The team did a great job and were very professional. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the job done in one day and the professionalism of the team. I would recommend them and use them again!

Wow!! A small army came to our house and it took over. Kim and I had discussed all the 'ins and outs' of the process. But I was impressed with everything: the politeness of the crew, the respect for our newly installed hardwood floors, thorough clean up, and most of all the quality and expertise of the actual painting and preparation. They even peeped and corrected areas that had not been discussed nor noted in our contract. We will definitely call them to wow us again for painting our first floor. Did I mention that they were done in a day!!! WOW

Fantastic team to work with. Lighting caused a few issues in executing the work but the company was responsive and remedied the small details immediately. Best paint company I have ever dealt with!

Kim came out to provide a quote on my home and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was extremely detailed in his quote as to ensure all items on my wish list were covered and even helped me in choosing my paint colours! Candace and her team were super stars and I am beyond thrilled with their work. They were extremely professional and tidy and I HIGHLY recommend them!

I got my house painted green with this company. They worked hard and did well in their painting. The colour on the walls turned out to look the way I wanted it to. I would recommend this company.

Kim & crew were amazing. Professional quote. On-time when promised. Good and clear communication. Straightforward honest work. FAST! One day in and out. Quote was HIGHLY detailed. Reco's and options were provided. We painted our basement walls, ceiling, trim and doors and hallway down to the basement. We wanted our old crusty brick fireplace painted, and Kim's team knew how to take care of that. Its hard to do. He reco'd painted the ceiling, we complied. We also had the back porch painted. There was a mess-up with the paint color, and Kim himself came back TWICE to paint it the right color. That is some dedication to customer satisfaction. Top notch. Will use him again!

This review is for Wow1Day painting (York/Durham). They were recommended by a friend who had them paint the interior of his house. My job involved exterior painting around perimeter of the roof line. This included prepping and painting all wood fascia and siding. I compared Wow1Day to other painting companies with good ratings on Homestars. They were one of 3 companies I decided to get quotes from. If you call the main number they will route your request to the appropriate franchise depending on where you live. Kim is the owner for my area but Doug was the manager that came to give me the quote. Doug was punctual and very responsive by email or phone from the time he reviewed what I wanted to get done to the day of the job. The quote was competitive to the other companies I had checked but one of the reasons I chose them was the open communication. Doug entertained all options that I was considering which changed the scope of the work quite a few times and he was patient with my requests. He revised the quotes quickly and made suggestions along the way. Initially I was concerned about the quality of the work as Doug confirmed that the work would be completed in one day while other companies needed more time. But I was assured they guaranteed their product and my friend only had good things to say about them. On the day of the job Candice and Chris arrived to do the work. They were on time, organized and did a fantastic job. What impressed me the most was their attention to detail and the pride they took in their work. They stayed until the paint job was done right and made sure that the finished product look good. They also enjoyed what they were doing which was notable. I would not hesitate to recommend Wow1Day York/Durham. I do not know about the other locations but Kim's crew is awesome.

WOW! Yes, that word perfectly describes how Big Brothers Big Sisters of York feels after we experienced the wonderful and philanthropic paint brushes and upbeat attitudes of the WOW team! Kim and his awesome painters wanted to GIVE BACK to their community. Knowing that there was a need for the their talent, but uncertain of where to start, they reached out to Aurora’s Mayor Dawes for guidance. And that is where our wonderful WOW story began! Big Brothers Big Sisters of York is a not for profit organization that is in the business of mentoring children and youth through the support of some very incredible volunteers. We are a national organization that has been hard at work for over 100 years, and although our office is not as old as that, our walls were certainly tired and drab. They did very little to reflect the upbeat, and positive message we want to convey to our clients and our volunteers. They do now!!!!! We are thrilled to have a beautiful interview room, a conference room, and an activity room, with walls that delightfully shout ‘hello and welcome’. We even have a bright and happy bathroom! As thrilled as we were with our new look, the greatest gift from WOW was Kim’s humbling and overwhelming offer to paint several rooms in the home of one of our clients. It is truly difficult to speak of this heartwarming gesture without tearing up. The expectations that one would have of a painting company entering a place of business or home, were delivered. The WOW team, was prompt, their communication was solid, and they were kind, and courteous. At every turn they were professional. They were patient, and understanding, with great team spirit and a wonderful, collective sense of humour. They had a desire to make some magic happen for our clients and for our place of work. They far surpassed our expectations.
