    Do NOT recommend!

    I am changing my review back to what it was originally - 0 stars!! I only changed it because the office manager Felicia threatened to cancel my order/appt for my fridge repair if I didn't remove my negative review. This company will give you the run around over and over. I had been waiting for a repair since JULY 2023, and only now, January 2024 has it been repaired. Only because I was pushy and kept them accountable. If I could have used an alternate company, I would have but unfortunately Whirlpool had arranged them to come as this repair was under warranty. I'm hoping with the feedback I've provided to Whirlpool they drop this company as they are just awful. The admin staff are rude when trying to inquire whether parts have been ordered or arrived, and then when trying to book the actual appt. They will intentionally try to inconvenience you and will force you to take an entire day off work to be "available". I took an entire day off work, and the tech showed up at 6:10pm - hours late, with no communication to let me know. I was initially given the window of between 2:00pm-4:00pm and only when I called to ask where the tech was, he called. This company will not apologize or take accountability for issues they make so save yourself the headache. Do yourself a favor, and do NOT use this company.

    Gas range

    I had a problem with my gas range and Y2K called me regarding my gas range they said to me that they would someone out and it would cost 100 dollars for the visit and 40 minutes of that hour would go towards the initial repair. The guy came out he was here maybe 5 minutes he said he new what the problem was he went on hos phone he said he found the part on amazon it be here on monday and he would come out on tuesday and he would charge me 30 dollars to install it and he left. Tuesday cam by and they never came out so I called them and they said they. haven't got the worl order they would call me when the part was in so they can schedule the repair. 2 week's go by and still nothing. I called them every 2 or 3 days for updates they kept on telling me they haven't ordered the part yet . I called them on the 3rd week i asked for my refund and they said no I paid someone else and they fixed right away I called them on the 4th week and the part was still mot ordered so i said give me my money back and they said no the money was for service call. I told them the guy was only here for 5 minutes I am really disappointed in this company would never recommend them to any one. They are a bunch of lairs.

    Refrigerator

    Worst for customer service! Technician damaged our floor and claimed it was done before he arrived. Had to have fridge fixed 2x within a 3 month time frame. Service calls booked to repair and no one would show up. Whirlpool uses this company for their warranty work so if we could we would NEVER use them again.

    Double billed and company has refused to credit

    We were very pleased with the serviceman--he was prompt, courteous, and did excellent work. HOWEVER, we discovered on our next credit card statement that we had been double charged for this May 16, 2022 service call. Despite contacting Y2K three times in the past six weeks and being promised a refund, none was ever received. We have turned this dispute over to the credit card issuer.

    Horrible experience

    If I had the ability to rate this company a 0 I would, unfortunately I cannot. I first reached out to this company in December, 2020. I just needed the oven itself repaired as the stove-top worked just fine. I had the tech come out fairly quickly which gave me good faith in the company. The part was ordered and I thought it was going to be fast tracked. How wrong I was. The next time the tech was to come out and install the part the tech never showed up. I had to take the day off work. I reached out the following day and they scheduled a new time (they didn't even contact me about it, I had to contact them). The tech then came and realized they ordered the wrong part for the oven. So I had to wait another few weeks. They then get the "correct" part for the oven so I schedule another booking for it. The tech once again DOESN'T SHOW UP. I again have to reach out to them to get him to come again. They then come and the part they install doesn't fix the issue. They then tell me it's "another" part that is needed to fix it. At this point in time it's February 2021. They then "order" then part. Skip forward to May 2021. Up to this point I asked for a update every week and just heard from them "We'll update you soon with the part when we get it". To remind you once again, this is 3 months. 3 months of zero indication of when the part is going to come. I then FINALLY after much frustration hear from their Account Manager. Magically all the sudden they have the part! Wow, what a shock. Earlier in the month I decided to reach out to another company to fix the issue and they had the part and would be here in the same week (how odd). All in all, I was told I was going to get a refund for the part they installed I never got that refund and after today they ensured me I wouldn't be. So to review here: - Tech didn't show up 2 times (having to miss work) - Incorrect part was ordered - No response for 3 months on the "new part". - They magically have it after I vent my frustration. I'm now out roughly $500 or so from this company. I would avoid at ALL costs. Can't believe they'd managed to stay in business this long. Absolute joke.

    Oven Door Repair

    My Dacor oven hinges needed replacing as one of the springs had snapped. The two technicians arrived and replace them both; great service and very knowledgeable! Prompt and courteous service!

    Rude, Dismissive and Condescending Tech

    This is the appliance company that was sent out by the large Appliance Company that my appliances were purchased through. The tech was not only dismissive of my concerns, but was rude and extremely condescending. My visit ended with him storming out of my house and telling me he wouldn't ever be coming back. At least we agree on one thing - I will never allow another tech from that company into my home to treat me poorly and not do anything to fix the problems they were sent to fix. Absolutely despicable service.

    Appliance repair

    Our bar and wine fridge stopped working and Appliance Tech Y2K came to inspect unit on the same day contact was made. Communication was easy and they contacted manufacturer - unit will be replaced through warranty coverage. Great service!

    Warranty KitchenAid Frig

    Appliance Tech Y2K was assigned to me by Kithenaid for warranty work on my refrigerator. Brandon arrived at our house on time. He was very careful when bringing in his tools and parts into the home. He used booties to cover his shoes and mats to place his tools on. He proceeded with his work in a professional manner. He was very polite and easy to talk to. Great job!

    Fix no drain issue in kitchenaid dishwasher

    Removed plug in drain tube, created a syphone loop, solved no drain issue. technician appears knowledgeable and friendly.
