I contacted them and an appointment was made the next week. They arrived at the time given. The windows, hinges, and hardware were replaced and they did it very efficiently, paying attention to detail. Very pleased with the end result. Would have no problem referring them.

Distinctive Glass Inserts installed tempered and frosted glass and wrought iron in 2 side lights for our side door. We had concerns that existing glass panel would leave us vulnerable to a break-in. The product was manufactured in the timeframe that was promised (4 weeks) and the install work was done professionally by Grayson and his team. We are fully satisfied with his work and would recommend him to others contemplating a similar job.

After an exhaustive search, I contacted Grayson at Distinctive Glass Inserts to replace my front door glass. We did this for more privacy for our front entrance and the existing glass was outdated and covered only half of our door. Grayson and his team were able to quote and install new full door glass inserts at a fraction of the cost versus replacing the entire door system to gain a similar look and quality. Had a wonderful experience with Distinctive Glass Inserts. Our two glass doors and sidelite were very outdated. Rather than opting to replace the doors entirely, we figured this was a more cost effective way of modernizing our home's appearance. The owner Graycon was so pleasant to deal with and our new glass inserts look amazing and have completely transformed the look of our doors. They even changed our locks and hinges to more modern stainless steel ones. I highly recommend this company to anyone in the GTA looking for glass or wrought iron door inserts!

After a lot of research and getting quotes from friends for numerous (recommended) contractors, we decided to go with Grayson/DGI. We were blown away by the number of positive comments on Homestars. His pricing was fair and he carried some designs which none of the other folks had. We were very impressed with his timely responses and the commitment to deadline. Grayson was very professional and polite and he was able to answer all our questions and address our concerns. Our job was a bit custom and he helped us decide on the right design. Just after the install, we found a long scratch on the bottom of the glass insert and he right away said to hold the payment until he changes the glass within the next few days. As expected, he came within the next few days and changed the glass at no extra cost. This is testament to his professionalism and care he has for his clients. The inserts look amazing, the job was clean and we have had lot of people ask us about them. We will recommend Grayson 2000% to anyone & everyone. Wish all contractors were like him.

At first I was hesitant to deal with another contractor. We had problems last year with a fence contractor taking our money and not showing up. That had left a sour taste in our mouths. But my brother had contacted and used Distinctive Glass Inserts in July and they had done a good job and were efficient. Grayson was very quick to respond to emails, listened to what I wanted for my front door and was very accommodating to meet. He said he would meet at a certain time and he kept to his promise, even arriving a little bit earlier. When he ordered the inserts, one had to be custom-made, so he was honest with the timing it could take. His timing was quick, arriving earlier than he quoted and he contacted me as soon as it came in. His workers arrived ahead of schedule on the day of installation and were very polite, worked quickly, quietly and cleaned up after. I am very impressed with the work done. Friends and families have been commenting on the style and the look of our front door in the past month since we got the inserts installed.
