Our project was a full house gut renovation and took about 8 months to complete. Throughout this project, Tony was straightforward, honest, trustworthy, and very thorough. He was very organized and was always quick to respond and did his best to understand us and offered options when surprises came up. He was very responsive (by returning messages quickly), and listened to our concerns. He was also very fair, especially when surprises arose, he didnt charge us more than what material and his labour costs are (eg. added soundproofing subflooring needed). We had many surprises along the project but he was always reassuring to us that there would be a solution. We had to deal with a very difficult City inspector who made surprises to the project and added more stress and delay, but Tony arranged all the inspections with him to meet all those requirements. His team of workers were always on time and hardworking and worked at our project all the way through. Often, we didnt mind buying lunch for them because they worked extremely hard everyday. At the end of each day, the crew removed garbage and cleaned up the work area every day. Tony is very experienced and knowledgeable about building codes (with what worked and didnt work). He is well connected so if he was unsure of something, would consult with other professionals. He dealt with all his subtrades, electrician, HVAC, plumber, insulation, etc. We had a previous contractor who made the front basement concrete stairs difficult to step on and the overhead verandah would be a hazard. Upon his first visit, Tony explained that this would not pass occupancy permit (even though it wasnt his workmanship) and therefore the building permit would not close. He offered to alter the concrete stairs at no cost, because he found it, in his conscience, to be a hazard for future tenants hitting their head. In the end, the concrete stairs redid the stairs extremely well with his hardworking crew, at no charge, to comply with the occupancy code and allowed our permit to close. Overall, Tony is a very honest, organized, experienced professional of high integrity who cares about the quality of his work. It was a pleasure to work with him and his crew as he took a lot of the stress off of us. We highly recommend Tony to anyone who is looking for caring, timely, and reputable contractor. If we could, we would give him more than 10 stars! We definitely look forward to working with him again.

Violet Renovations is an excellent company. This is the second time we have worked with Tony. He is very quick to respond to questions and issues before and during the project. His team are friendly and accommodating when they are working on the job. No complaints at all and in fact, we are scheduling the next reno. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor.

We chose Tony for our work based on 3 main reasons 1) Good track record, 2) Availability- within our time allocation to complete the work, 3) Price- within budget. Tony and his team stood tall in all accounts. Tony runs a professional contracting service and will standby his clients in their needs. Full master renovation that involved removing the tub to make space for a double sink vanity and larger standup shower. Workmanship was excellent, Tony always does great work, has completed numerous projects in my place.

Tony and his crew did an amazing job transforming an uninsulated, dated and deteriorating home into a comfortable, inviting and energy-efficient residence, complete with updated wiring, plumbing and most importantly, foam insulation over standard fibreglass insulation, which he graciously substituted at no additional cost from his quote! Tony was the first of a handful of contractors to reply to my request for a quote, and he was upfront, honest and forthright of what his services could provide. He was always available to answer any questions that I had, even prior to hiring him, and it also helped that I was able to contact his references to make my decision. Tony won my job because he listened to what my needs were and did not try to upsell or make promises that would compromise the structural layout of my home that would incur additional expense; he worked within my budget and did not make promises that he could not fulfill. He also accommodated my need to remain in my home while renovations took place, so that was a bonus that other contractors would not agree to. Also, he and his crew were always respectful, polite and professional in my dealings with them. The crew showed up every day on time and worked very hard and diligently for 2¬ ½ months; Edi did an amazing job from framing the walls to laying a herringbone backsplash in my kitchen – No easy feat for less experienced trades people. What is important to note is that if you are comfortable choosing your own flooring, finishes and colours, Tony has many contacts with whom to choose from, without the need to hire an interior designer. I’m by no means a person who has an eye for design, but I was able to put together a tasteful décor that all the trades people who worked on my home loved. Once the job was finished, any deficiencies were taken care of in a timely manner; no questions asked. The only downside is that the electrical outlet in the bathroom is placed too far from the sink, making it awkward for appliances to plug into and having to place the towel bar higher than it is comfortable for me to reach; these will need to be relocated in the future. Based on the scope of work that was done, renovations done on both the main and second floors, I highly recommend Tony and his crew for your home renovations.

Thank you to Tony and his crew, they did a great job renovating my powder room. The team was efficient and very organized. Everyday they were here by 8am and ensured that every detail was covered. I was working from home and they were quiet and independent. I would hire them again.

Tony, Danny, Paolo and the rest of the crew did an amazing job fixing our plumbing issues and renovating our master bathroom. They were prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and cleaned up everyday. I hired Tony couple of years ago for my basement renovation, he did an excellent job with a very fair price, so I hired him again for the renovation of another property, the result is wonderful and price is unbeatable! for a 2 story house, the total cost was about 40K! I highly recommend Tony and his team, professional, fast, on time and respects his clients wishes.
