Custom Cedar Fence
There is an old adage, “you get what you pay for”, and the work Mike and Adam did is worth every penny. I have no idea how Adam is able to accomplish the amount of work he does in so little time. They were able to take an idea, vision, we had for a fence and made it come to life! I believe they honestly care about doing excellent work. They were on time and true to their estimate. Absolutely brilliant!!

New fence project.
Mike from D6 provided estimate on job as requested and completed work as promised without any problems. Adam from D6 did most of the actual construction of the fence in an efficient and timely fashion. Very pleased with the final result..

Fence project
Mike and the D6 Team were fantastic to deal with from initial quote to finished project: honest, professional, reliable, detail-oriented, hard working, efficient, and it was obvious that they cared a lot about producing very high quality results. Our project was a fenced in dog run for our backyard, and it turned out beautifully, and completely exceeded our expectations. We are so happy with it. We will definitely have this company do all of our future fencing/deck projects, and we highly recommend them to everyone.

Fence
Our mature front hedge was trimmed, and no longer presented a welcoming appearance. D6 Contracting had previously built a fence along another side of our property, and we were very satisfied. We decided to ask them to construct this fence to increase our privacy and improve the aesthetics. Their suggestion was to work the fence boards horizontally, which is a very finished and attractive front face for the property. To paraphrase: "How do I recommend, thee, let me count the ways: honest, knowledgeable, reliable and trustworthy." Having been homeowners for many years, we have worked with a variety of contractors on different projects. D6 rates at the top!

Roof Deck removal and rebuild
Mike and his workers estimated the roof deck of some 625 sq ft and they proceeded to remove the old 2x4 decking with fence around three sides. The heavy decking needed to be cut up. moved and stacked for removal off the roof which is four stories up. While a lift was planned, it was changed to manually carrying all the materials down to the truck where it was then driven to Langley for dumping. There was one incident that happened that showed the good character and responsibility of D-6 when the old deck was being cut up the torch-on roof was cut in a number of places due to the worker not taken care of the distance the saw was penetrating. To Mike's immediate sense of responsibility, he obtained quotes from fives roofers and some 500 square feet of new roofing was installed at his expense to cover the error. Special exotic hardwood from Micronesia and supplied by Kayu Canada was then carefully and precisely installed as well as three sides fenced with clear cedar and glass. The finishing and with trim made this deck look very impressive.

New Cedar Fence, paver patio & pergola with lighting
Well i would like to start by saying how very happy we are with the fence, patio and pergola that D6 and the crew did for us. I would strongly recommend D6 for any one of these jobs. Mike was very attentive to our needs. We are very sure we will enjoy for many years to come.

Fence
I saw that D6 was doing a fence on my street I called for quote Mike showed up gave me a quote and a time line him and his crew came in very professional finished on time and was very happy with the work.

d6 was on time with all the materials and help on hand as per their quote. They were very professional and accurate with the work that was done. Im very confident to highly recommend them and will use d6 again in the near future!

New Deck
We are extremely pleased with the work completed by the team at D6 Contracting. these guys are Professional, Productive and most importantly Polite. From start to finish we were informed on all aspects of construction, we were consulted during the design and build as each stage neared completion. Two thumbs up for these guys, great young men and great leadership within.
