Project
After meeting with five contractors, we decided on The Wall Doctor.
Our first contractor backed out of the project, and it turned out
to be a blessing in disguise. The condo was in a building
from the 1950's. It needed a lot of care and attention to detail.
Many wounds on the surfaces, cracks from floor to ceiling
halfway across the room, peeling paint, and other inconsistencies, presented a challenging assignment. Daniel and his team arrived
on day one and every stage of the project was handled with patience, care and attention to detail. The tradesmen took great pride in how
they approached the job. The removal of an area of the ceiling previously caused by water damage created a seamless surface , and was replaced with new drywall. I was reassured of the structural soundness of the ceiling although another contractor told me it could collapse on my head
at any time.
Honesty, integrity, excellent communication, punctuality and a realistic timeline to complete the work. All of the above added to my peace of
mind, and the final result was a " work of heart ". It felt like a "rebirth."
I couldn't imagine how those weatherbeaten surfaces could be given new life. I would confidently recommend Daniel and his
team in the future. Much gratitude and appreciation for
healing and restoring and transforming the space.
