We had a clogged up kitchen sink. I found Budget Rooter on homestars and based on the reviews, gave Jason a call. He showed up on the same day, was polite, courteous and very educated on the problem. We discovered that the main drain in the basement was full of hardened grease and gunk that built up over time. Jason cleaned it out with the drain snake, ran multiple tests and allowed us to watch and learn. He cleaned up and did not leave any kind of mess. He gave us tips on how to keep it from happening again and his price was very reasonable. I would definitely call Jason again should there be any more plumbing issues. A pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

After 17 years in our home the kitchen sink was plugged and draining very slowly. Jason came out on a Sunday and in 15 minutes cleaned out the blockage and restored the sink back to normal draining. Thank you Paul

Toilet was clogged at 4pm, in a condo with only one bathroom. I called Budget Rooter and described the situation and they were able to come before the night was over. They took care of everything, were very friendly, and communicated what was going on the entire time. I am extremely satisfied with the results and how quickly they were able to get here to fix the issue. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber, and will without a doubt be using them again the next time I have plumbing needs.

I found out about Budget Rooter from HomeStars based on the consistently great reviews and ratings published. Jason did an excellent job of fixing several issues in both the guest bathroom and the ensuite. The issues fixed were two dripping showers, a dripping sink faucet, and replacing a spout with diverter which was stuck and unusable. The quality of work done was professional and the price was reasonable. I have called another plumber in the past beforehand which I've use many times to try to resolve these issues and they were unable to finish the job as they didn't have the required parts readily available. They were also unable to replace the spout with diverter as they claimed that the underlying copper pipe needed to be cut off first and a replacement welded in which involved breaking off a section of drywall and tile to carry out. After a couple of follow-up attempts to obtain an estimate with no call-backs, I decided to try someone else and I'm happy that I did. Ultimately it turned out that replacing the spout with diverter in my case didn't involve having to cut off the existing copper pipe or breaking off a section of drywall and tile which was a huge relief! Bottom line, Jason is an honest plumber and solved all of my problems with ease. I would definitely use his services again for future work.

We worked with Jason over the span of a month on a variety of projects (new drain in furnace room, floor drain repair, bathroom full plumbing redo). It had been a frustrating process to find a solution for sewer bugs we were getting in our basement floor drain, and other plumbers we contacted were not interested/ complicating things or overcharging. Jason worked with us over months of communication, until we hired him for the job once we felt comfortable with what we wanted to tackle. He was very patient, kind, communicative, budget cautious and most importantly very accommodating in understanding our needs (causing the least amount of damage/ additional repair work). His ability to be resourceful and explore solutions to meet our needs was greatly appreciated and the quality of work was extremely clean, well done and top quality. We look forward to hiring Jason again for future renovation projects.

I had a terrible kitchen sink/drain clog that required me to bring dishes and wash them in the laundry room. It was not pleasant. I tried Drano, removal of P Trap (which was clear) and my Ryobi auger with 25 ft. cable and nothing worked. Called Jason a few days later and got a quick response from him with an estimate, which I found to be competitive. Also called other plumbers and some of them made it look like a really tough and expensive job. Jason was eventually able to clear the clog with a bigger auger/machine and also replaced my leaky sink drain on one side with a Kindred set. Everything works super now thanks to Jason. He is courteous, polite and friendly. Definitely won't hesitate to recommend him to friends in the GTA who may encounter future plumbing issues.

Our bathtub faucet was leaking and made rattling noises. We looked at Homestars for a plumber with excellent reviews. We called Jason and he came over promptly. He quickly replaced the cartridge and gave us advice on how to help make it last longer. He was very friendly and accommodating and obviously took pride in his work. He also charged a very reasonable rate. We will definitely call on him again not just for future plumbing problems but other home repairs as well. He definitely deserves his great reviews. Highly recommended.

I hired Jason to help with a tub faucet fix and to re-caulk the tub. He was extremely fast to respond to messages before and after the service call. As I was unable to meet him him in person, he sent photos of before, during, and after the repair which was pretty awesome. The main repair (tub faucet) was well done. The caulking however, was not as ‘clean cut’ as I would have preferred. However the overall experience was pretty good. I’d hire him again.
