Main shut off valve.
I contacted Serhiy on the late night of New Years Eve and he came in first thing in the morning. He gave me a quote better than other big companies. He was polite and explained me what he was doing and why at all stages of work. He cleaned up after his work. I would recommend him to all my friends.

Fix broken faucet in bathroom
Sergei was terrific. The tub faucet was stuck in the on position. The screw on the handle was torqued and he had to drill it off, replace the cartridge and replace the drilled-out screw. He also used a snake to free up the sink in the bathroom. He did everything quickly and professionally and also very reasonably compared to many other plumbers. I would give Sergei and Tornado my highest rating.

Replaced old clay pipes, with new pvc ones and installed a back flow valve.
Sergei was great. He came exactly when he said he would. Annualized the problem provided a quote. Came and did the work immediately and was professional did a great job. They dug up the front of my lawn and replaced the old pipes and drains. They found solutions to problems on the way and completed the work in a timely manor. I will fully recommend this company. They were on time efficient nice to work with and did a great job! Thanks again. M

Services sump pump and clean sump pump pit.
Job provided estimate on arrival and costs were exactly as quoted. Serviceman took care to ensure that there were no spills in disposing of wastewater.

Drain Line Replacement and Backwater Shutoff Valve Installation
In early November 2018 we had some water coming up from the drain pipe in the basement. We had one firm recommended to us and we had them come by and run a camera into the drain pipe to take a look and see what was going on. It was deduced that the drain pipe had collapsed (original clay plumbing with roots taking over) and that the real only solution would be to replace the plumbing out to the city line. This recommended company gave us a quote without taking a single measurement. The quote seemed on the high side so out of due diligence we got the number for Tornado Plumbing. Our friends had used Tornado Plumbing a few weeks prior to do some interior plumbing work. Sergey (Owner of Tornado Plumbing) came by and provided a diagnosis which was the same as the first firm that came by. Sergey took measurements, asked questions, took notes, probed further here and there and then provided some options along with quotes. The quote was substantially lower than the original quote. I mean, shockingly lower. Add on the fact the Sergey actually spent some time diagnosing as well as conversing with us about the costs, the rebates available from the city of Toronto along with what the work will entail. I was and am blown away at the care and attention to detail that Sergey and team showed. They performed the work as promised. Cleaned up the area as promised. Provided the paper work and advice as promised. You would barely know that they had a dug a trench outside of the house and dug a hole inside of the house. I will wholeheartedly recommend using Tornado Plumbing for any future work. I will go so far as to say that they will be the only plumbing company that we will use in the future. They care about the work and the satisfying the client AND they are more than reasonably priced. Great job guys thanks for your hard work!!

Plumbing, back water valve, sump pump, exterior drain
Within a short amount of time, Sergiy’s team came in and installed a backwater valve, installed a sump pump, and replaced the exterior drain with pipe burst tech. We hired Sergiy because my fiance and I bought a house that is nearly 100 years and we worried about the pipes because of the inspection report that we got when we bought the house. I called over five different plumbers over to check our the property and I am glad that I went ahead with Sergiy at Tornado Plumbing. Sergiy explained how some of the issues that these other plumbers brought up were bs. Also some of the other plumbers were charging 30 percent to 60 percent more. When I called him over for the estimate, he came over on-time and explained why certain items needed to be fixed and what would happen if they weren't. Once Sergiy’s team came in - they came in on time and finished the work within the timelines that Sergiy provided from before. The only thing that slowed them down was waiting for the City Inspector to come and check for the permit. Also since I was at work most of the time, Sergiy would also send me pictures that he took before during and after the installation. He would also send email updates as well of his progress without me even asking for it. Overall it was a pleasure hiring Sergiy because his quote was accurate (e.g never changed), his team came on time, and he finished by the date that he set.

Main drain clay pipe replacement
Needed to get last ten feet of clay pipe of main drain replaced, out to City line. Sergey did the work as promised, as quoted, and with professional demeanour throughout. They showed up as scheduled, finished pretty much on schedule too. The finishing touches (e.g. to the basement, to excavated front lawn area weren't perfect, but still very good, can't really expect much more. Quote was better than a big company's. Was quite happy with them, so in fact ended up booking them for work for another property (yes, unfortunately we needed pipe work, again!)

Hi thank you for the review,we appreciate for your feedback,it's second time we helping you with drain replacement ( before you used another company with much higher price and they are not honest and theirs warranty doesn't work.they charged the money and didn't replace under the porch 10 feet of clay pipe and you got clogged drain with the roots. Our price much reasonable,we charged you for drain replacement,not for interlocking or porch fixing,we put everything back maybe it's not perfectly but we had first snow and -% temperature.it's hard to finish how was before perfectly ,it's exterior work in the bad condition (another company doesn't put interlock back and porch) We appreciate your time,take care easy:) Thanks again Sergey:)

Sewage problem
Very professional, with good after clean up, within tight timelines. Excellent team work and Sergiy showed exceptional leadership and great communication skills. A very good job worth every penny.

We installed back water valve and Sump pump,removed building trap and replaced the sanitary drain with pipe burst technology (with 25 years of warranty!)Also waterproofed the cold room 8 feet exterior for lower price as we charge (because the wall was exposed),passed inspection,helped with paperwork, to get the rebate and even installed laminate back for you.It was our pleasure to help you out, and we were happy to seeing your family back:) thanks again ,Sergey !

Very professional!! Sergie knew his work well. Very clean and on time. They did the job despite the heavy rain. Definitely recommend this company.

Lead Water Supply Line Replacement
We were hoping to get the lead supply line replaced for a while. When we finally decided to go ahead, we checked several plumbers from Homestars. Sergey really seemed the most genuine by far. He was prompt, courteous, and straightforward. He gave an estimate based on his visit and stuck to it even when there were issues that he did not cause. At the end of the job, he took great care to clean up and replant our plants just they way they were before he moved them. I would highly recommend Sergey to friends and family.
