    Windows and trim

My wife and I selected Windowrama to replace the last original window in our home. It was very easy to obtain an estimate from Paul, and his crew arrived on time to conduct the installation. The installation went very well. They successfully removed the original window and replaced it with the new one. They also did a great job of removing the waste and cleaning up after the installation. Paul called a few days after the install to make sure that I was still satisfied. This is customer service I wish I could find in other providers! I would recommend them to other Homestars members. We are delighted with our new windows! They seal extremely well and the house is much quieter as well. We were amazed at how they were able to put in the new windows without damaging the existing trim and walls around the windows - excellent workmanship. The combination of good price, quality materials, fine workmanship, and great value is terrific. We recommend Windowrama to everyone without reservation.

    windows & doors

Paul and Alexy of Windowrama were just wonderful...answering all my questions addressing all my fears .... They were professional yet took their time to make me completely comfortable with my choices and their suggestions. The installation was clean...fast actually a pleasant experience. Over before I knew it...The crew handling the installations were two gentlemen who worked hard and cleaned up after everything was done. They took great care in their work and in protecting furniture and carpet etc... I simply love my new windows and doors...so pleased with the whole process....I still have more work to do and absolutely plan to call them back to do the rest. I highly suggest this company you will not be disappointed.

    window replacement

The installers came out and told me what to expect. They didn't play around. They were here on time, did the job well, were very professional and had me check out their work at the end. I was very happy through the process. The window looks pretty darn close to the old windows in terms of matching the wood we had. The 8 windows we had installed (6 triple pane and 2 double pane) seem to have made a difference thus far. It's not cold in that room. Time will tell if that fixes the issue but I think it has. These guys are A+ grade to work with. I will definitely use them again when I do our next windows next spring. I haven't dealt with a company from the time I met them to the time the service ended that was more pleasant. I even had a follow up call from Paul the owner to check in. Very impressed.

    windows

We had six windows replaced in the front of our home. The openings are very large. The original windows were casement and I wanted to keep the look of the house but use sliders instead of casements. WindowRama by Paul handled 3 different manufacturers of windows but only one made windows large enough to fill our needs. Since the Window that would fit was also the least expensive of the three, we were a little hesitant but the salesperson and the owner assured us we were getting a very good window, we decided to have them installed. The installers were very professional and the windows look very nice. We also wanted the wood on the outside covered all the way to the brick of the house in order that we have no painting to do in the future.. The salesperson said they cover the brick mold so we thought that meant all of the wood would be covered. When the installer started, I made it clear that all of the wood was to be covered and learned that the "brick mold" didn't include all of the wood. The salesman came out and we agreed that we would pay for the extra product necessary and they would cover the installation. This was a situation where each of us thought we were clear and were not. I feel it was handled fairly. We had already replaced the windows on the backside of our home with a different company. We were satisfied with the windows but felt they were very expensive and that is why we looked to Homestars to supply a different option. Our windows front and back look very similar. The amount we saved was significant and we seem to have a quality product.

    Restoration windows

Replaced 16 original wood windows with 16 Sunrise Restorations double hung windows. Windows were white inside and sandstone outside with fiberglass reinforced frames, double pane low E glass and argon filled. The outside colour is coloured vinyl that is fused with the white inside vinyl rather than painted at the factory. They trimmed the outside of windows with matching aluminum coil and caulked. Contoured grids between glass. Also replaced patio door with Masonite fiberglass door with raise/tilt blinds between glass. Our old wood frame windows were from the 1950's when our house was built. They were "double paned" but the outer pane was not sealed and was held on by clips. A past owner had installed aluminum storm windows on the outside which looked bad and were impossible to operate. The wood windows did not seal well. Several had broken counterweight mechanisms and would not stay open. When the bottom sash of the window in our family room fell out at my wife's feet when she tried to open it we decided to replace all the windows with vinyl. We looked at the windows at the Windowrama showroom in Vaughan to get an idea of what the windows would look like. Paul, our salesman, came out to the house and counted and rough measured the windows. He spent a lot of time going over the numerous options for brand of window, colour, type of glass, grids, screens and gave pros and cons for the two higher end lines of vinyl windows they mostly sell: Sunrise Restorations and Windowcity. He was willing to cut us a deal on some of the options on the door because we combined it with the windows. He was slightly "high pressure" as it was the end of the month but he was still very nice to work with. Once we decided on the windows the installer came out and did the final measuring which took ~30 minutes. They estimated 6 weeks for delivery of the windows from the mfg and were right on. The installation took 2 days for the windows and 1/2 day for the door with two installers. The installers are full time employees of Windowrama, and have tons of experience. They are very fast. One installer got stung in the face by a bee and needed first aid. He then just kept right on working!!! Most people would have gone home for the day. Paul stopped by while they were working to check on things. The installers left things clean and left all the original interior trim in place. The new windows fit inside the original frames so we lost an inch on the top and bottom and 1.5 inches on the sides. Since our windows are quite big to start with this is not a problem. The new windows are a breeze to clean, smooth opening, and look great. The door is also a huge improvement over our old wood door. Our house looks much nicer from the outside, and we can see outside so much better.

    Basement windows

Replaced 2 large 48" x 48" basement windows to improve safety and insulation characteristics. Salesman came and discussed options, took measurements provided a precise estimate. After paying one-third deposit, owner, Paul, came and double checked measurements. Windows were installed one month later by company installer, who was professional and exceptionally qualified. I couldn't be more pleased. Windowrama was chosen as a result of high ratings on Homestars.

    windows

We called all the major window companies to come out and give us a quote. Paul came out first and was amazing to work with, he went over all of our options and never pressured us to buy at any time. It really was no pressure. The windows look excellent! The installers were great and did an outstanding job. They took there time to make sure every window was installed right. Once they were finished I had to call Paul and tell him it was everything he said it would be. I love a company that delivers exactly what they say. The decision to go with WindowRama was the right choice and I'm glad that I chose them. I will use WindowRama again in the future.

    2 windows

I was looking for two window replacements and a satisfied customer suggested I see Windowrama. I went to the office/showroom and met with Alexy, a salesman there. He seemed very informed and helpful. I selected Restorations product as being what I wanted to go with. I completed the transaction for two replacement windows and was scheduled, with my agreement, for installation during a week I had some other work being done on the property. Paul was accommodating and talked with the people already working on site to insure no conflicts would occur. On the appointed day, Paul showed up in a Windowrama truck with my two windows. He required about 2.5 hours to complete the job. He was in a race with the weather since rain was moving in but he got the job done just as the rain started. During this he answered my questions about the installation both inside and outside. He also helped in moving some furniture and checked me out on operation of the window. Finally, he cleaned up after he was done. This is a great company in all aspects.

New windows for my rental property

WIndowrama guys, always answered my calls and answered my questions. They did windows for me before, for one of my other rental properties. They have good pricing and products seem to be good quality. The installers came out and took out the old windows on my rental, and put in new windows. They also wrapped additional windows with custom trim. I was very satisfied with their work. I would definitely use this this company again in the future as I have done before.

    Windows

Paul came out for an estimate in August and he was very informative and professional. We liked the windows a lot, but another company told us that the energy efficiency rating would be changing in 2016 and the Okna windows wouldn't be energy efficient by the new rating. I spoke to Paul and he looked into it for me. When we decided to set up the installation with Windowrama, Paul gave us a higher quality, more energy efficient window for the same price as the original estimate. The day of the install was during a week of two heavy rain days. The two men who came to install the windows worked quickly and were polite. We really like the windows and are happy with the quality of the product.
