While we try and meet all customers expectations, clearly you were not pleased with the result. I have every confidence that the service provided was both fair and well done as you have not noted any actual deficiency in the work. You scheduled an appointment with us a week prior to the date of the service call at which time you provided me with your address. When I arrived on site and at our initial meeting your comment was “ I wasn’t sure you were coming today”- so clearly you were aware of the appointment. As for the work completed at your request- we did indeed modify 8 old screens as per your instructions. Each of the screens needed to be taken apart, cut down by hand, re-assembled with new spline and pull tabs added- 2 on each screen , again at your request. We provided this service on site at your residence, and completed the work in about one and a half hours. You were charged for a service call and a flat rate of $25 for 7 screens, the first screen modified was included in the service call fee. On average and before taxes, you paid LESS THAN $35 for each screen- which is excellent value considering the work and materials involved in modifying each of the 8 old screens. If it is a display of incompetence to ask questions of the customer to ensure there is a clear understanding of the scope of the work and the expected outcome then we are guilty as charged, You clearly did not want our input into the best way to modify your screens for a proper fit. We did return your call regarding the invoice but could not get past the litany of threats and insults you berated us with- similar to the ones you continue to use in your Homestars review. Doctor Screen invests heavily in training, superior products, materials and equipment in order to provide exceptional customer service. This is evidenced by the many 10/10 reviews we have earned. While your review is a disappointment, it does not accurately reflect the exceptional value you received for on site, professional service that on average, cost you less than $35 per screen. Indeed- many future customers will likely read this exchange and see the value proposition Doctor Screen offers in the market and call us for service.
