Choosing Techvill was not the best experience. We ended up replacing our dishwasher.

I was very dissatisfied with the lack of response to my follow up calls after the dishwasher repair. I had called 3 companies to ask about costs and 2 said to get a new dishwasher. I saw an ad for Techvill and made the call and the first call I was very specific to the question of total cost to repair vs replace. I was told they specialize in Bosch and could likely fix on the spot. I found out it was the motor so when the technician said it would take a few days to order and he would come back, I was very clear I need to know the entire cost as I needed to know if I should just replace it as I get appliance discounts and it would not be worth fixing if too high. I was told $320 so I made the decision to go forward. There was no mention of the return cost of service bringing my bill to $497. I have made at the very least 12 calls to see if someone can help me to resolve this and there is no response. I do not want to not have a bill paid so the lady this morning said she would only be authorized to discount $30 . I accepted but so dissatified with the lack of response . I kept being told management would get back to me and they didn't . I will pay but never use them again.

I had a great experience with this company. They quickly diagnosed the issue with my door lock, determining that it had burned out. During the follow-up visit, the lock was replaced efficiently, and everything works perfectly now. The whole process was smooth, professional, and hassle-free. Highly recommend!

I am completely satisfied with their service and can highly recommend them to others. The technician arrived on time, clearly explained the issue, and offered me several options for fixing it. For my particular case, an additional part needed to be ordered, which took a few days. In the meantime, the technician temporarily got the dishwasher running so that I could still use it while waiting for the part. A few days later, when the part arrived, the technician returned and completed the repair. I am very pleased with the service. Everything was done cleanly and neatly. A big thumbs up from me!

These guys answered the call right away, took all the details and gave a detailed breakdown. Tech came out the same day diagnosed the problem quickly and provided explanation to his findings. We approved the quote Techvill provided and they fixed our stove the next day. These guys are not cheap and for a good reason. Warranty, service, professionalism were showing. Bosch website had TechVill as a recommended appliance repair company. Well I shouldve checked Google or HomeStars reviews. What a fiasco, the tech didnt even touch the dryer and told me the part it needed was unavailable. After I prompted him to diagnose the issue properly he then spent the next hour FULLY dismantling the entire FRONT of the dryer! Even had me hold the door he was taking off (this was to diagnose a broken heating element) I knew he should be going in through the back so I went into the kitchen and googled my dryer and diagnosing a heating element. Well sure enough a three minute video came up showing to take off the back. The tech was incompetent, he finally did take the back off, and after screwing around with my dryer for another half hour told me it was the circuit board. He said it would cost me extra for the time he spent on it, I said no way!, Im going to call your manager and Im leaving a bad review -you shouldve watched the three minute video on how to do this properly! he tried to put the dryer back together, it was now coming up to two hours. Then he went to turn it on and lo and behold It wouldnt - which was no surprise considering all the wires he had pulled out of it. He offered to stay late to try and get it running ( like it was when he arrived) But I didnt want to have anything more to do with this company. I was actually afraid of a wire shorting out and causing a fire or something. When I expressed my dissatisfaction of Alex to the manager of customer care at TechVill he apologized and said it wont happen again. - yes I have to agree - as I wont be using this company ever again.

Expensive, Workmanship so-so, Business Ethic questionable. We engaged Techville to complete two separate Fault 53 error codes on a Miele washer. 1. The Techville website state they repair Miele products, however, we subsequently determined they are not a Miele authorized 3rd party service contractor. 2 First call-out they charged their "high end" charge of $230 + a further $45 charge as an on-site "high end" assessment charge + a further $180 to return to install the part. Miele's own servicing costs $299 which covers the initial assessment and subsequent visit to install parts (a Techville premium cost of $156). Techville quoted $239 for a new part + a further $30 parts fee, whereas Miele only charge their list price of $176 for the same part (a Techville premium cost of $93). 3. The Miele technician determined that one of bushings installed by Techville was slightly damaged, additionally, there was considerable carbon dust from the old bushings around the controls that was not cleaned by Techville. 4. The Techville warranty is 90-days vs. the Miele warranty of 6-months. The Techville accounting department do not return calls.

I would never recommend. I chose Techvill of Vancouver BC because on its website the company claims that it provides "expert repair for hood fans of all types and brands" and that "most hood fan repairs are completed same day." This was definitely not my experience. I explained my problem to the company representative (the fan on my over-the-range LG microwave no longer retracted, which indicated the locking mechanism was broken). I gave the brand and model number for the benefit of the technician who would visit. Techvill sent a technician who was completely unprepared, had no idea how to disassemble the appliance to get to the broken locking device. Following some random unscrewing of parts, the technician asked me if I had a manual. Needless to say, major red flag. Around 25 minutes into the service visit, I ended up calling my friend/neighbour who had installed the microwave/fan, and he kindly came over and essentially provided instructions on how to disassemble the appliance. No surprise to any us, the locking device was broken. However, there was no part, which meant another costly visit. So much for "expert repair for hood fans of all types and brands" and same-day repairs. A few days later I received the invoice and estimate to complete the job ($20 above the online price for the locking device, and 30 minutes to reassemble the unit). Let me say that if I agreed to another service visit from Techvill I would be paying close to the price of the microwave/fan. I wish to give a company a chance to refute my concerns before I post a negative review, and so, I called Techvill to lodge a complaint about the service. I was told that I would receive a call later that day to discuss this issue. No call. No surprise.

The customer service is responsive and diligent with follow up to ensure satisfaction with the company.

I ordered parts for my rental's dryer in December, 2023 and they advised the parts will arrive within 8-10 weeks as they are special orders but unfortunately, the shipment was delayed and the parts were not received after 3 months of waiting, so I have to request for refund. They refunded the prepaid amount without delays even though I was not very happy with the delays but I guess they have done the best they could.....
