Toilet Leaking through to the kitchen!
My upstairs bathroom toilet was leaking through to the kitchen! I had another plumber come in and two days later, he still hadn't fixed it, my bathroom was a mess and the leak was actually worse! Two days and with a $2000 quote later, he said he wouldn't be able to fix it unless I coordinated a contractor to come in to cut open the ceiling and a kitchen guy remove the cabinets as he wouldn't do that work. I sent him packing and called Tornado plumbing. They came in SAME DAY, with all the tools required, took out the cabinet, cut the dry wall and had everything fixed, put back and cleaned up perfectly within 1.5 hours. They even borrowed my vacuum to clean up the dry wall dust. They were awesome! I wish I had called them first. It's been about a month and everything is still working great, no more leak! 100% would recommend them. I'll never use another plumber again. Yay Tornado!

Sump pump installation
Sump pump was installed satisfactory in May, 2018. Sergey came to do the job estimation, explain the work procedure and current rebate program. The installation was executed in a timely manner. The unexpected footing was discovered under the basement concrete floor, where basin is suppose to sit, the few inches side of the footing was chipped off, to accommodate the basin, the concrete was then poured back around the basin and footing. Yuriy explained how to maintain the sump pump. It would be perfect to have one stop shopping if the company can bundle the electrical wiring service to connect the power to the sump pump.

Sump pump, waterproofing, clean out, backflow valve.
They did great work, very resposive, fair pricing, no games. I will call them again.

Whole house waterproofing
It was a pleasure dealing with Serhiy and his crew. I easpecially appreciated Serhiy willingness to take his time and walk me through what was going to be done to the house. The crew was professional and the left site clean without any issues. I’d definitely consider them for any future projects.

French drain
We contacted Tornado Plumbing to help us redo our French drain that was way to small for our property. Sergey and his crew arrived when promised and did a wonderful job keeping my property clean of debris. Sergey went above and beyond by helping me ensure we won’t have any issues when the French drain is full or during the winter months. I would happily recommend him to others for their plumbing needs

Foundation crack repair
Can't recommend this company enough. Truly excellent service. Had a small flood in our basement which we figured was a foundation crack. Sergei responded quickly, came over, provided a written estimate and explained the process in easy terms. He is a very courteous and professional individual. He took care of all permits and his crew arrived a few days later. They were amazing, they dug 15' at the side of the house and down. The first day I didn't think they would show up as it was pouring rain and was worried we would have another basement flood. But no, they worked ten hours straight in that rain without complaint to get the job started. Job was finished the next day just after lunch. The estimate was spot on and very reasonable. The crew was so considerate they even replanted my shrubs and power washed my driveway to remove any excess mud that had been tracked from the yard. It was a pleasure to deal with Sergei and his crew.

Replace broken clay drain and installing backfliw backflow preventer
We are extremely pleased with the work done by Tornado Plumbing. We are actually a returning customer as we had a small washroom renovation done earlier this year after moving into our 60 years old home. At that time, we had our bathtub replaced and then later found that the drain was not properly sloped. Tornado Plumbers explained to us well what needed to be done and for a new home owner doing some renovation work ourselves, they are friendly, professional and reliable which gave us the comfort we needed to get the job finished. We hired them for the 2nd time around when we found our basement drain was flooded from doing laundry, which was caused by the broken clay pipe outside. We immediately thought of Tornado to replace the pipe for us but got quotes from other plumbers as well. We again chose Tornado as they are responsive and we know that they are the most honest, humble, down to earth reliable people who would just get the job done well without us worrying. Not only did they dig out and replace the pipe quickly, they also recommended to us the installation of backflow valve and the city rebate. They handled all the paper work and permit for us and it was a much smoother process than We thought. Most importantly, their pricing was exceptionally reasonable and much better than other quotes we got. We would recommend them to anyone we know who wants their plumbing issues dealt with quickly and done well. We are so happy we found them.

Back water valve, sump pump install, clay pipe removal and basement waterproofing.
Sergey and his crew at Tornado Plumbing were courteous, knowledgeable and professional. He came back to the house twice to give an estimate and to answer all my questions. He made sure I felt confident moving forward with the work. The work was thorough and on time. I recommend Tornado Plumbing if you’re looking for trust worthy and top quality work.

Waterproofing 100 year old Victorian house
After some basement renovations of my 100 year old Victorian house I realized I had serious water leakage problems at different locations within the basement. I contacted Tornado Plumbing as per very positive reviews on Homestars to provide an assessment of the work needed. After careful inspection of my house Serghiy (Sergey) provided his assessment where a number of issues were apparent. 1) the whole side of the house next to the neighbours needed to be done, 2) a backyard portion containing interlocking stone needed to be done, 3) a previously installed 0.33 horse power sump pump section needed to be incorporated, and 4) waterproofing of a basement room from the inside as there was an add-on section of the house lacking a foundation was required. Serghiy provided a solution where the whole basement (house) would be waterproofed with surrounding weeping tiles connecting to the previously installed sump pump location with a 0.5 horse power upgraded sump pump. This assessment was similar to another contractor’s proposal however the price was by far more reasonable. The job was completed within record time where they worked on a Saturday – despite finding a 1.5 meter granite rock at the foundation of the house that could not be removed – so that added waterproof lining had to encapsulate the rock. Despite the extra work and material, the quoted price was maintained. The interlocking stone was replaced exactly as it was and the site was cleaned up completely after the work was completed. The result was a very pleased customer who highly recommends Tornado Plumbing.

Exterior Waterproofing
Tornado Plumbing gave us the most reasonable quote for about 35ft of exterior waterproofing, which included three new window wells and concrete filling of the stone foundation, along with the essential sump pump, weeping tile, and a complimentary camera drain inspection. They were quick to respond for quoting and took time to fully explain each step of the waterproofing process. Scheduling of the job was quick and easy. The job was fully completed within 1 week and the site was clean upon completion. We highly recommend their services to anyone with waterproofing needs.
