    Bathroom Renovation in East York

    We had such a smooth experience and are so happy with the results! Arash and his team were responsive, professional and gave great advice. We were blown away by the quality of the tiling in particular. If you want to have a relaxing, stress-free renovation I would recommend going with Summit. We would rate our experience 10/10 and will definitely call them for our next project.

    Kitchen Framing/Drywall

    What a *great* experience with Arash and his team, from start to finish! We had a couple of other contractors come to give us a quote for our project then disappear for weeks on end. Thank goodness for Summit Contractors! Arash came when he promised, he and his team completed our kitchen framing / drywalling with a high level of skill and professionalism, and was very competitively priced. He really cares about doing a great job and holds himself to high standards. On time, on budget, and an excellent end result, what more can you ask for? I would absolutely recommend Summit to others and will use them again for our next reno project!

    Cold Room Converstion/Washroom Renovation

    Summit contractors was a pleasure to work with. Arash and his team were true professionals in all aspects of the word. Despite having numerous recommendations from friends to use other contractors we went with Summit despite knowing nothing about them, and we were not disappointed. They were efficient, priced competitively but more importantly provided high quality work and finishes Their tile guys were amazing. We wouldn’t think twice about using Summit again and have recommended them to our family and friends. Thanks for turning our cold room into a functional space. Excited to use you again in the future.

    Master Bedroom Ensuite Reno

    Arash and his team did a phenomenal job with our washroom renovation! My wife and I are extremely happy with the outcome. Check out our pics below. If you don't have time to read my full review here are the 5 main points. 1. Arash and his crew are amazing and my wife and I highly recommend them 2. High quality workmanship 3. Arash keeps his word and is a true professional 4. Arash is fair with his prices 5. Arash actually does care about making his clients happy Initial Impression I found Arash on Homestar and we had several meetings with him to discuss various ideas. I like to use these meetings to gauge the other person. Last thing I want is someone who is in it only for the money rather than making their clients happy. What stood out about Arash was he was on time and made some great suggestions that we probably would have never thought of on our own. Based on his level of interest, professionalism, honesty and my gut instincts that he’s a trustworthy guy we went ahead to hire him. Demolition During the demolition phase Arash and his crew were very respectful of our home. What distinguished them was they made the effort to protect our floors and stairs with a high quality product. I don't recall the name of the product but it was blue and was designed to be waterproof and protect against any heavy items dropping on the floor. It definitely wasn't the cheap paper covers that i’ve seen some contractors use in the past. I also liked how they cleaned up after each day despite the master bedroom not being occupied. By doing this choir, it did make me feel like they didn’t treat my home like a job site. Creating Our New Washroom This was probably one of the most exciting parts of our project. Once we saw them starting to build our new washroom it became easier to envision the entire layout. The first thing that comes to mind that stood out about Arash and his team was they were always thinking ahead. This allowed them to give us some options and make recommendations. The reason this is important to me is I have limited knowledge about this field so to have someone present me the options and answer my questions that meant a lot to me. For example, presenting us the two best options for waterproofing in the shower. A good example of Arash and his team thinking ahead is when they helped us run a new water line from our water tank into the new washroom. This allowed us to have a direct source of hot and cold water vs borrowing from the washroom next door. I loved how he took the initiative to get this done for us despite us never talking about it before. At the end of each day, my wife and I would take a look at the progress of our washroom and we really liked the workmanship of their team. No shortcuts were taken. This was one of our fears after watching all these shows on HGTV. I am glad Summit Contractors takes pride in their work. Final Touches The final piece of work was installing a barn door for us. It wasn’t a straightforward process due to our wall. Again, Arash thought outside of the box and came up with a brilliant idea to ensure the barn door did not damage our wall and also creatively added stoppers where required. My wife is extremely happy with her new barn door! Towards the end of the project Arash made sure everything that he had originally promised us was done. He had a check list and went through each item ensuring we both agreed. He definitely kept his word from start to finish. Recommendation My wife and I highly recommend Arash and his team at Summit Contractors. High quality work, fair prices, Arash keeps his word and he works to make his customers happy. His team is truly fantastic. Special shout out to the team -> Sohrab, Amir, Ash, Peyman and a couple of others names I cant remember. Bottom line is if you are looking for someone for your next project, make sure to call Summit Contractors!

    Master Bathroom Renovation

    We have just completed an entire renovation of our master bathroom with Arash and his team at Summit Renovations. From demolition to installations of cabinetry, electrical and plumbing, it all went very smoothly. We had the bathroom enlarged into a closet space to accommodate a larger shower and an infared sauna, and we are absolutely delighted with the result. The job was completed on time and on budget, with all service people entering the house being very respectful and polite. They also cleaned up at the end of each day. Arash offered some suggestions about design and materials, and we are very happy with the outcome. We would highly recommend Arash and his team at Summit.

