    Installation of two doors and five windows

    From Colin the salesman to the installers, we found them honest, very knowledgable, accommodating and paid great attention to detail. We were very happy, we would recommend them to anyone.

    Stay away. Botched contract, incompetent and bad faith dealings.

    After weeks of delays in getting the installation, we discovered they incorrrectly translated their own estimate notes and ordered from the manufacture the wrong windows. This was discovered when I noted them trying to install a clear glass insert in a bathroom window that needed frosted glass. I stopped the work and spoke to management. We came to agreement they could finish the install for the one window they started and they would order the right windows and replace the incorrect one once the new one came in. At some point they changed their mind arguing they did what the contract said dismising their error by stating we should have made the corrections to the contract ourselves. Months of back and forth, and some rather questionable conduct on their part, they have refused to return the replaced window, which had frosted glass; refused to refund money for the other window not installed; and we are left with a clear glass window in a bathroom that faces the street. They have stopped returning my calls.

    I would like to clarify that William M. is not our customer. He's purchased a home from one of our customers. We've honored our contract as per our agreement with the original owner. Unfortunately Mr William M has communicated with us that he's not satisfied with what was ordered. We did try to accommodate him and offered to do the changes that he requested at a reasonable cost. In the beginning of our communication with Mr William M, he was prepared to take on any financial costs that there would be to do the changes. He just wanted the changes done. After us sending one of our consultants to visit him and go over the contract he refused to pay for anything. He just demanded that the changes be made. Again we've mentioned that we would be more than happy to have him as a customer and make any changes that he wanted, however that we were no longer prepared to discuss the matter of our contract with the previous owner. We suggested that whatever information he wanted pertaining to our contract with the previous owner be between them. We've tried numerous times to come to an agreement with Mr William M. however after numerous conversations, the end result was always that he did not feel that he should pay for any change. We informed him that if and when he would want to do any replacement of his windows that all he would have to do is contact us and we'd be more than happy to accommodate his needs again at a reasonable cost. Customer service is very important to us. We always try to do our best in having our existing and potential customers satisfied.

    Windows and Doors replacement (12 windows and 2 doors)

    Big City Windows & Doors completed a 12 window, a patio door and main door replacement at my home in October 2019. I had received 5 quotes previously from various window replacement companies until I met Big City’s salesperson Igor Rabotnik and I am so happy that I met him. Igor is a competent, honest and true professional who provided fantastic recommendations for the doors and windows that I would be purchasing and even invited me to the showroom to demo what I would be getting. Big City’s price also beat all of the 5 previous quotes. I am extremely pleased with the look and the quality of the products and the professional quality of the installation which was done. The windows and doors were of various size and types and they have brightened up my hallway and foyer with the new main door. I would personally like to thank the employees Valery (the workhorse and master craftsman), Igor, Gena, and Sergey for the work they did on the A+ installation, especially on the inside trim and outside flashing. They were extremely polite, knowledgeable, very professional, and provided excellent workmanship. They take pride in what they do. They did a great cleanup of the windows, doors, the roof, and the rooms of the home before they left. They were at my home for three days. After my installation, I invited my neighbours into my home and they were so impressed that I recommended the consultant Igor to them and they also purchased new windows. I am 100% satisfied, the windows and doors look great, and I will definitely recommend this company wholeheartedly to anyone based on my experience with them.     We are very pleased with Big City.

    Igor was honest and informative for the initial purchase--3 windows--and Andrei and Vlad were skillful and hard-working with the installation. No issues at all. We recommend Big City based on our very positive experience with product and service.

    Fantastic and Reliable Service

    The Big City Windows team were a pleasure to deal with from the start to the end of the entire process. They are professional, reliable, and patient at answering questions. The window quality was great and the prices were very competitive to all other quotes we received. Overall we are very pleased with the service we received and will definitely be in touch with Andrei and Vlad when we are ready for our next renovations project.

    Replacement of 3 windows

    Excellent service. Very nice people. Installers did a very good job. They were careful and very clean. I would recommend this company anytime. And the price is good. If we need to replace more windows we will use them again.

    I am very pleased with my new Big City Windows!

    I had my kitchen and bedroom windows installed by Big City Windows in 2016, and has just done the rest, including patio door and a wall-sized windows in the living room. They have brightened up my hallway by adding a new window in the very tricky spot in hallway. The installers are real craftsmen, very hardworking, they’ve laboured over every detail. After the installation I recommended the Big City Windows to my Boss, who is updating her cottage. I would recommend Big City Windows to anyone who is looking for quality at a good price.

    Late delivery. No explanation

    Big City was very friendly and responsive while I was shopping around. Now that they have my deposit and are late on delivery, I can't get them to return calls or reply to emails. Disappointed in the service now.

    Replacement front door

    I had my front door replaced by Denis and his crew on Tuesday June 4. It was a fast and efficient job - great care was taken and Denis took the time to make sure everything worked as it should. The team was friendly and professional and cleaned up after the job. Thank you!
