My roof was damaged in the spring from the big storm that came through on Easter weekend. I had wanted my insurance company to use their contractor, assuming that would be simpler for me. After waiting 7 months, and then being told the repair would be delayed to next spring, I started looking for my own contractor. I contacted Danforth on a Friday, and they sent someone out that day to review the job. They came and completed the repair the next Tuesday. What the insurance company couldnt accomplish in 7 months, they did in a few days.

After a recent storm, we experienced some water leaking into our home. Wade responded to my homestars request and agreed to come by to take a look. Only one other company responded, and they said they were too busy with similar requests. We are so thankful that Wade decided to take the job! After inspecting the roof, they found shingles missing and many more lifting. He also discovered that the builders did not install enough ventilation, and so the heat buildup was causing the shingles to dry out and lift. So they replaced the missing and damaged shingles, nailed down the lifting shingles, and extended the life of our roof by installing 2 wirley birds. Wade even provided us with a report to send to our insurance company, as we were not at fault for the damage. Wade even followed up after a recent rainfall to make sure there was no more leaking. We are very pleased with the service provided, and will use Danforth Rd. Roofing Installers and Contracting again when we need to replace our roof. The pictures show the damage to the roof, as well as the after shot with the wirley bird install.

I should have written this a few months ago, but finally got around to it. Wade and his people did a great job eliminating a recurring issue with the siding on the side of my house facing my alleyway (which is essentially a wind tunnel). After having it patched multiple times and stressing out every time there was a storm, Wade came by and gave me a reasonable quote without out adding a "bunch of extras" as the other companies who came by said had to be done. They removed the old siding (that which was falling or already off) and resided by the time I got home from work. Other than the siding, I would never have even known they had been there. In addition, about a week later, we had a big wind storm and Wade phoned to check that all was well with the new siding.

I initially contacted Wade as my mudroom siding had been damaged due to the negligence of a gravel truck and the property manager next door. Wade was quick to give advice, sent some pictures and quick to give a quote. Due to his advice, I changed my plans and submitted his quote to my insurance company, which was less than the insurance companies contractor. We decided to go with vinyl siding rather than aluminum and Wade was there to give us advice on the "in" colours at this time. Since we were doing the mudroom, we decided to also do the two peaks at the front of the house and Wade was quick to include it for us. Upon doing the work, they discovered that I had some rot in the wood beneath the aluminum siding and that the mudroom roof was not proper. Wade recommended replacing the roofing and for an additional, reasonable cost, that was added in as well. It should be noted that poor Wade contracted covid during this time but was always there to answer a question or call (he's a trooper)! The workmen were absolutely fabulous! Took great care of the property and worked so hard to get the job done quickly. I couldn't be more pleased and would recommend them to anyone who needs their siding done.

Danforth Rd Roof is an awesome company to deal with. I had been attempting to have siding installed on my addition and had had a problem with the original company I had hired to do this job. I filled out a request on Home Stars and Danforth Rd Roofing contacted me. They were so nice to deal with and were able to complete the job that day. His crew were so professional and helpful. In the future if I have other projects I would definitely hire them. I would also recommend them to my family and friends.

We were working with a different contractor to build a mudroom on our front porch, but the job was not completed. We contacted Wade at Danforth Contracting to find someone to finish the work; we needed to have a window installed and the exterior finished with siding. Wade was very friendly, flexible, quick to respond and meet with us. and easy to communicate with. He gave much attention to detail and noticed issues with the original construction that he was able to address. The work was done very quickly and professionally. He worked with us in a way that made us feel a part of the family, wanting to give us the best work that he could give. We would definitely work with Wade again.
