    Sump pump replacement

    I had a very good experience with Darin 1 Plumber. During a recent winter rainstorm, our sump pump broke and water was slowly coming into the basement from the overflowing sump tank. I contacted Pavlo at around 9:00pm, and he dispatched his team and within about an hour and a half, they had arrived and installed a new sump pump, which solved the problem. Pavlo was very professional and courteous to deal with, and provided a detailed explanation of the issues based on my explanation and photos that I texted him. Fair rates and pricing, especially considering the time of day and relative urgency of the situation. I would definitely recommend Drain 1 Plumber.

    Rough in completion and leak repair

    Paul and his team are the plumbers I should have hired from the jump. Paul and his team came in and fixed all the leaks and completed the work to meet all code requirements. Paul is knowledgeable, patient (in explaining all the work completed), transparent and fair. Workmanship is top notch. I'm looking forward to working with Paul and his team again in the near future.

    Repair of broken pipe connection

    We had a break in the connection of two pipes in our basement. The pipes feed hot water in portions of the upper floors of our house. Paul arrived, thinking that this sounded like an easy repair, but when he saw the position (connection burried deep in a tight spot on the ceiling), he realized he couldn't repair it immediately. He devised a plan to detour around the tight spot and arranged for two other plumbers to arrive within a few hours. They completed the work quickly and all is well.

    Backwater Valve, Sump Pump, Replacement of Clay Pipes, Interior Waterproofing

    Pavlo and his team did an amazing, efficient and very professional job at our house. It was an excellent experience doing business with Drain 1 company. Our house was going through a lot of pluming upgrades. Prior to proceeding with such big job, we had many different quotes and assessments. Drain1 gave us the best, most professional presentation with a very good quote. Such big job was done in less then 3 days. We were really impressed by the speed and professionalism of the team. Thank you Pavlo and the team. We would definitely recommend Drain1 Plumbers and will keep in touch for future plumbing upgrades.

    Excellent and fast service

    Paul called and quickly schedule an appointment. Rob showed up on time, and resolved my slow sink drain in just a few minutes. Both of them were great and super easy to work with. I'll definitely be using them again in the future. Thanks guys!

    Tree roots in sewage pipes

    Pavlo was very upfront, courteous, and professional from the start. Quickly identified the issue and even provided advice on some unrelated house issues; he really knows his stuff! He explained what he was doing and why every step of the way, showed and walked us through the issue, and was very detailed in his recommendations and next steps to prevent the issue in the future. Pavlo and his team did an amazing job repairing the issue and were very fast and efficient (even though they were working outside in freezing weather), fixing the issue in no time. Pavlo even swung by to fix a bunch of miscellaneous plumbing issues free of charge (some of which were caused by a terrible job by other plumbers - who even charged more than Pavlo's rates!). He is truly a Master Plumber.

    Suck pump & back up

    Pay and his team, did very efficient and professional job. They upgraded the suck up pump in the basement. They did very neat job and also make the pump work efficiently than the old one. The back up water valve was put outside which released the headache due to blockage if city sewer.

    Drain

    Whenever we flushed the upper toilet the basement toilet would overflow. I had two blockages in the main drain, the slope for the basement washroom was in the opposite direction of the main. The washroom plumbing was not to code. Pavio came promptly and showed me the roots in the two locations of the drain pipe. He came with his two crew members early in the morning. It was after they dug ,that other problems revealed itself. They fixed the problems and updated my plumbing without extra charge. Thanks for setting up my new toilet. Everything was communicated while the work took place. I am very happy with the excellent service.

    Repair of two burst/cracked pipes

    Drain 1 arrived promptly and quickly took care of our two pipes - both of which had frozen during the recent freeze in Toronto. They were professional, courteous and efficient. I recommend their service!

    Hot water tank installation repair.

    Repaired faulty work from original installation. Explained the problem clearly. Answered my questions respectfully and fully. Courteous, prompt and excellent communication throughout. Even when languag a challenge there is someone on the line to clarify. Very responsible and smart! The best I've had after 30 years in Toronto.
