    Broken washing machine

    I have a broken washing machine. I have been strung along for a month now. They don't know where the part is or if it will ever come. The manager doesn't respond, the dispatch is just a phone service person who can do nothing, and the technician doesn't seem to know anything except that the part isn't here yet. They don't communicate proactively. I have to text or call to find out if they are coming and then they say no they are not coming.

    Dishwasher Leak

    Update Aug 17, 2022: I filed a dispute with TD Visa for the unused parts that for which I paid in advance in the amount of $380. Appliance Repair Expert are disputing my claim with TD saying that the parts were installed and were on site Aug 11! Unbelievable, no one was on site on Aug 11 and I have since engaged a reputable appliance company. I have paid 2 invoices so far for the initial service call mid-march and the parts. It is now June and the situation is not resolved. The service man came in on Monday claiming the dishwasher has reset itself and now works and did not install the parts. This is after I escalated to speak to a manager on Friday, who still has not called. I cannot get through any of their numbers on their website and have not received a response to my emails.

    Service

    Terrible. Do not recommend. If you have any problems with them they will stop answering and replying to emails. Very unprofessional.

    Washing machine repair

    We called them on a Sunday and they were out Monday evening. The guy worked hard to get us fixed up right away. He was polite and very knowledgeable. Super happy we don't need to replace our machine.

    Dryer Repair

    The service was exceptional and very timely. Diagnosed the problem to the motherboard, sourced a replacement and installed two days later. Would highly recommend company for repair.

    Dryer repair

    My dryer wouldn't start. I made an appointment yesterday. John knew awhat was wrong. Being that I drton't shop online John ordered the part which turned out to be the know to start the dryer. He was extremely nice and I wouldn't hesitate to do a repeat service call when needed. I highly recommend this company. Thank you John.

    Staff

    The owner, Elaine, is rude and abrupt. Go elsewhere. The staff and technicians are great. If you can handle her unneeded approachgood luck. She is mean and rude.

    Refuse to Refund Charged Amount after Cancellation

    Used this company many times for repairs but never again. They were unable to get a part and install it so I got it done through another company. Charge to my credit card was on April 25 2022. Emailed to them to cancel part and install on May 2 2022. Here is the email... Hello Andrew I was speaking with Alexandra at your office. As you can see from the invoice you were at our home recently and diagnosed a problem with a particular part of our washer. This part is sold out in Canada and won't be available for some time. I left a voicemail message for you last week but there has been no returned call. As a result, I found another source for the part and installed it myself. Can you please refund me the amount of the invoice minus the initial service call. Please acknowledge the receipt of the email and the refund ASAP. Thank you, Repeated phone calls to credit my Visa but there has been no credit processed. Contacting the manager by pressing 1 on the phone is a joke, because no one returns the calls. Had to dispute the charge through Visa. WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN !

    To install a Compressor in a fridge

    DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!! They came charged for the call to diagnose. Te tech was here for all of 15 to 20 minutes and charged me $111.87. They said if they do the work they would deduct that from the cost of installing a new compressor. As it was under warranty I secured the compressor and was to call them when it came in to arrange for insall. After at least 8 calls and 2 emails i've yet to get a call back. The last call i received they are now saying they don't have anyone to do the work in this area. Bottom line is they should not have arranged the servive if they can not do the work. They advertise they can fix anything and pride themselves on service and in fact it's parrt of the message you hear when calling them. Obviously false advertisment. I'll be contacting the various goverment agencies to report them

    Above and beyond

    Sam, the technician, was one of the most thorough and professional people I have ever let into my house. He was polite and respectful while going above and beyond the call of duty in diagnosing the issue that had kept my refrigerator without power. He came back another day with the missing part (after having searched high and low to purchase it over the weekend), and finished the work as he had promised. It is employees like Sam that make or break the reputation of a company. Thank you Appliance Repair Experts!
