Jafar did good job but he just didnt care about any returning business. I called him to install 2 ceiling lights. He told me his minimum charge is $200. And I told him then I may need him to check some other lights in the house after installing. He came on the second morning, successfully installed 2 lights. And we noticed there was 2 pot lights not working properly. He helped to fixed as well. In the end he charged me $300 in total. The price is much higher than market price. It is obviously he doesnt want any return business from current customers.

I had a short circuit in basement pot lights. I thought it was the switch and since I saw a spark from there but replacing that did not work. Called Jafar to trouble shoot the problem and I was glad I did because he found the short in one of the pot lights and revealed that another was close to failing. He came back 2 days later and replaced all my pot lights with new LED pot lights. The old ones had been problematic for a while so happy to have the new energy efficient lights.

Very pleased and highly recommend Peel Electric. Jafar was prompt to reply to my request for service and he even came on a Sunday. Quickly identified and fixed the problem.

An outlet stopped working and a light would not turn on. I had checked the breaker which appeared OK. Jafar arrived as scheduled and troubleshooted both problems and repaired them within an hour.

We had strange electrical problems occurring. Lights dimming, appliances dropping in power. Then our internet and cable tv started acting up. Called Rogers. Tech repaired melted cable at street box, then tested ground and found electrical current running through water pipes and cable coax cables. Said we needed an electrician to look into it. Called Peel Electrical based on positive reviews. Jafar came the next day and based on what was happening he seemed to know immediately what the problem was. Inspected the main electrical panel and found the main 100A breaker had a hot spot. He called the electrical utility to turn off the power to house so he could replace the breaker. He waited until they came, they turned off the power and he replaced the breaker. The utility found they had an open neutral in our line from the street. They put a temporary box in place to provide the neutral path and will come next week to locate the problem area and repair it. After his service call we found that our a/c was not working and it turned out the lack of a neutral path had damaged the transformer in the hvac system. Another costly repair (lesson learned: pay attention promptly to dimming lights, especially if it occurs in multiple circuits of the house). All in all, Jafar was prompt and knew his stuff. Could have been a much more dangerous situation if not remedied quickly. Really appreciated his help with this!

Hired Jafar to upgrade the electrical panel and upgrade the service to 200 Amp We communicated over the phone at first and then by text message. I sent photos of our old panel and service line. Within minutes I received an estimate. Once i gave him the go ahead, he applied for the permit/ hydro shutdown that same night. Also sent me the confirmation. I appreciated the communication and efficiency. The day of the upgrade. Jafar showed up on time. Completed the job promptly and even added an exterior plug for me. As this was part of a basement reno. He also gave me a few tips and an estimate on my basement wiring. As everyone knows. Its not easy dealing with trades sometimes. It was refreshing to deal with a professional who kept his word. Showed up on time and had good communication. Will hired again when it comes time to wire my basement
