Michael and the Level Up group construction team recently completed our basement. The experience surpassed anything we could have expected. Michael and our supervisor, Avtar, were outstanding. We were presented designs and suggestion prior to work commencing, allowed us to be confident to ensure our basement would become functional to meet our growing needs. A schedule was provided to ensure we were informed step by step of the progress and completion. We problem solved as a team to tackle issues as they arrived to ensure the best positive outcome in our benefit. I would highly recommend level up to anyone looking to get home renovations completed, you wont be disappointed.

This team is good!!! We recently got our basement finished with a bathroom by the Level Up Group. We choose to have them come for an estimate based on their positive reviews. We appreciated that Michael (the owner) and the project supervisor, Avtar, came personally to our home to assess the work, answer our questions and discuss the potential project. After estimates from several companies, we decided to go with Level Up, and were glad we did. They were not the least expensive nor the most expensive, but they provided a reasonable breakdown of costs. Michael and his team are well organized in that they provided a comprehensive schedule of when each trade was expected to their part of the work. It was obvious that all the trades took pride in producing good quality work. Ashley, their designer, was helpful in choosing materials and fixtures. Michael and Avtar are very approachable and easy to deal with. They are responsive and do their best to accommodate the clients needs and issues. After hearing about bad experiences with other contractors, we appreciated that with Level Up we didn't have to chase after anyone or deal with long delays. As with any project, glitches happen, but Avtar, Michael and their team promptly addressed the issues. Overall, we were very satisfied with the process, the team, and the end result! The most reassuring part was that when the city inspector came to inspect the work, he commented that they did a good job--that meant a lot coming from someone who has seen all kinds of jobs.

I contacted Michael in 2022 for a quote, and was so impressed with his attention to detail in his digital organization. He knew where and when his crew was at all times. Level Up was not the cheapest of the 3 quotes I received, I believe you get what you pay for, and Level Up did not disappoint! All challenges and changes made during the process were transparent at all times. Communication is top notch, questions or concerns were addressed with compassion and clarity. Avtar (Site Manager) always friendly and informative when I needed. Everyone who entered my home during the process were respectful, friendly, knowledgeable. In a world of who do you trust? I had the pleasure of working with Michael and his team over the last few months and I was very happy with the attention to detail and communication. They followed through on everything they promised and when small issues came up, they kept me up to date suggested changes and addressed the issues. What a great experience working with Michael, Avtar, Ashley and the tradesmen. Thank you for taking our basement ideas and creating a space well enjoy for years to come. Our project finished on time and within 10% of the original estimate. We are very happy with the project. Michael and Ashley listened to our ideas, shared their own ideas and experiences and helped us navigate the layout of the basement. Michaels estimate included high quality products for flooring, tiles, vanities, pot lights and faucets. For instance we were able to pick any 12x24 tile for the bathroom or any 26 vanity. Wow! This meant we could focus on the options (and there were many!) instead of always trying to balance budget. Before signing on with LevelUp, we visited their design center where we saw options that were included in our quote and Ashley spent nearly 2 hours with us to explain our package and clarify our questions. Of course there were many upgrade options too but we felt we didnt have to. After our visit, we had a very good idea of how our basement can look and what our budget limits will be. Once the project started, our main contacts were Avtar and Michael. Avtar visited our house twice a week to check on progress and checked on us. We had a direct line with Avtar and hed answer our calls within a few rings. We felt he was always around and he would listen and action any of our asks. We received our schedule with different tradesmen visiting us for various tasks. They all came on time, friendly, courteous and clean. Each team would clean up after their part is done and the trash would be removed from our house on a weekly basis to prevent trash build up in our garage. Our property, including the basement, the hallways and the garage was always kept tidy and clean. Everyone respected our privacy and took care to keep us in the loop. Our project finished one day AHEAD of schedule! Once floor covers were removed, we found a few defects on the floor and stairs from all the foot traffic. The tradesmen showed up as a team (4 people!) and fixed the issues within couple of hours. These damages are bound to happen so I was less concerned by them. However, Im incredibly impressed how quickly it was fixed and the care they put to make it look perfect. Michael and his team worked hard to make our project exceptional with great customer service. This is one of those examples. Overall, we are very happy and thankful that we chose LevelUp for our project. We are looking forward to using our basement for years to come. Thank you everyone. From the moment Michael walked in and gave us a complete and professional quote for our basement renovation we knew he was our guy. He created an ambitious schedule he kept to it. His team from designers, framers, plumbers, drywallers were exceptional. He saw things that didnt meet his standards and fixed them before we noticed. Michael and his team were ALWAYS accessible and responsive. Sometimes it unexpected happens, it was remedied immediately. (And even when I changed my mind on something, he thoroughly explained the impact on cost and timing). We are absolutely thrilled with our basement.
