My husband and I used Flat Rate Relocation for a slightly complicated multi-stage move from Portland, Oregon to Gabriola Island, BC. We had our house packed into storage in Portland by a local company, went to Canada to find a place to live, and then asked Flat Rate Relocation to move everything from the storage facility to our new home several months later. They stayed in touch during the months from our original conversation to our actual move date and Leo was always available to answer questions, provide clarification, and set up the details of the international move. They provided the paperwork and guidance in advance to make sure that the border crossing would go smoothly. On the actual weekend of the move, Sef and his team did a great job. They coordinated meeting times for pick-up, border crossing, and delivery across three consecutive days, were right on time, and maintained great attitudes in spite of some long days of work and travel. They were extraordinarily careful, handling some antiques and fragile items with great care. Through out the process, Flat Rate exhibited knowledge and experience to ensure that the potentially stressful move went without a hitch. We absolutely plan to use them again.
