPASURE was prompt, professional, polite and very neat. My install was done on time with no issues. When our furnace went down, we had space heaters loaned to us while we waited. The entire process was amazing. Thanks TEMPASURE!

    Furnace had stopped working

    I chose Tempasure based on Homestars reviews and was not disappointed. My furnace stopped working on Sunday and I called Len at Tempasure Monday morning at 8am. He got right back to me and we agreed he would come at lunchtime. Len arrived on time and diagnosed the issue rapidly and expertly. He called to get a part and headed out to get it. He returned with the part and installed it in no time. I really liked dealing with Len - he made it easy and enjoyable. I would recommend him to anyone looking for furnace work.

    Furnace repair

    Len (the owner/operator) was very courteous and responsive to the service call. It was clear he was a professional and never did I feel he was there to sell me something I didn't need. He diagnosed the problem very quickly. He went through the whole process of the repair and even showed me extra readings about my furnace (which allowed me to make my own decisions about its future) to make sure I knew what was going on. I appreciated that. Pricing was good and he explained precisely what he was charging me for and why. In my case, a part didn't work properly ... so he tried very hard to systematically find various solutions. When those didn't work, he came promptly back the next day to finish the job, with the exact part he needed and nothing extra. I would definitely recommend him for my next repair (which I hope doesn't happen!!) or any future replacement work. Good experience overall for his quick service and knowledgeable work.
