We had sewage back-up in our basement & needed emergency service to replace our pipes. Vasyl from Drymax came right away, assessed the situation & explained in detail of what's needed to be done while being mindful of minimizing the damage to our finished basement. We were very lucky that Vasyl & his team were able to begin the repair work the very next day. Vasyl provided clear & prompt communication throughout the job. Our house is a 1885 Victorian townhouse connected on our east side to a mirror-image semi-detached; my neighbour and I share the back wall of our foundation. When we discovered it was leaking badly, we determined that it would be best to do the work at the same time, and after a few quotes we settled on Vasyl and DryMax. What a GREAT choice. Vasyl explained everything that needed to be done, set timelines, and laid out the costs clearly. (The cost I listed here includes the $1750 city rebate for the sump pump; my total invoice was $5638, and was just for the work on my side of the property, which was the back wall and a bit of wraparound. My neighbour (billed separately) did substantially more of his foundation.) The work was efficient, professional, and completed without disturbing either of the decks that were above it. Vasyl's crew were outstanding. They repaired & patched our somewhat dodgy foundations beautifully, waterproofed the repaired wall, installed the foundation membrane, and carefully ensured that there was a proper run-off slope away from the foundation. Installing the sump pump required Vasyl & his guys to access our basement, and they did that work carefully and respectfully, and left the inside of the house spotless. Considering the massive upheaval of our backyards necessary to digging a 6' deep x 2' wide trench along the most of the foundation of the building, when the work was completed, both of our yards were left in immaculate condition. Vasyl personally inspected the work after it was done and made sure we were completely satisfied before taking payment. It will be a while before we can assess the true impact of the work, but I am confident that this was an excellent investment in maintaining my house. I highly recommend Vasyl and DryMax, especially for older houses that need this kind of retro-fitting.

DryMax Waterproofing is an exceptional company and we highly recommend them to everyone. We contacted them when our basement flooded and Vasyl came immediately to give an estimate when other contractors wanted to wait weeks. His prices were very reasonable and answered all of our questions. He treated us as a priority and applied for the permit right away. Vasyl and his crew were reliable, hard-working and quite clean. They went above and beyond in restoring the soil around the entire house and created a path for us. They completed the job in a timely fashion and were quite meticulous in their work. We have utmost confidence that our basement and entire foundation around the house is now secure. It was a pleasure working with DryMax Waterproofing! 10/10!

We contacted numerous companies for a quote for water penetrating our foundation and found that Vasyl of Drymax waterproofing was the most thorough in his investigation and explanation of what had to be done. He explained every detail and emphasized once they dug the trench and completed the waterproofing all would be put back as before. The team showed up and as promised took down a fence..performed the repair as explained and once complete replaced the soil and fence and you would never know the ground or area was disturbed. They were professional..detailed and throrough. I would definitely recommend Vasyl and his team at Drymax. 100% SATISFACTION.

We had to waterproof our foundation in the basement and are so glad we worked with Vasyl and the Drymax team. Vasyl did a great job explaining the work required, gave us great advice, and helped us apply for the basement waterproof subsidies we are eligible for with the city. His team was quick, very clean, and I am impressed with the work they did. Would definitely recommend for anyone needing waterproofing.

Our experience with Vasyl was amazing. Vasyl was incredibly thorough (unlike other contractors we had met with) in his investigation of leaks in our home to make sure that the work we would proceed with was the right work to be doing. Vasyl saved us from wasting money on efforts that wouldn't have solved our root problem (which had been suggested by other contractors). Once the work started, Vasyl and his team were super quick and professional. They even navigated a relationship with our neighbours who we share a property line with to make sure the work could proceed while also keeping my neighbour happy. I'd recommend Vasyl and DryMax Waterproofing to anyone.

We called Vasyl at DryMax and within a day he came by to inspect the issues in our home and provided solutions to fix the issues. Vasyl and the DryMax team were did a great job at a reasonable price and on time. They did the job in the exact time that was quoted and were considerate and respectful of the old house, existing finishes and cleaned up once the job was complete. They did the job right and did not take short cuts. They also submitted the building permit and booked the inspection, which most contractors do not bother to do. We highly recommend DryMax and would use them again.

On time In budget Way better than my expectations Thoroughly knowledgeable ,he explained what needed to be done in simple English and followed thru. No cost overruns and best of all no surprises- the basement is still dry!
