Contracted Assured to finish our small basement and the services received were exceptional from the start. Their team was fully transparent on the costs associated, and provided us with a shell solution that met our needs. Work has been completed ahead of schedule and the communication between ourselves and the assured team has been excellent. Special shoutout to Mike and Ryan who have been fantastic to deal with through the whole process. Would definitely recommend!

Researched for a company that can deliver services of renovating our basement based on our needs. Assured basement came through. Considering the space, they maximized it and gave us exactly how we want our basement to look. Although they are very very expensive, they were highly professional, punctual, and organized. They also kept to timelines which was amazing. I will recommend them to anyone who needs them.

Wanted to add a fully separate basement apartment thereby making use of empty space. Never moved forward because of the costs since I wanted very specific things to be included and was afraid to move forward. Severale companies came to give me a quote including Assured Basements. Gave it a lot of thought and came to the conclusion that Assured could probaby handle the job but still had some reservations. When Ryan, Hollis and Riya came to assess the basement I had a good feeling they could take this on. They were very friendly and approachable, always positive, patient and always available. All the tradespeople were also very friendly. I was stunned at how hard and fast they worked. Ryan told me the project would be done before Christmas and it was! Yes Michael, I did hire the right company.

We recently worked with Assured Basements to renovate our basement, and we are thrilled with the results! They offered far more value during our first meeting than any other contractor we met. They didn't push the cash-only option to ensure accountability and to provide clients with a paper trail. As part of their pitch, they showed proof of insurance and were also the only contractor to offer a full shower option (no corner shower) and oak stairs as a default. The team demonstrated genuine enthusiasm for our project. They helped us make better design choices, decide on the placement of items, and provided better long-term solutions. The team was laser-focused on the smallest details, and they didnt rest until we were completely satisfied. The billing and invoicing were transparent. Everything on our invoice was itemized, so we knew exactly what we were paying for. There were no surprises, and the progress was easy to track with the BuilderTrend app, which provided regular progress updates. The team was on schedule, and everyone they brought in to work on our basement was awesome. Needed a basement done for our family. When me and the wife had our first baby. We needed extra space in the house. We decided to get quotes for the basement and after interviewing 5 contractors decided to go with Assured Basements. The sales team was very professional and had a detailed breakdown of all costs associated with the project including floor plans. After visiting the showroom and selecting the materials for the project it took a total of 6 weeks and the basement was completed. Assured Basements completely renovated our basement this past summer. They did a great job from start to finish. The new space looks and feels phenomenal. We highly recommend getting a quote here first before going with any other general contractor.

Assured basements has been my worst experience. First of all they overly expensive. My basement was already finished so what I needed was a separate entrance and the City requirements excluding the kitchen and flooring and they charged me $72,000. Secondly, bad customer service. They don't care about how the customer feels, it's all about them. After paying the full amount, they started delaying the job. I waited for three weeks of nothing happening so I had to finish the rest of the job from my pocket. I spent about $8000 extra in order to to finish the basement. Inspection day came and the inspector pointed out a couple of things that were supposed to be done before Occupancy Hollis who happened to be my project manager told me that since I took the job away from them, I have to do all that by myself. Yes, I finished the job but didn't take money back from them besides $1,498.55 for the smoke detectors upstairs which I didn't include in the extra money spent. Second inspection came, the inspector wanted to check valve for Sump Pump that was done by assured basements, Hollis again said that was on me eventhough they finished that part of the job. Hollis came for inspection before the final inspection but didn't see that smoke detectors weren't installed upstairs. I had to take pictures of things that weren't done then he decided to come back to confirm. Communication was poor. There was no single time that I texted once and got a response right away. This is just a summary of my experience. I referred them to my aunt and sister before my project was started. My aunt's basement was started in May and it's still not completed. My sister had the same experience.

We are very satisfied with the work performed by Assured Basement. We had approached few contractors for our legal basement and all were recommending the entrance from the backyard. Ryan and Hollis from Assured basement came up with the solution and created the entrance from the front as per our requirement. They started the project on time and completed the work in a timely manner. Their team were helpful, polite, friendly and courteous.
