JBD Drywall & Taping reviews (32)

Jeff was hired to replace our basement bedroom ceiling drywall after sustaining water damage from a leak under our kitchen sink. Aside from being warm and professional, he was very down to earth and honest with his assessment of the damage and how much it could cost. He walked me through a couple of options instead of “selling me” on the most expensive one. His quote was comprehensive of repair and painting and it was competitive. The quality of work was high and I’m glad to have his contact as I’ll be for sure using his services for other jobs around our house. Excellent value and thanks for a great experience!

Jeff was a great guy to work with, was efficient, good price, and did great work on my basement sanding and priming. Thanks Jeff!

Good guy that listened to what we wanted. Did a good job! Also offered to fix somethings that we needed to get the look we wanted. Thanks

I a small 9x10' room in a 70+ year old house that was cracked and pealing which I thought the only option was to drywall over. Jeffery was the only person who gave me options of drywall or plaster. After discussing the two I went with plaster which he offered for the same cost which was in line with the lowest estimates. He applied 3 coats even though I was happy after 2 he wasn't satisfied. He even painted it which wasn't in the scope of work!. He kept me informed thru the job and I'm very happy with finished work.

Jeffrey was a pleasure to work with. He came in with a plan to tackle the popcorn ceiling with drywall repair. Work was done at a good pace and he also worked with me to fix other issues in the house that was outside of the scope of work. He cares about the craftsmanship and is willing to do the work properly, even if it meant staying longer in the day to complete the job. On top of everything, he offers to clean the best he can and is very communicative before doing anything major in your home. I would recommend Jeffrey to anyone who is looking for good work to be done at a reasonable price. He is a trustworthy worker and you will not regret picking him to do the job. I have another job line up for him in the next few months and could not say anything but good things about Jeffrey. Pick him for the job!

Very happy with the results of the work carried out by Jeff! Work was completed within the timeline required, which was important to me. Would recommend!

We hired Jeff to come and repair our cracked plaster ceilings and walls in our 1940s house. He did an amazing job and it has absolutely updated the look of the house. He is professional, courteous and very skilled at what he does. He was very reasonably priced compared to others we got quotes from. I would highly recommend Jeff for your future projects.

Great timing and great quality of work! Jeff is very responsible and did very good job! The ceilings look amazing! We are very happy with the quality.

I hired Jeff to smooth out my popcorn ceiling, he charged me a fair price but went above and beyond by helping me with all sorts of random patches and problems that were not part of our contract. He took his time and ensured everything is up to my standards, would highly recommend him to anyone looking for popcorn removal or any drywall finishing service.

I had over 40 holes in my house from a plumbing overhaul. Some were huge. Jeff was able to make it look like they were never even there. No bumps or visible lines in the drywall at all. I will definitely use Jeff again.
