Contacted Peter to refinish the first floor hardwood floor. Showed up on time and gave us a $1200 estimate which was ok. We agreed on a stain color and 3 clear coats. On the day of, he started the clear coat after the floor was sanded. When asked about the stain, Peter denied that we agreed on a stain and he said it was going to cost approx. $500 more. At that time, we wanted the work done so we paid him the extra $500 and I know that he applied only 2 clear coats, not 3. He was always in a hurry and always showed up late for work except the initial visit, he was on time
