    Backwater Valve Installation and Repairs

    I used these guys to install a backwater valve and to make some repairs to the sewer line. It was a pretty big job in my opinion but they made it look easy. The crew came in on time, installed all of the equipment with a very minimum of interruption to service and cleaned up the property like nothing ever happened. They even filled out all of the paperwork for a rebate with the city. They obviously know what they are doing and make it look easy. I recommended this company to my neighbours and they received the same level of service and satisfaction. Would not hesitate to use them again for any other job.

    Fixed leak

    Excellent initial consultation with Valentin. Careful COVID-19 prevention measures. Thorough and knowledgeable explanation of all options. Provided a quote that did not change throughout the entire process. Scheduled an installation appointment few days later. Valentin arrived on at the day and time as promised. He was professional and skilled. Cleaned up the bathroom when he was done - everything was meticulous. Again, professional in all aspects. Would hire again in a minute.

    Plumbing and waterproofing

    I first found this company after a flood in my basement. Carl Came to my house with his camera and Kindly showed me the condition of my pipes and what was happening. He walked me through what needed to be done in a way I could understand. The company did a back flow valve for me and waterproofing. The crew were VERY professional and hard working. Cleaned everything up and actually left me a few rocks they dug up as a piece of artwork under my eavestrough Which helped it drain better. Thank you thank you thank you. After their hard work they recommended their plumber Borys.... Borys came in and installed a sink (very small one which I know would have been hard to work in). He also did a toilet and plugged some plumbing which was not currently being used. His work was immaculate!!! A year later as in yesterday I had him take out a very heavy double concrete laundry tub, repair an exhaust pipe and add a laundry drain. He broke the tub up for me I was going to help him carry it out, he wouldn’t have it. He is such a gentleman and a pleasure to be around as well as great plumber.     Great job!

    Val came to our house promptly and did a great job of repairing our tub faucet. He was very knowledgeable and recommended not to replace our current faucet as he was able to repair it. As a result, he saved us money and the faucet works better than ever! We would highly recommend!

    Awesome Job

    We had the front of our house waterproofed in 48 hours!!! When these guys left it looked like they were never there. Our bushes and AC were all back in their original place. Digging, parging, membrane, sump pump, all done with extra care and respect for the property...AND really nice guys. Highly recommended.

    This Company Does Everything Right

    After suffering through many years of very old, poorly-flushing toilets that frequently clogged, we finally decided to replace them with newer and less water-wasting toilets. I had used Canada Waterproofers before with great results, so I called Borys to come install two new toilets for us. Borys picked up the new toilets we ordered from Home Depot, removed the old ones, installed the new ones, and took the old toilets to the curb for us. He also separated the tank and the bowl on the old ones, as per the city's bylaw for pickup. I made all this sound pretty straightforward, but it wasn't. One of the toilets turned out to have such rusty screws that Borys had to cut through the metal and break up the toilet in order to remove it. It was a big and difficult job, but he succeeded. He also cleaned up everything after. I should note that Borys was also very careful to wear a mask inside the house, and was courteous and professional in every way. If you need plumbing done, I can confidently say you will not regret choosing Canada Waterproofers.

    Waterproofing

    I had hired another company which took off without finishing the work and left my house in a very bad condition. Then I saw that Canada Waterproofers was recommended by the BBB so I called them. Slava came to our house, inspect it, described what he would do and put in on a paper. He requested the locates and right away his workers came everyday until the job was completed. These gentlemen always kept us informed and took care of not damaging anything in the property. I recommend them 100%: good work, good price and very kind people.

    Waterproofing

    A very professional and caring team. I had Slava perform waterproofing around the entire property. The items that stood out were the following: 1. Timeliness - the team always showed up early 2. Integrity - The team took progress photos and sent them to me. They also explained every step of the process and welcomed questions. 3. Present - When they said they were going to be on site on a certain day, they were there the full day and every day after until completion. They focused on this job only instead of working on many jobs simultaneously (as many other contractors do) 4. Clean - the team made sure to keep the location site plus neighbouring sites clean while working and also when they finished 5. Post support - they came back on site to help clean up the wires and flooring once the renovation contractors finished their work. They were good, honest, hardworking people and I would recommend them for future jobs.

    Discharge line for sump pump

    Borys from Canada Waterproofers arrived on time, was very professional, and went the extra mile to get the job done, including heading out to pick up the right part and returning just so he could get the job done for us right away given our timeline. A real professional!
