    Attic Insulation

    EcoComfort, was a pleasure to work with, from the prompt quotation from Wojtek, who noticed that our bathroom vents were not vented properly (something others that came to quote did not), showed me what products they would use to Brandon and Paul who came a few weeks later to do the installation and showed me the finished work. Would have been nice to have been shown the insulated ducts for the bathroom vents after they were installed and clean up could have been a bit better. But I would still not hesitate to recommend EcoComfort. Can feel the difference.

    Attic Insulation

    The price was very reasonable, in comparison to another quote that I received. The sales representative who responded to my request for a quote was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. He explained the work and the options very clearly. The crew who did the work were prompt, friendly and professional. They explained the work, cleaned up beautifully, and showed me the finished product. The company then followed up with a printed invoice detailing the work done, and an inquiry to ensure that we were satisfied. I would not hesitate to recommend EcoComfort Insulation. Tremendous value. Well worth getting the job done right.

    Attic Insulation

    I have to say for the first time in a very long time I got my monies worth and more! Professional workmanship! I recommended them to 7 other people and all are more then happy with the job. You cannot go wrong with this company!

    Attic insulation

    Excellent service! Quick response to my request . Provided clear and detailed information of the work being done. Professional and considerate of my home. Work is neat and finished. Cleaned up thoroughly. I'm very satisfied with this company and highly recommend.

    Attic insulation top-up with cellulose. Also re-routing of 2 bathroom exhaust fan vents from the soffits to the roof.

    My attic insulation (fiberglass wool) was severely compressed due to the installation of a 2nd floor ceiling A/C system. In most places the rafters were visible (so < 4" of insulation). I decided to go with a top-up of cellulose for a rating of R65+ (over 18" deep) as we are enrolled in the Home Energy Audit program and hoping that new windows, air sealing and attic insulation will get us the rebate. After hearing the EcoComfort add in 680 News and calling around, I found the EcoComfort quote to be in line with most other companies and they seemed like the only ones who would do some roof work I also required. I scheduled some quotation appointments and found the EcoComfort representative (Wojtek) to be the most thorough when answering all my questions. I had the best "comfort level" with EcoComfort so went with them. The EcoComfort crew was on time (even 10 minutes early) and were not phased by what I knew would be a difficult installation given a relatively low-pitched roof and all the flex lines running all over the place from the attic-hung A/C unit. Having installed 2 new bathroom exhaust fans near the perimeter of the roof I knew how brutal it was to literally crawl around up there. After apologizing to the crew in advance for what they were going to have to deal with, they set to work and did a great job. They installed a lot of extra baffles around the perimeter to increase airflow and put some depth markers around the attic to show how deep the insulation is--helpful to me and the Home Energy Audit inspector to come. Looking at the work upon completion it looked thorough, at or above the desired depth, and had good coverage. The insulated 4" flex ducts to the roof vents were secured with hose clamps (nice secure touch). Finally, they brought to my attention that one of my existing roof vents was not properly overlapping the plywood nor surrounded properly by shingles so there was an exposed gap! After showing me pictures on his cell phone he offered to fix it free of charge with a spare shingle he had in the truck. Great service!

    Roof insulation

    Highly professional and efficient job. The insulation is effective and was quickly installed. The cost was commensurate with competitors. All around pleasant experience. I would use them again without hesitation.

    Attic Insulation

    We had gotten a few quotes from various companies to insulate our attic. We were most comfortable with the knowledge, cost and - stated "work to be completed" of ecocomfort. We receive the original quote in May 2017 (R60 blown in cellulose top-up package) and they honoured it when I called them back to have the work completed in September. The two gentlemen (Tom and partner) who did the work were real pros. They took their time to assess the work and had an unexpected issue with one of the attic hatches (they rebuilt both of them) but they stayed and worked as long as necessary....was after 9pm when finished. Great cleanup. Everything from the quote, to setting up the appointment, to dealing with the unexpected, to clarity of what we're paying for to the actual work being performed and completed was top notch. No hassles or anything. They were also the most competitive price-wise. Very satisfied. Highly recommended.

    Attic insulation with baffles installation

    Patrick and the rest of the crew did an awesome job. They took their time to answer all my questions to make sure I was aware of the entire process and invited me to check and inspect the work before and after. Truly a professional team. Highly recommend them!
