I am very satisfied with my tree removal that was very close to my house and close to power lines. They were very careful, on time, worked hard, cleaned up very well and fulfilled everything set out in our contract. I feel confident to use them again. I needed a tree taken out of my backyard because it was destroying my garage. I contacted Higher Place on the recommendation of one of my neighbours and am very happy with the work. We had a large, diseased elm tree in our yard that needed removal. Shopping around for quotes was difficult as there weren't many companies that would deal with such a large tree that extended over city power lines. Chris came on site to assess the job, and was very knowledgeable, patient and explained some of our options. His quote was competitive with others we'd received so we proceeded. Rain pushed off our start date, but we quickly rescheduled. The whole operation was smooth and quick. 2 days to take down the tree and 1/2 day to grind the stump. He checked in at the end of each day and made sure our yard was clean afterwards. Thanks so much to Chris and the Higher Place team.Answer from pro:

Had a big linden tree in the front yard of my recently purchased home. Looked at several candidates to do the job. Selected Chris after talking with him because I was impressed with his professional opinion as to the likelihood of obtaining approval from the city. Pricing was middle ground but Chris was very knowledgeable and straightforward as the what to expect from tree removal application to actual removal. On the day of the tree removal, him and his crew completed the task and left the area clean and pristine. Definitely would recommend!!Answer from pro:

We recently hired Chris, Higher Place Tree Care Inc., to remove the tallest tree in our valley, which was 75% dead and had become a safety concern. The entire process, including permits from the city, seemed daunting to us and was handled with exceptional skill and professionalism. Chris arrived fully equipped with specialized gear and a powerful truck that efficiently ground the tree into chips, which he promptly disposed of. Remarkably, by the time I returned from grocery shopping, the tree was completely goneand the area was so thoroughly cleaned, it looked as though no work had been done at all! This is a highly dangerous job, and its clear that Chris and his team are true experts in his field. Beyond his technical abilities, hes also incredibly friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. I couldnt recommend him more highly for anyone in need of arborist services. Thank you for making such a big job seem effortless!Answer from pro:

Chris and his team removed a large linden tree in my backyard. The tree was leaning badly on the fence and wires and unfortunately had to be taken down. Dealing with Chris was a pleasure. From getting a quote to getting the permit from the city to taking the tree down, Chris work was impeccable. Communication with him was easy, quick and efficient. Chris was quick to respond to our request in need for an Arborist. He diagnosed our large Manitoba Maple tree with clear experience and provided us with a reasonable quote to remove it. With his knowledge of the Citys bylaws and policies, he helped us to get the required permit efficiently. Chris showed up at the promised time with his crew and did the work with excellence and professionalism. They were very respectful and careful not to damage our hedges that were very close.
