    Chimney Repair

    I hired Brick Aid to cap off my chimney. During the job they noticed 20 or so bricks on the chimney were loose. They repaired these bricks without any real indent to my pocket as they were there and just wanted it to all be proper. I gave them a well deserved tip!! Great work and I will call on them again for some additional work in the near future! Very genuine, clean and professional. I myself am a business owner and I can say I highly recommend Brick Aid for your masonry needs.

    Masonry on an older house - tricky interior and exterior work

    Brick Aid Masonry, is a fantastic company.  I am a contractor, and hired Phong to do a huge job on an older house that needed a lot of tricky masonry work done on both interior and exterior walls.  The work Phong and his team did was seamless.   He blended his new work in to the existing brickwork so well, that the homeowners had no idea where the repairs had been done.  Phong is extremely hard working and professional, and has a very talented team that works well together.  Everyone was easy to work with, personable, and showed up on time.  They were very tidy, cleaned up each day before they left, and met our tight deadline, without delay.  Phong has a great work ethic, communicates well with everyone on site, and was a pleasure to deal with, even when the weather was cold and miserable.  I look forward to working with him on my next job, and would not hesitate to recommend his company to anyone.

    Masonry work and parging

    Phong was able to complete the work quickly as well as overcome unforeseen challenges. He went above and beyond going outside of the scope of the quote. Would highly recommend him!

    Brick laying - rear of the house

    If you want a true and honest brick mason, Phong and his company are the way to go. Before we started the project, Phong and I called and texted one another to make sure every detail was ironed out, including outside temperature and ideal weather conditions. Phong arrived on time and got to work right away. He filled a gap in my foundation where the builders missed, between a basement window (above grade) and the foundation. He dug 2 feet deep and around and completed the work. I asked him about a few smaller items since he was there and he graciously tuck pointed a number of bricks that he noticed needed work. I paid him his daily rate, but he honestly went above and beyond. While the window cement was drying, he tackled a number of smaller items without hesitation. He made the process for me comfortable and he was trustworthy and skilled at his trade. I highly recommend him and his team.

    Rebuilding a concrete block wall

    The retaining walls on the staircase leading to my basement in the backyard were caving in. BAM masonry (Phong and team) gave a very straightforward and reasonable quote, started as soon as I gave the greenlight, and had it done in just over a week without disturbing the tenant. Super happy with the job. Honest and professional. No nonsense. Thanks Phong. 100%recommend.

    brick repair

    Brick aid were very professional and did outstanding work replacing ruined bricks and pointing mortar on my 110 year old home. They did a great job matching the bricks, it's barely noticeable that they're new. Additionally I would like to point out how responsive they are, before and after the work had been completed and how polite/considerate they were while work was being done.

    New lintel and masonry repairs.

    The project involved a new lintel above a window. The crew did a great job and also fixed the masonry sill and other damaged masonry around the window without requesting additional fees.

    Chimney Repair.

    My chimney was developing issues over the years from the bricks chipping off an it looked like it was on its last legs an through a friend they recommended Brick aid mansory ,they were very professional in there approach to everything an I was more than satisfied with the b4 an after work .     Masonry work

    Phong and his son were great. They came quickly and repaired our bricks well. They matched the mortar colour carefully. They also did some extras like sprayed our bricks to make them more waterproof. They worked really hard and the house looks ship-shape. Thank you.

    Interior brick cleaning and tuck pointing in basement.

    This was a difficult assignment. A 3.5’ perimetrical band of original masonry in a 110-year-old house needed to be cleaned and re-pointed. It was in rough shape, with worn grouting, deterioration of the brick in certain places, and areas covered in old coats of paint, clumsy plaster repairs, etc. Phone gave me a good initial quote and then lowered it to match a competitor who wasn’t available on my schedule. He was honest about the amount of cleaning that could realistically be achieved given the age and condition of the brick. The work was completed by Phong and Mike within the desired time frame. It was well-done and the results impressive. I now have a beautiful original brick band in my basement that will anchor a major renovation. I would recommend this team to anyone. Good work at a good price, and good service.
