Stone Contractors laid a flagstone walkway and a brick retaining wall for us. Carlo was a very hands-on manager from design through day-to-day construction. Their work was meticulous and the craftsmanship was excellent. We couldn’t be happier with the finished product.

Carlo and his team did a great job on our front steps. So good that our next door neighbours hired him too. 6 months later and we’re still very happy. Work was completed on time and on budget. The work site was left tidy every night. What was a crumbling, old mess of concrete is now beautiful stone steps. We’re very pleased.

Carlos and his team did a terrific job on my stairs. His quote was competitive and the work was done meticulously. Carlos kept in touch via email and was very pleasant throughout. I have already recommended him to some of my neighbors.

Carlo and his team did an amazing job! They replaced my concrete porch and steps with beautiful natural stone. The guys arrived early in the morning, didn’t leave until after 6 every night and left the site clean every day. They worked really hard and it showed. I highly recommend this company as they not only met, they exceeded my expectations!

Very Disappointed, On an existing driveway power washing , replace polymeric Sand and seal the first day the driveway looked amazing did not stay like this , in couple days the sealant was missing In many area of the stones . On the new section of the driveway that they did half of the stones are white same problem the sealant not there . Came back did second coat , again the same problem and getting worst now the polymeric sand is loose between stone and cracking job was done 2 months plus . Nothing but problems, many excuses weather too hot drive way dirty etc. Last communication July 9 Carlos said next week no show send messages no answer. I just need the job to done right , would I recommend this company NO unless they right all the problems permanently and not a quick fix . UPDATE: Carlos has communicated with me and has stared to fix the problems , and has assured me that it would look and stay the same way as the first day that the did job was done . He was prompt and to his word on time and day.

Stone contractor group, owned and run by Carlo, was the best decision we made when picking a contractor to fix our front patio and stairs. His staff work like dogs in the 35-38 degree weather we have been having. They showed up every morning promptly at 8 am and worked till 5 for 2 weeks. They had to rip out all the old concrete which had disintegrated because it was the wrong type and re-form add footings which were not there to begin with and pour a new fountain. There was constant communication with us to ensure we were happy and every night they cleaned up like no one was ever there working. His guys Tony and Marcelo were a pleasure to have around working, very good natured and respectful. I can’t say enough about how impressed I was with there work, especially since I am a Electrican by trade myself seeing another contractor work like this was impressive. We hired Stone Contractors for repair and maintenance work on our natural stone wall in the garden. Carlos and his crew were reliable and a pleasure to work with. The repairs were needed because of the impact of four seasons on these structures...things shift and move! However, if we had hired SCG do the original stonework, my guess is we would not have needed any repair work . Hire a real stone specialist and get it right the first time.

Carlo is very professional and he has completed his work way beyond my expectation. This is a condo town house managed by board and condo corporation. We had limited options to start this job(only 1 quote/way beyond the budget), before someone get hurt we must start and complete this job. Due to the urgency through homestarts I found, contacted this company. Soon after my call Carlo came and gave us a good quote with 10 years of warranty with valid details. To start the project he should have paid 25% payment but Carlo realized the importance of having these steps (elderly person lives in this house/he said he does not allow his mom to walk on these steps) and started his work and completed on time. He was on the site every day/ he did not pass it to subcontractors/ on schedule. He started, completed and kept the confirmed quality and finish of the work. As stated this is condo town house/ projects were done at premium price/some times the quality was poor. When a project comes many people (some from board/and corporations) involve in making decision/choosing contractors. Some of the people did not like giving project for a new contractors like Carlo due to various reasons (specially Carlo did it for half a price of regular contractor quote / double the time of warranty with insurance) and those people ensures that this contractor have hard time in this project. I have noticed that quality of the work monitored and inspected frequently, payments process not followed as per the contract, miscommunication , etc.. and I felt bad Carlo to put in to this situation. Some times Carlo got bit annoyed but he would have understood what was going on and he met all the request came from the board/Corporation. I may not call again Carlo till I stay in my current town house as I do not want him to go through an another difficult time , but I have no hesitation to recommend them for any step work. Quality, cost and on schedule- primary factors and Carlo and the team shown in this project. On behalf of the unit owner and some good people on board I would like to thank this company for completing the job way beyond our expectations.

This is the second time I hired Carlo for stone repair and, once again, I am 100% satisfied! Carlo and his crew are polite, professional, reliable and extremely knowledgeable about masonry work and restoration. Water had been leaking into my garage, causing damage to the ceiling and walls. Carlo was able to determine the cause of the problem (which other companies were not able to do!) and repaired it in a timely manner. No need to look any further for a contractor to repair or replace stone work - hire Carlo and you won't be disappointed!

Carlos and his crew came in November to replace the stone on my porch with new stone put down correctly, the first try at it wasn't done properly and the cement underneath the stones had disintegrated leaving the stones loose. Him and his team replaced the 20 or so stones with larger stone to the point there are now only 10 stones on top. I would recommend his company, it may take time for him to start but once there they had it done in around 3 days and left the job site very clean.