    Dual Bathroom Full Renovation

    I had adjoining connected bathrooms that I had converted to 2 separate (en-suite and main on second floor), including custom vanity work and a steam shower. Overall very pleased with the level of service and accommodation for special design requests. Everyone on the team is friendly and good to work with. While every project has its issues, what’s most important to me is a willingness to correct and overcome, something Arash and the Summit team have in spades.

    Bathroom full renovation

    Arash, Sohrab and the entire Summit team were all excellent. Arash was very patient and helpful in recommending materials. This construction took place during the COVID outbreak. The entire construction team were not only very neat but were all very conscientious about health precautions such as masks. I was pleased with the entire project and will use Summit again. I was especially happy with the extremely neat job they did with the tile.

    Amazing experience with Summit

    I found Summit Contractors through a Google search for gta contractors, and contacted Arash as well as a few other contractors to come over and give an estimate for reno project of part of my house. I’ve done quite a few renos in the past, and I’ve never been fully satisfied with the job nor the experience with contractors. Surprisingly, this time around was a whole different experience. Arash, Sohrab and other Summit guys are a pleasure to work with! Summit renovated my whole master bedroom. They renovated the whole en-suite and changed the bathtub to a beautiful walking shower with fabulous tile work, changed the whole flooring (to gorgeous hardwood), doors, window frames, and lots of electrical and plumbing jobs, as well an implacable painting of the whole area. The job took a couple days more than promised, but considering the corona virus situation during the last days, I have no complaints. Overall, amazing job! Already hired them to start renovating other section of my house after this quarantine situation is over! 10/10

    Bathroom renovation distaster

    Summit renovated two of my bathrooms completing work in July, 2019. I have delayed giving a review because I wanted to forget the whole experience but based on what I found today I feel I must provide a warning to anyone considering hiring this company. Since the completion of the renovation I have been working to remedy damage caused by Summit contractors including repairs to my hardwood flooring, repairs to my wooden front doors, repair to my new tub and repairs to my finished basement which incurred water damage due to leaking pipes from Summit work. This has cost me thousands of dollars in repair costs not to mention the aggravation. The issue that has pushed me over the line is that over the past couple of months I have noticed cracks in my bathroom drywall. I called a contractor to investigate. Today the contractor and I discovered that Summit did not tape the drywall joints. Of course now the walls are cracking at these locations. Buyer beware. I’ll be happy if I help at least one potential buyer to seriously think about whether or not they wish to hire Summit Contractors.

As the owner of Summit Contractors, who has a reputation of providing outstanding services to its clients gaining us numerous 10stars reviews, it is with mixed emotions that I am writing this respond since we have a claim of not being satisfied with a project. Yet, I need to share these evidence to protect my hard working and professional team who have always made me proud and made our clients rave about the team and what they have created. We have a reputation of being honest and fair and with all due respect to the owner of the review, we decided not to respond with a stereotype apologetic reply, but to share our point of view with honesty and integrity. Luckily as a part of our procedure we take photos of every project and job site before, during and after we are done. We would like to invite you to review the pictures of this project as we are proud of the job we have done and the professional measures we have taken for this project to come up with outstanding results within the quote and timeline. These pictures talk for themselves in proving that many of the indicated points on this review are false. The indication of the drywalls not being taped is FALSE. There are over 25 photos that show the drywalls have been carefully taped. 2. We gladly covered the claimed cost of the claimed damage to the bath tub although there was no evidence of the damage or invoice provided. (Proof provided in the pictures) 3. Claimed damages to the hardwoods and the door were minor scratches and we offered a free touch up, which was waived by the owner since he considered them minuscule. 4. The only claim that is close to an actual fact was a leak caused by the toilet valve failure which was taken care of immediately. (photo of the damage is provided and as mentioned it was fixed by us) 5. We trust that a zero score is unrealistic even when if the writer of the review is not fully satisfied with a job. 6. The owner of this review has never contacted us regarding any complaints or to ask for any kind of repairs since the completion of the project. 7. It is also indicated that thousands of dollars!!! were spent to fix these damages, yet he never contacted or claimed this damages, which is a highly unlikely behaviour when the claim is valid, specially after he had already been reimbursed for the bathtub immediately without any evidence. Can’t see why he wouldn’t communicate any other issue with us! Given the evidence provided in the pictures from this project and the above details of the events as well as the unrealistic score, it seems to us that the writer of this review has been rather unkind about the service he has received from Summit Contractors.     Amazing Experience and End Result!!

    I wanted to renovate my bathroom for years, but as a young female, it wasn't an exciting prospect to start inviting contractors over to have a look at my bathroom. However, I saw that Summit had great reviews and decided to go for it - best decision. They are so timely, and thoughtful. They think of every situation that could come up and make sure you make the right decision for what you are looking for. The whole job was done in such an organized way, and they were so efficient. Would 100% RECOMMEND these guys. So so happy with the results.
