    great work

    Those guys are very smart and they know how to do their jobs. I recommend this company to everyone wants to get an amazing project. They are always available for every question or problem solving. I think I'll call always them for every project I'll have to do.

    PROJECT IN ALLISTON

    GREAT COMPANY,NICE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Those guys are very smart and they know how to do their jobs. I recommend this company to everyone wants to get an amazing project.     Front porch flagstone

    Gc contracting are absolutely amazing! If I could give more stars I would! Gg, Luca and the entire team are not only professional, and hard working, they know their stuff! The flagstone on my porch looks beautiful! Thank you guys, you guys are awesome!

    Office Renovation

    Above and beyond, these guys are better than 10 stars! Gigi, Luca and the whole team came out to renovate my business office space. Our space is in a very old building, and from the start, Gigi was honest with me about the work we were looking at. He stuck to my budget, and really explained the work that would be done and why it was to be done that way. I had received quotes from about 5 other contractors who were not nearly as honest and open as Gigi and Luca were! On the morning of the reno, Gigi, Luca and the team showed up on time, with everything necessary for the job. My colleague and I were here for a few hours organizing while they were working and - how can you describe a team that works, but it doesn't feel like work? They are the kindest people, so friendly and they all have a great attitude. You can tell they love what they do, and are good at it. In all, Gigi kept me informed on everything, called me when a decision needed to be made and got the work done in a timely manner. Two days, and our business was able to open again. These guys are the best for any job, we can't wait to work with them again.

    Honest and Quality

    What can I say that hasn't already been said about GC General Contracting? Gigi, Luca and their team are absolutely amazing. From the beginning, they respected my need to remain within budget, provided me with a detailed SOV (work to be done and associated costs), and completed the job with efficiency and cleanliness, providing me with top-quality workmanship as well as material. I had a basement reno done, to be turned into a basement apartment. They kept me in the loop the whole time, making sure they ask me if there would be any potential cost impact. There's something to be said about winter renos that we - consumers - take for granted. I can certainly appreciate how they worked efficiently around weather delays. I love the new basement apartment: it is crisp, clean, simple and modern. Most importantly though, is their integrity. I can't even begin to describe what a breath of fresh air it is to have a contractor who is honest, open and so customer oriented. If you ever have a concern, they will make sure to meet your needs as best they could. I will absolutely recommend GC General Contracting and hope to work with them again in the near future! Thanks Gigi! P.S. I also want to give a shoutout to Gigi's electrical sub. I hope he knows how truly grateful we are for the electrical work he did. He upgraded our electrical panel so that now we can now use the microwave and internet at the same time!

    Main floor overhaul

    Gigi and his team did a complete overhaul of our main floor including removing a load bearing wall, redoing all the floors and kitchen, along with painting and new doors. They have great attention to detail and noted things we would never have thought of, which is why we chose them. Where they lost the stars were on communication and timeliness as the project definitely took longer than expected. With a 2 week beam delay another job got started which often then took precedence over our job and we had times where we were told someone would show up and they didn’t . Gigi will work with you on any miscommunications and make sure you’re happy as a customer. They made sure to replace a toilet and door jam which were accidentally broken during demo, and they’re coming back in the spring to clean some gashes. Gigi definitely cares about his customers’ satisfaction and ensuring the job is done right. All the workers were very competent and polite. See a couple photos below!

    Bathroom Renovation on Second Floor

    Work started end of July 2018. The project started out fine. Many deficiencies occurred. When the project was 90% finished (Sept 2018) two leaks occurred with water leaking onto the first floor through the ceiling. Further the skirt around the bathtub was constructed incorrectly so that water leaked on the bathroom floor during and after a shower. The new cabinet unit height was also more than almost TEN inches off spec. Finally the finishings and paint job were very sub-standard. Gigi abandoned the project (would not return calls) and introduced Luca to repair the many deficiencies. I will give Luca credit for repairing some of the major deficiencies however its now Sept 2019 and the project is still not done. I'm left with no option but to hire another contractor to complete the project. Gigi had good intentions at the beginning however it was clear that he does not have the experience for high end custom work. The way Gigi has handled this project is extremely unprofessional.

    Basement and Bathroom Renovation

    This was the most seamless and easy renovation I have ever had done. The work was flawless and it was done in the time I was quoted. Right on time for my 6 year olds birthday! Everyone was professional and the owner oversaw everything. Any reno's are going to come with kinks but this one was easy and I'd recommend this team to anyone. Thanks GC!

    Basement Leak

    GC Contracting is at once extremely professional, the epitome of reasonable pricing, and what is very rare is an amicable kindness for everyone on site. We were devastated to learn we had an enormous leak in our basement (a main pipe had burst). GC Contracting, headed by Gigi saved the day!!!!!!!! They quickly assessed and fixed what could have quickly become a nightmare... instead Gigi is a dream come true renovator. We are thoroughly satisfied and relieved. Every once in a while you meet a contractor with integrity, someone that works with his hands, mind, and especially his heart... that is Gigi...Thank you, judie

    Interlocking, Asphalt pave and electrical

    Great team to work with. Especially they compile with the my project time line, quick in and out. Professional less mess. One stop shop for all my project requirements. Quick reponsive on issues, Especially the electrician responded late cold nite to the site. Very impressed with the project with less stress. I certainly recommend GC.
