    Flagstone wall replacement and repair

    After an enormous Silver Maple Tree was removed by the City I needed to replace and repair the flagstone supporting wall that had been damaged. After clearing the soil, it was found that the tree’s root had grown and doubled back into the wall. Stone Contractors Group worked carefully and with persistence to remove the root to allow them to construct a new wall. The weather was not cooperating, but they prepared and protected the landscape to return the next day. -8 degrees C and 13 cm of snow later these skillful contractors created my new wall. I recommend highly recommend their work.

    Replace Front Steps-Excellent Work

    Carlo and his team are very professional and take great pride in their work. Carlo was invaluable in terms of choosing the colour and type of stone used.They always showed up on time and left the site clean and safe each day. It was a pleasure dealing with them and I highly recommend this company.

    Great experience rebuilding concrete steps and stonework

    Our front steps were in terrible shaped and began to crack. We hired Carlo to remove the existing steps (two sets), rebuild both sets of stairs in concrete and cover the stairs and the porch with stone. They did a great job. The crew was diligent, talented and respectful. The work was done thoroughly and the team cleaned the site daily. They were also punctual. The quality of the work was fantastic and we were thrilled with how it turns out. We have more work to do on some retaining walls and walkway. We will definitely be calling Carlo for that job!

    Front Stairs and Railing Restoration

    We hired Carlo to do a restoration on our front steps and railing, both of which had been re-done and installed over 20 years ago. Carlo assessed the scope of the job and gave me a fair price in comparison to other quotes I had received. Once the work was started, Carlo and his team worked professionally, diligently and efficiently. They were friendly and took great care in respecting our neighbours' adjacent properties. Their daily clean-up was meticulous. Carlo attended to any problems that may have arisen during the job and made sure things were made right and to our satisfaction. He goes the extra mile and he was very kind in doing a few extras that we had not originally requested. The workmanship and final outcome were of high quality and excellence. Neighbours and passersby admire the work that was done and the look of our home. We have received many compliments. Carlo knows what he is doing and it shows in his work. We are extremely pleased.     Brick wirk

    The side of our garage was smashed in from a truck. Very worried about it looking repaired and the bricks being different. Carlo and his crew gave me quote. Explained exactly what he was going to do. He searched and found matching bricks as my house is old. They know what they are doing. Very professional. They work with integrity and that is so important. They were on time. Left everything clean. Definitely a company you can trust. Your house is your biggest investment and knowing you can trust a company is important.

    Front pathway massonery replacement.

    Flagstone Stair Repair

    I hired Carlo to advise me on how to deal with my 30-year old crumbling flagstone steps. I received other quotes and different options (including replacing the entire stairway!) but Carlo quickly differentiated himself from the other contractors I spoke to. His knowledge, professionalism and sound advice convinced me he was the best choice. Carlo and his crew were punctual, reliable, respectful and, most importantly, highly skilled at working with stone. I was most impressed that even after the work was completed and paid for, Carlo promptly responded to my request that he return to address a very minor matter.     Front Porch Restoration

    We've hired Carlo to do the restoration of our house front porch and the stairs which was damaged badly. Very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism and we would highly recommend him and his team for the workmanship equal to or above the government standard specifications, very reasonable cost, Flexible schedule to suit the “critical path” method of excellent workmanship of the finish product, maintaining site clean up on a regular basis – excellent! , Warranty labor and materials to five years period, prompt and being friendly and quite knowledgeable crew members of Tony and Julie. Also, he promptly responds to our requests and honest. Thanks so much, Carlo and the team for such a great work!! Last but not the least, Carlo’s ingenuity to come up with the most critical method of the two existing brick column support system had been quite unique, marvelous and excellent especially despite the prevailing extreme heavy windy weather conditions.     Random Cut Flagstone Walkway

    I'm a tough critic with high standards. I've had quite a bit of work done to my house over the past year but no one impressed me as much as Carlo. He is extremely knowledgable, experienced and goes over and above to ensure that his work is done to the highest standard. He even worked overtime to finish the job quickly for my daughter's first birthday (and even bought her a gift!). I've hired him back to do work on my backyard and recommend him to all of my friends / neighbours.

    Repairs to Stonework

    We are very pleased with major repairs to our granite steps, retaining walls and walkways. Stone Contractors Group were reasonably priced for the work needed. They never cut corners and were hard working. The contract was clear. Communication was very good. The work was completed within the promised time frame. They removed our railings and replaced them afterwards which was a cost saving. The work team were experienced, pleasant and always cleaned up at the end of the day. We are pleased to recommend them. Our neighbours admire the work.
