Paul was really great to work with, I can be an indecisive person sometimes but he was patient with me and very helpful. He stayed on schedule and had the job completed on time. I look forward to working with him again on my next project!

This company was recommended to me so tried it. The service they offer for the customers is very reliable and not expensive. You guys must be top 1 company in out city. Great job!

We selected Paul of 99 North Renovations to initially replace the master bathroom, remove a corner fireplace, knock down some popcorn ceilings and add a couple of walls to make an office in a house we had just bought. We hadn't moved into the house so took the opportunity to quickly expand the work to include a new kitchen, wall off the bonus room, new fireplace, create a dining room and expand and refinish the hardwood floors, new carpets, new lights, knock down all the popcorn ceiling throughout the house, replace pocket doors with normal doors, replace trim in the basement, redo the basement fireplace, new basement windows, renovate the half bathroom and redecorate everywhere. The only part of the house that stayed the same was the family bathroom! We definitely made a good decision to use Paul for the work. Together we managed to come up with some very creative ideas to get a completed house we're extremely happy to live in and that works really well. The kitchen and master bathroom are particularly good! Throughout the project Paul was fun to work with and very patient as we kept adding additional work. I'm sure he loved conversations that started with "so we were thinking what if we changed.........." He managed to get everything done to our satisfaction in the end and the quality of the work is excellent. He has a very good team of trades people he knows and trusts to do a professional job and he ensures their work is top notch. Sure there were some fustrations along the way and some delays (special thanks to the City of Edmonton Building Permits Dept. you suck!) but the end result was worth it. Paul really cares about making sure the little details are done right and that made a huge difference to the success of the project. Simple things like swapping out door hinges so the colour is consistent throughout the house shows he's prepared to go that extra mile to make sure everything is completed to his own high standards. Nothing was too much trouble as long as we were happy! I highly recommend Paul and 99 North Renovations if you're looking for a high quality job that's done right. You won't be disappointed. Paul - Thanks for all the hard work over the last few months and we were thinking what if we replaced the family bathroom.....just joking (ok maybe next year!)

Allowing someone into your childhood home to tear down walls and build over a lifetime of memories requires a little faith and a whole lot of trust. I am so glad I decided to work with Paul at 99 North to renovate my kitchen and remove a dividing wall. This scope had quickly increased to doing work on over half of my house, including repurposing a hallway closet, updating a bathroom and replacing the interior doors. From the beginning, Paul would offer helpful advise, come up with creative solutions and openly discuss any issues that would come up. 99 North had provided a realistic budget which clearly identified all work that had to be done. The timeline was accurate; even with a couple of setbacks and additional work. Through it all, Paul’s friendly disposition and continued contact made this project feel relatively stress free. I have truly enjoyed working with 99 North and wouldn’t hesitate to call Paul for any additional projects.

Paul Newman at 99 North Renovations was recommended to us by a family member who is a custom home builder. We purchased an older bungalow that we gutted and wished to overhaul. Overall, we cannot say enough good things about Paul. The quality of workmanship in our renovated home is second to none. We appreciated his great communication skills and attention to detail along the way. It is evident he takes great pride in his work and we always felt like he treated our home as if it were his own. Any issues that arose with the nature of our older home were always dealt with promptly and we worked together to find creative solutions. Taking on a large-scale renovation with a young family can be an overwhelming process but he helped make it as stress-free as possible. If you are looking for a knowledgeable contractor who conducts himself with a high degree of integrity and professionalism, as well as someone who sincerely cares about the project he completes and the happiness of his clients, you have found your answer. Remove old kitchen open wall to living room and install new cabinets , counter top ,flooring and painting

Paul Newman is absolutely and most definitely the nicest and best person I've ever met and hired for a job especially as big as the one that he did for me. Communication and professionalism was at the top of his list. This guy is beyond a 10 out of 10 rating.

We had a burst pipe in the kitchen and it damaged our island, main floor, all the way into the basement. Paul and his crew were nothing short of professional and pleasant. They completed the job in a very timely manner and provided us with quality products for a reasonable price!! Thanks guys!!

Paul at 99 North did a great job on our substantial basement renovation, including concrete work, new furnace, ducting, new windows, plus both up and downstairs bathrooms. We had asbestos issues, which he handled professionally. Paul has a talented crew of tradespeople that he brings in, especially his framer/finishers. The job went about as smoothly as one can expect in a 1955 house that’s never been substantially renovated before. I would especially recommend 99 North to people looking to renovate an older home. Paul isn’t afraid of the challenges and surprises older homes bring.
