Basement Renovation (digging, plumbing and drains, waterproofing, sump pump and backwater valve install, cement)
I highly recommend Tornado Plumbing and Drain. The flooring in my basement had started to buckle and a quick look under the boards showed that concrete was breaking up and crumbling. Right from the beginning, Tornado Plumbing was quick to reply to my request for a quote and took the time to explain what they found and what they would recommend, all in a very professional and courteous manner. As the job progressed and the ground was opened up, other issues were discovered (like a collapsed clay pipe leading into my home, leaking occurring near the weeping tile) which hardly comes as a surprise when dealing with a 100+ year old home. Sergey and Yuryi continued to provide fair, no-pressure advice throughout the process, along with photo updates and a chance to see what they found with the scope. While these things are never fun for a homeowner to deal with, their great communication, organization, cleanliness, and friendly customer service style made the very best of an unpleasant situation. They got the jobs done very efficiently (all in a week!), with great workmanship, and at a price that I've confirmed (through chatting with others who had similar work done) was competitive and fair. They even fixed an issue with my toilet for free. As a solo homeowner dealing with a project like this, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. I really appreciated everything Sergey's team did to get the job done right, quickly and fairly. You can work with them with confidence.

pipe burst
Sergey did an amazing job in fixing a pipe that burst from the freezing temperatures. He was prompt in identifying the issue and getting it fixed quickly. He was very respectful in my home and made sure that he was not trampling dirt and snow everywhere. I will very likely use his services in weatherproofing my basement when spring comes and i would highly reccommend his services for anyone that is looking for prompt and quality sevice. Thank you Sergey for your hard work on a day where pipes were bursting all over the city and basements were flooded due to thawing temperatures.

resturant washrooms
Very professional, fast and quality work. Experienced and well equipped. Very happy with everything see the pictures.

Replace outside sewer pipe, install backwater valve.
Excellent work! Very efficient, skilled and professional. Also very knowledgeable about all aspects of plumbing. Sergey was extremely accommodating and went out of his way to attend at our house on short notice in bad weather and late at night with no extra charge. Very reasonable price. Would highly recommend!!

Thank you for your review. It was a challenging project due to many factors. There was an opposite slope on 15 feet of pipe. The back water valve installed on the inside of the house was the wrong type and took away a lot of slope from the line resulting in a poor drainage. So the whole line outside up to the back water valve inside had to be replaced. In this case we could not use the pipe burst technolegy because the slope of the existing pipe had to be relayed. Therefore we had to trench the entire line. As well there was more problems towards the city side so we replaced 10 more feet of pipe free of charge. So at the end everything turned out successful. We installed a proper back water valve on the main line and a couple of other ones on secondary lines,also with out any charge.The job was done not even later! What can we do to get 10* from you ???? Re-route pipes
We had frozen pipes in an exterior wall that had been spray-foamed. We determined that the best course of action were to snip the pipes and re-route new pipes underneath the cabinetry. Yuriy was on-site one day after my call and finished the work with several hours of diligent work. Yuriy was a consummate professional and I was very satisfied that this fix was completed in such an expedited manner. No nonsense.

clogged the sanitary drain, unclogged drain pipe
the sewer water was coning back to our basement...we called the city but they said wasn't on the city property, so my husband called Tornado Plumbing- Sergey. Great job Sergey ! he come and fix the issue in no time, he explained to me what was wrong, etc we are so happy that we can use the toilet again in this freezing temp! thks again Sergey!

Frozen pipes, solved!
Amazing, friendly, professional service. I had frozen pipes and they solved it same day, during a very high call volume. Highly recommend! Thank you again. I have found my new plumber!

Clogged kitchen sink
Sergey and team did a marvelous job of clearing the log and at the same time making improvements on the existing drain pipes. They also charge a very reasonable rate for the type of work done.

Foundation Waterproofing and Sump Pump installation
Tornado plumbing did water proofing for the entire foundation of my back-split house and installed the sump-pump. I happened to be home and monitored them regularly. This was a relatively big job as the perimeter of the foundation is close to 200 linear feet. Tornado plumbing is an amazing crew. Sergey and his team are highly professional. They were prompt and delivered the project within the promised budget and timelines. They performed a high quality work, followed the safety procedures and left the area in very clean state. It was a pleasure to work with Sergey. He is patient, polite and above all he is honest and does not take short-cuts with his work. I would highly recommend Tornado plumbing for any king of work, small or big.

Bathtub installation in a condo
My decision to contact Tornado Plumbing was based on their almost perfect HomeStars score. Sergei arrived promptly and provided a competitive quote. This job needed to be done asap, and Sergei was able to schedule his crew accordingly. Yuriy and Igor arrived as scheduled and worked hard to finish the installation within the allocated time (as per the condo rules). Both of them were knowledgeable, hard working and professional. I would highly recommend Tornado Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs. I will be hiring the company very soon for my vanity installation.
