    Window screen replacement

    John knew exactly what we needed. He was on time, efficient, perfect workmanship, and, a very pleasant personality. The price was exactly as quoted. We recommend John and Doctor Screen without hesitation. Thank you!

    Screen door replacement

    Dr. Screen was recommended to us by someone else on Homestars. John was great! Came when he said, right on time, measured, showed us a sample of what he would do, gave us an estimate and waited to here from us. When we called he said 2-3 weeks and it was here and installed by then. Wonderful service, thanks John.

    Not impressed at all

    Called Bill in July to have 4 basement screens replaced and a patio door. Had to wait til October because of a back order on the colour (beige/tan - didn't think it was a rare colour but according to Bill it was. Ok so on to the install, to me it seemed like Bill didn't know what he was doing. He struggled to make and install the screens. Made a lot of noise installing the one screen and later found out why, he damaged the bottom trim on of the windows (see picture). I'm assuming he had to pry off the bottom trim in order to make the screen fit. Also the one blind he removed had dirt marks on them (again see picture). Not a word from Bill about the damage he caused when he left. My fault for not inspecting the work in detail before he left. I will never use them again. Had a few neighbours ask about the work since they saw his truck and I said I do not recommend them at all.

    Good morning Mar, I have contacted Bill and he was unaware you were unhappy with the repair. I can confirm that custom doors can take up to 8 weeks depending on colours and time of year. These are exact fitting so need to be done precisely. As for the basement windows, there are sometimes challenges fitting in older frames that may have shifted or shrunk making it difficult to duplicate. Of course some styles can also be obsolete and Bill is very good at modifying so it may have appeared he was struggling but again these need to be custom built on site. You should be hearing from him shortly to make sure you are completely happy. Thanks for letting us know!

    patio screen replaced

    David quoted a price on the phone and then mitigated any more damage to the 30 year old patio door and expertly and professionally replaced the screen. Thanks David for being fair and honest.

    John is a perfectionist!

    I had a fabulous experience with John Archer at Dr. Screen. John replaced my patio screen door as the old screen door was giving me issues. John was very knowledgeable and caring while installing the new screen. He made sure to reinstall the track in order for the door to slide smoothly and perfectly fit into place. John’s personal customer service is the best I have experienced. He had a caring approach and was a true professional while answering my questions. I highly recommend John at Dr. Screen as he truly gets the job done right!

    John Archer looked after us and did a great job!

    Our screen door wasn't sliding properly, was ripped and we hadn't used it for over a year. John was so professional and courteous! In this day and age it is hard to find a pleasant person who fixes the job right. We are so pleased with Doctor Screen and John and would highly recommend them. John did a wonderful job.     Patio Screen Door

    Great work completed by Dan and Adam! With kids running in and out, the patio screen separated from the frame. I had it repaired by a the door manufacturer twice only to have the screen get loose again! This time I called the best! Dan and Adam came earlier this summer and I am extremely pleased with the quality of their work and their efficiency. I am happy to report that even with heavy traffic, the screen is in place! Thank you both so much!

    window screen

    We had windows replaced years ago and didn't get a screen for one window (long story). John came and created the screen from scratch in less than half an hour and installed it no trouble. He was friendly, efficient and really fast. I highly recommend this company

    Window screens and patio door

    John Archer came right at the agreed time. He worked quickly and efficiently. He took apart my patio doors ( not an easy task!) and reinstalled the repaired sliding screen door. It opened and closed smoothly which it hadn’t done in many years! John completed the job in under an hour and was pleasant and courteous at all times. Donna

    Patio Door Screen Replacement

    Contacted Doctor Screen for an appointment and they were able to come the same week. My screen was between two glass doors so wasn't the easiest job to do, but John was fantastic and was able to complete the entire job without too much problem. Would highly recommend this company!
